Duh, Ryan Gosling Won't be in 'Star Wars'

Getty Images Getty Images

Whoever started this rumor, dude(s), we like your enthusiasm and all but c'mon... Ryan Gosling in a "Star Wars" movie? It's way too absurd to be even remotely believable, in this galaxy or one far, far away.

So, it probably wasn't even necessary for his people to reach out and officially put the big fat kibosh on that line of chatter, though they did. Get More »

[From MTV NewsOn April 14, the MTV Movie Awards will feel the thunder from Down Under as "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson stars as host of this year's celebration of all things cinematical. But, as we've learned from Wilson's hilarious car-chase promos with "Magic Mike" hunk Channing Tatum, she could always use a little back-up (or feel up, as the case may be). All of the week's hot casting news in one fell swoop ...

• Seth MacFarlane has scored quite the cowgirl! Colin Farrell and Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain are going classical with "Miss Julie," director Liv Ullmann's take on August Strindberg's 19th-century stage play about the sexually-charged battle of wills between a wealthy socialite and one of her head servants, with the servant's fiancee popping up every now and then to make things even more interesting. Samantha Morton is also set to star. [The Hollywood Reporter] Get More »

You have to give Zac Efron this much: He may not be an A-list movie star yet, but it sure isn't from a lack of trying.
