That awkward moment when a movie gets made off of some hipsteriffic catch phrase ... and it actually looks mildly funny? Well, it's happening.
Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller star in "That Awkward Moment," the debut bro-down comedy from writer-director Tom Gormican which follows three
little pigs best friends as they navigate the uncharted waters of the dating scene. The red band trailer for the film has been released via Yahoo! Movies, and let's just say it's positively filled with mile-a-minute male-tastic witticisms. Get More »

The assassination of JFK has been poked, prodded and pulled in every possible direction over the past five decades — and lo, people still speculate about this conspiracy or that regarding the tragic event — but Peter Landesman's "Parkland" aims to explore a few new perspectives on the day everyone then-alive has his or her own story about. Whoever started this rumor, dude(s), we like your enthusiasm and all but c'mon... Ryan Gosling in a "Star Wars" movie? It's way too absurd to be even remotely believable, in this galaxy or one far, far away.
So, it probably wasn't even necessary for his people to reach out and officially put the big fat kibosh on that line of chatter, though they did. Get More »
[From MTV News] On April 14, the MTV Movie Awards will feel the thunder from Down Under as "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson stars as host of this year's celebration of all things cinematical. But, as we've learned from Wilson's hilarious car-chase promos with "Magic Mike" hunk Channing Tatum, she could always use a little back-up (or feel up, as the case may be). And now she's getting it—the back-up part, at least—with a slew of presenters announced today. Get More »
All of the week's hot casting news in one fell swoop ...
• Seth MacFarlane has scored quite the cowgirl! The "Ted" funnyman has rounded up the gorgeous (and quite funny herself) Charlize Theron to star in his new film, "A Million Ways to Die in the West," a self-described "Blazing Saddles"-type comedy about a sheepish farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend leave him. [Heat Vision]
• Colin Farrell and Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain are going classical with "Miss Julie," director Liv Ullmann's take on August Strindberg's 19th-century stage play about the sexually-charged battle of wills between a wealthy socialite and one of her head servants, with the servant's fiancee popping up every now and then to make things even more interesting. Samantha Morton is also set to star. [The Hollywood Reporter] Get More »

You have to give Zac Efron this much: He may not be an A-list movie star yet, but it sure isn't from a lack of trying.
And that ambition is on full display in the brand new trailer for the indie drama "At Any Price," which features Efron in perhaps his meatiest role so far. Get More »
Last night, the
internet voting zombies people spoke and declared who and what they favored most from 2012's crop of films at the 2013 People's Choice Awards, and to the surprise of absolutely no one it was "The Hunger Games" which came out on top of the wins list.
"Hunger Games" snagged the win for Favorite Movie as well as Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise and Favorite On-Screen Chemistry. The film also garnered its now two-time Oscar-nominated leading actress Jennifer Lawrence a win for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Face of Heroism, which was great because her speech was - per usual - completely adorable.
