Melissa McCarthy's onscreen characters may poop in sinks and buy rounds of drinks with a stolen credit card, but she ain't gonna stand back and watch somebody abuse a child in real life.

The star of 2013's first big hit, "Identity Thief," reportedly fired a woman from the set of her new film on Monday after watching her hoist a young child in the air by the wrist.

The 20-something mother had brought her kindergarten-aged child with her to the Wilmington, North Carolina shooting location of  2014's "Tammy," which McCarthy co-wrote and is co-directing with her husband, Ben Falcone. The woman was one of more than 200 extras who spent the day shooting near a lake. She had been loudly telling her kid to "stop it" and "quiet down" all morning, according to TMZ, who first reported the story. After McCarthy witnessed her jerking the kid in the air by the wrist, she had production assistants boot the extra from her set with the quickness.

"Tammy" is a road trip comedy starring McCarthy as a woman who hits the highway with her hard-drinking mother (Susan Sarandon) after finding out her husband is having an affair and getting fired from her job (like a child-abusing extra, one might say). "It's about these two women who are not where they thought they would be, and then they kind of band together," McCarthy told The Hollywood Reporter when New Line acquired the story. "It's just my perfect tone. It’s so funny, and it also kind of breaks my heart."

The movie also stars Susan Sarandon, Dan Akroyd, Allison Janney and Kathy Bates. Will Ferrell is an executive producer; "Anchorman" director Adam McKay also produced.

Some of us just yawned and obsessed over the ticking of the clock during our far-too-long commencement speeches. Whatever maniac decided that so-and-so's wife's something or other who didn’t even graduate is equipped to send students off with a 30-minute diatribe on themselves is sorely mistaken. Just dole out the degrees already and call a day a day, right, kids? Unless ...

You know, every so often schools are able to wrangle in someone actually interesting to deliver a few notes of wisdom — some more often than others (cough Harvard cough). Even better, once in a while they're our very shiniest movie stars who make lots of funnies and deliver all the feels and suddenly the speeches don't seem so bad.

Here's a tip-o'-the-grad cap to whoever lined up these 13 awesome movie star speeches. Fair warning: This may enhance the bore factor of your regular, non-famous speaker. Sorry 'bout that.

13. Steve Carell

Like most graduation day speakers, Steve Carell had some pointers for the Princeton University Class of 2012 ... only, they were a tad unconventional (note: this does not mean inaccurate), like "Remember that the words 'regime' and 'regimen' are not interchangeable" and "Get a dog, because cats are lame." Mostly importantly, "Do something kind, make someone laugh and don't take yourself too seriously." His mouth straight to our ears.

12. Patrick Wilson

Patrick Wilson was far from "Insidious" when addressing last year's graduating class at his former stomping grounds alma mater Carnegie Mellon; he was downright "Morning Glory." Okay, those puns were pretty amateur, but what else is there to say about a speech that slings out some truth like this little ditty: "Remember what the passion is in your life. Hold on to that which gives you hope. Grip it close to you and don’t let it go." Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

11. Viola Davis

The amazing Viola Davis lived up to that reputation with her speech at the Providence College graduation last year by delving into her own heartstrings-pulling life story. "At 38, I got married in a white dress. I thought never in my life will I get married ... Someone told me, 'Well, marriage is like a death … you die to yourself.' And there I was the next day, reciting those vows with great joy. And children, no images of being a 46-year-old mother with a 2-year-old child entered the realms of my imagination.  Yet once again, here I am, facilitating a life, guiding with the knowledge that I cannot protect, but only love." What a lovely and genuine gem.

10. Andy Samberg

As mentioned above, Harvard gets the significant load share of legit talent for its grad day stage work. Why? Well, as Andy Samberg told its Class of 2012-ers, "Harvard remains iconic in our culture." A+ homework on that note. With that in mind, Samberg had an important message for the people in the room who'd actually walk away from the day with a degree from America's most renowned. "Relax, dude!" he said. "You just finished college at Harvard." For serious.

9. Peter Dinklage

Bennington College's Class of 2012 got more than just a wee bit-o-self-awareness when "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Peter Dinklage took the stage to deliver their graduation speech; they got a pot of gold, really. "I waited a long time out in the world before I gave myself permission to fail," he remembered. "Please don't even bother asking. Don't bother telling the world you are ready. Show it. Do it." Yessir!

8. Jodie Foster

We still haven't fully synthesized Jodie Foster's Golden Globes speech, but her chat with Penn's Class of 2006 was on point ... especially when she came up with the bag of experience euphemism for life's many little blemishes. "You pick up bits and pieces of treasure and trash, pain and pleasure, passions and disappointments and you start stuffing them in your bag ... your big bag of experience." Now there's a good way to wipe away the sins of the undergrad, uh, experience.

7. Robert De Niro

When you're Robert De Niro, you can do the heavy, no problem, but you're totally with the funny business, too. Bates College got a taste of both during its 2012 commencement ceremony. "When you're a movie star, you can coast," he flirted with the attentive crowd. "For example, who remembers the last really good successful picture I made? C'mon. Anyone? It doesn't matter. I’m still getting the big bucks that Will Ferrell wishes he were getting ... I want you to know under this movie star exterior is a real person. Just like you. Nah, I really didn't mean that. That was acting. You see, I still got it."

6. Amy Poehler

Okay, so Amy Poehler is primarily a TV star right now, but her awesomeness transcends the entertainment mediums (speaking of, where's that book already?!). During her speech to the Harvard — See?! — Class of 2011, she shelled out a few valuable live and learn-ers. "I moved to Chicago in the early 1990s and I studied improvisation there," she recounted. "I learned some rules that I try to apply still today: Listen. Say yes. Live in the moment. Make sure you play with people who have your back. Make big choices early and often. Don't start a scene where two people are talking about jumping out of a plane. Start the scene having already jumped. If you're scared, look into your partner's eyes — you will feel better." And we're guessing by partner she means our other pretend "Baby Mama" Tina Fey?

5. Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington wasn't afraid to admit his own shortcomings and fears to the University of Pennsylvania's Class of 2011  in order to commiserate with their own pending doom. "First … you will fail at some point in your life. Accept it. You will lose.  You will embarrass yourself. You will suck at something. There is no doubt about it," he blithely warned. "That's probably not a traditional message for a graduation ceremony.  But, hey, I'm telling you — embrace it. Because it's inevitable." He reserved the optimism and good cheer for later on.

4. Sacha Baron Cohen

In another instance of Harvard reeling in the most entertaining at the podium, Sacha Baron Cohen showed up for the Class of 2004 as Ali G "coz me wanted to talk to de brightest minds of our generation" and "and also coz dey agreed to pay for me flight over here and hotel room." So, things started out on a rather festive note indeed (... with the English majors in the crowd busy contracting TMJ). Even so, he ultimately delivered a pretty solid point about the unification of mankind: "I look out and I see thousands of people wiv different hopes and different dreams — but it is important never to forget where you all came from — becoz black, white, brown or Pakistani we all comes from de same place — de punani."

3. Meryl Streep

Hollywood's living legendette made sure we could understand just why everyone fusses over the biz of "pretending" during her speech to the Barnard College Class of 2010. "Pretending is not just play," Meryl Streep cooed after a clever little aside about all the kissing actors have to do (co-stars, enemies, a**es). "Pretending is imagined possibility. Pretending or acting is a very valuable life skill and we all do it all the time. We don't want to be caught doing it, but nevertheless, it's part of the adaptation of our species. We change who we are to fit the exigencies of our time. And not just strategically or to our own advantage, sometimes sympathetically without our even knowing it for the betterment of our own group." So why is it that we don't we call her Dame again?

2. Will Ferrell

Before breaking into song — no, literally, that happened, and he funneled a beer Frank the Tank-style — Will Ferrell offered up some pretty good advice to the Harvard graduates of 2003: Pay your taxes. "You know, I sincerely hope you enjoy this next chapter of your life because it's really going to be great, as long as you pay your taxes," he said. "And don't just take a year off because you think Uncle Sam is snoozing at the wheel because he will descend upon you like a hawk from hell. Let's just put it this way: After some past indiscretions with the IRS, my take-home pay last year was $9,000." Noted.

1. Tom Hanks

But of course America's most trusted man gives good speech. Tom Hanks addressed Yale University's Class of 2011 with all the finesse and good old fashioned-ness he's been sporting for decades. Perhaps it was the Mayan Calendar conspiracy at bay or the fact that the country was still actively mixed in two wars, but the theme of Tom Hanks' commencement address was fear ... and how to avoid being crippled by it. "Fear has become the commodity that sells as certainly as sex ... Fear is cheap, fear is easy, fear gets attention." He then challenged the day's graduates "to stand on the fulcrum between fear and faith — fear at your back, faith in front of you ... tweet out a picture of the results," of course. Whaddaguy.

Will Ferrell's "Anchorman" sequel's subtitle might be "The Legend Continues" but it should probably be re-dubbed "A Series Of Potentially Distracting Cameo Appearances" (although that would be really hard to fit on the marquee). Kanye West, Tina Fey, Kristin Wiig, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler (whom "Anchorman" die hards will remember had a sizable role in the first film, only to see her entire subplot deleted from the final product), Liam Neeson, John C. Reilly, Jim Carrey and Harrison Ford have all shot cameos for the hotly anticipated sequel (also: an animatronic shark).

The latest celebrity to be roped into this cameo feeding frenzy? None other than Canadian rapper Drake.

The hip hop-er and former "Degrassi: The Next Generation" cast member was spotted on the New York midtown location shoot, wearing a ridiculously fake-looking afro, long seventies-era sideburns, a Members Only jacket and a T-shirt embossed by a roaring gold dragon (seven hells!). Basically, with just a pinch more attention to themery he could have been a gang member from "The Warriors." And that, friends, is pretty awesome.

The scene also involved Ferrell, in a hideous fur-lined jacket, as tough-talking anchorman Ron Burgundy walking down the street with his lady love Veronica Corningstone, played once again by Christina Applegate. Extras were outfitted in period finery and old cabs circled the block, ignoring people who needed a ride downtown.

It's unclear what Drake's role will be, but Kanye West got to choke Steve Carell with a hockey stick, so really all bets are off. We'll see whether or not these cameos actually make it into the movie or, like the first film, can fill out an entire feature-length collection of deleted scenes, when "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" opens on December 20th.

"Anchorman: The Legend Continues" will host a slew of bizarro celebrity cameos — everyone from Kristen Wiig to Kanye West to Nicole Kidman, so pretty much just everyone in show business — but as this latest teaser from the long-awaited sequel reminds, the ultimate centerpiece of this little shindig will be the one and only Channel 4 foursome.

Yep, San Diego's wackiest news quartet is back, ya'll, boots, ties and all.

And even though scripting, casting and filming has since taken place, teaser number two looks pretty much identical to the the first one we saw last year.

In it, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Champ Kind (David Koechner) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) step forth together with a few choice words of intrigue to encourage viewers to tune in this December when they return to the big screen after almost a decade.

Rather than the sub-machine guns and boobies promised last time, this go-round offers up tales of perfect hair and liquor breath and, yes, s'more awkward Brick Tamland-isms like "always make sure the parents are around if you hug a child." It's actually good advice but yeah. Awks.

And what would an "Anchorman"-related video be without signing off the telecast with Ron Burgundy's catchphrase?

"Anchorman 2" will hit theaters on Dec. 20.

The cameo is a time honored tradition in American cinema, especially in comedies. Everybody loves a well-placed cameo, right? Especially when it's someone surprising, like fimmaker Marshall McLuhan famously playing himself in "Annie Hall." That's some good stuff.

But when do cameos become too much of a good thing? Well, according to Hollywood.com, "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" may have just reached that point, as Kanye West is reportedly the latest random celebrity to film a cameo for the long-anticipated comedy sequel. He was spotted filming on an Atlanta rooftop with Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate, being shaded by an umbrella.

But with West — and so many other reported cameos — in the picture, we have to ask: Is there going to be any room left for Will Ferrell?

Of course, it's possible that Kanye's cameo will be incredibly funny. After all, he does have a long and well documented history of doing wildly inappropriate and borderline insane things. Just ask Taylor Swift.

Still, as much as we love a juicy cameo, it seems like Ferrell and director Adam McKay might be going just slightly overboard. After all, we've already received word that Harrison Ford is doing a cameo. He's not the only big name superstar, either: Not only is Liam Neeson in the movie, but Nicole Kidman is also involved, Kirsten Dunst has been spotted on set and no less a personage than Meryl Streep has been publicly campaigning to get her own walk-on part.

And those are just some of the stranger names associated with the film. There's also the band of usual comedy suspects, such as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson (who both appeared in the first "Anchorman" as well), Sacha Baron Cohen and Jim Carrey.

It seems like a lot, especially since the power of cameos usually comes from their surprise. And since none of these are going to be a surprise, we have to ask: Kanye? Really? Is that necessary?

Throwback alert! With the buzz of the hottest  films of 2013 coming up this summer, let us not forget those that have gone before us. Supercut Originals created a mashup that brings back the most memorable movies of a decade ago...that magical year of 2003. Back in a time when the new millennium was still new, directors taught us to just keep swimming, that being the big G-O-D ain't easy,and the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

It was a good year for Will Ferrell with "Old School" and one of the most quotable Christmas movies of all time, "Elf." Nautical nonsense was a common theme: a clownfish searched the seas for his son, "Open Water" made everyone fear scuba diving, Ewan McGregor tried to catch a "Big Fish" and swaggery pirates plundered the Caribbean. The first attempt to "Kill Bill" was made, Jim Carrey played God, Jack Black played rock, and Billy Bob Thornton played a really bad mall Santa.  And let's not forget all the sequels! (and threequels?)

The video's was nice enough to add a honorable mention list of movies that didn't make the cut. Let the head scratching commence at why "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" wasn't featured.

Hey, at least they're getting their exercise.

Will Ferrell and Jack Black will soon let the games begin as they're attached to star in "Tag," a comedy pitch that New Line recently picked up, according to The Wrap.

"Tag" is based on a Wall Street Journal article called "Tag Brothers" that followed ten classmates from a Spokane, Washington prep school who, now all in their 40s, play an elaborate game of tag for one month of the year.

A one-month-long game of tag played by a bunch of middle-aged dudes? We feel sorry for the guy who's "It."

Ferrell and Black's confirmed involvement depends on scheduling and the script, which is set to be written by Mark Steilen, who served as the second unit director on the Farrelly Brothers' "Hall Pass" and "The Three Stooges." If the project comes to pass (and we hope it does), "Tag" would mark the duo's first team-up since "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" (2004), in which Black had a cameo.

No doubt this will be the most amusing game of tag in the history of the, uh, sport with these two involved. Until then, Will Ferrell, who was recently honored for his Comedic Genius at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, will next be seen making a cameo in "The Internship," opening June 7, and Jack Black is in pre-production on "Kung Fu Panda 3."

Well, that was unexpected. It seems like Aubrey Plaza, star of TV's "Parks and Recreation" and the upcoming "The To-Do List" checked one very unique task off her list last night: Stage-bombing Will Ferrell in the middle of his acceptance speech for the Comedic Genius Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

Attendees were just as surprised by the unscripted moment as audience members and Ferrell himself.

"Did she Kanye him?!" Seth Rogen asked backstage when MTV News' Josh Horowitz asked him about the moment.  "Something unplanned happened at the MTV Movie Awards? That's a first."

He said that he had no idea that Plaza, who played his love interest in the 2009 Judd Apatow flick "Funny People," was going to pull any kind of stunt when he saw her earlier in the evening.

"She had a look in her eye," he said. "Maybe she knew she was about to do something wild."

Plaza, who had written a promotional message about "The To-Do List" across her chest with a marker sometime in between the red carpet and her (barefoot!) stage-bomb, was ejected from the ceremony after trying — and failing — to pull the award from the bewildered Ferrell's hands.

Later, Plaza tweeted, "thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned! #mtvmovieawards #chrisbosh #thesecret"

Ferrell, for his part, took the prank in stride, saying, "Just like we rehearsed it!" after the actress left the stage and took her seat. Later, in an interview with MTV News, he said, "I think she wanted to tell me something important, but there was no message. It was just a lot of hot liquor breath. And then ... and a little bit of sweat. And then she ran away. But the ship sailed on."

Aubrey, imma let you finish, but that's not your trophy.

[From MTV News] On Sunday night (April 14), something inspired actress Aubrey Plaza to storm the stage while Will Ferrell was accepting his Comedic Genius Golden Popcorn at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

While the "Anchorman" star was making the A-listers in the room LOL with his speech, the "Parks and Recreation" star — with the name of her August film "The To Do List" scrolled across her chest — jumped onstage and tried to wrestle the statue out of his hand. While it seemed like it may have been a gag, MTV News can confirm that the moment was anything but planned.

Plaza, who was holding a cup she later dropped on her way back to her seat, wasn't supposed to join the funnyman at all, and the whole back-and-forth was unscripted. Shortly after she interrupted the actor's big moment, she was asked to leave the show by producers.

The MTV Movie Awards turns 22 this Sunday, April 14, which means yes, our beloved awards show has been drinking legally for a year.

In people years, the MTV Movie Awards still wouldn't be able to rent a car at the regular rate; but in the accolades-passing-out universe, 22 consecutive years of awarding popcorn statues to the A-list, producing the funniest movie spoofs ever, trying to wrangle Jim Carrey through his many stunts and witnessing the horror that was Borat's booty in Eminem's face has made it one of the most fun, most can't-be-missed awards shows in all Awards Show Land.

To celebrate the upcoming show (Sunday, April 14, 9:00 p.m. ET, MTV), here's our walk down memory lane with stops along the way to recall the 20 most memorable Movie Awards moments ever.

2000: When Tom Cruise Met Tom Crooze

Ben Stiller cut short his honeymoon and hopped onto a 15-hour plane ride to fly home to Los Angeles and film the classic clip in which he plays Tom Crooze, the movie stunt double for Tom Cruise. Making the most of the Cruise impersonation Stiller had been perfecting for years, the video finds the duo working on "M:I 2" with director John Woo, while Cruise struggles to find the words to describe his zealous double ("He's harmless" is oft repeated) and both Toms dissolve into creepy laughter at the end. You have to know that when Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen get together on an irreverent awards show, and the precedent is for one funny guy to outdo the last one, there's likely to be some outrageous activity ahead. When Sacha Baron Cohen, as his flamboyant fashionista alter ego Brüno, dropped from the rafters of the Gibson Amphitheatre, booty up, into the lap of Eminem — his thonged bottom mere inches from the rapper's face — it appeared that Eminem had been Brüno'ed. Especially when, in response to Brüno's "Nice to meet you," Em shouted, "Are you serious? Are you f***in' serious?!" But the real Slim Shady later admitted in an interview that he was not only in on the gag, but found it hilarious. "I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it," Eminem said. The Awards took place on June 3, and Hilton was scheduled to begin serving her DUI-related jail stint on June 5, so it was an especially big oh-no-she-di'int moment when Silverman unleashed this: "In a couple of days, Paris Hilton is going to jail ... I heard that, to make her feel more comfortable in prison, the guards are going to paint the bars to look like penises. I just worry that she's going to break her teeth on those things."

Hilarious? To some — though, not, of course, Hilton, who was just rows away in the audience and looked less than thrilled at Silverman's verbal jabs. No worries, though, because Paris got the last word. Who was that long-haired, bushy-bearded hippie taking the stage to accept Jim Carrey's Best Male Performance MTV Movie Award for "The Truman Show"? It was Carrey, even though half the audience hadn't recognized him until he sauntered onto the stage to accept his statue. Never breaking character during his nearly four-and-a-half-minute schtick (which no one, even Movie Awards producers, had been privy to before the show), the actor gave a shout-out to the ladies in the audience, and had a little musical request for MTV.

"There sure is some fine-looking p***y in this room tonight, I'll tell you that much. You're all going in my fantasy file," he said to the delight of audience members like Courtney Love, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Keri Russell. And a request for MTV network execs: "I got a little bone to pick with the programming department. I like rap music as much as a nice, frightened Caucasian ... Back in 2001, would anyone have predicted that Jimmy Fallon would become the clever late-night talk show host he's become today? Perhaps not, but this intro for the 2001 Movie Awards, which Fallon co-hosted with Kirsten Dunst, should have been a giant clue. It was just so wrong, which is, of course, what made it so hilarious when the all-grown-up members of "The Brady Bunch" cast reenacted that naughty "Basic Instinct" interrogation scene with Carol Brady herself (aka Florence Henderson) in the role played by the sultry, legs-uncrossing Sharon Stone. Peter Brady (Christopher Knight) and sister Cindy (Susan Olsen) questioned her about "the nature of her relationship" with Sam the Butcher, prompting cool-as-a-cucumber Carol to 'fess up to an affair with Sam. Who says real-life couples don't have chemistry on-screen? Well, lots of people, and it's usually true. But we'll have to point out an exception, via the 2005 Movie Awards. Best Kiss winners Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, who nabbed a popcorn trophy for their liplocking in "The Notebook," also happened to be a real-life couple at the time. And when they hit the stage to accept their award, they walked to opposite sides of the stage, removed their jackets and walked towards each other, meeting up in a scorching reenactment of their passionate "Notebook" smooch. 1992: Shatner Boldly Goes to the Movie Awards — and Sings

If anything from the very first MTV Movie Awards in 1992 hinted at the kind of telecast we could expect for years to come, it was the presentation of the nominees for Best Song From a Movie. The contenders: MC Hammer's "Addams Groove" from "The Addams Family," Color Me Badd's "I Wanna Sex You Up" from "New Jack City," Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" from "Rush," Guns N' Roses' "You Could Be Mine" from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and the eventual winner, Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" from "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves."

1998: A 'Titanic' Sequel?

In this movie-pitch spoof, a pair of execs, played by Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, tried to convince Oscar-winning "Titanic" director James Cameron he should make a sequel to "Titanic." The movie's premise, according to the execs, was that the passengers from "Titanic" didn't die, but managed to survive for decades in an "air pocket" they found in the ocean. And as ridiculous as it sounds, we'd be willing to bet a pile of cash that Cameron has been pitched some equally outlandish "Titanic" sequel ideas through the years. | Watch the Video

2012: Elizabeth Banks Gets Carried Away

Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum, stars of the then-upcoming "Magic Mike," presented the award for "Best Transformation" to Elizabeth Banks for her near-unrecognizable portrayal of Effie Trinket in "The Hunger Games." "Magic Mike" then managed to upstage the entire bit as "Mike" star Joe Manganiello suddenly appeared as a shirtless fireman and carried Banks off stage. Effie would've freaked; Liz loved it. They say nice guys finish last, but what about the funny ones? Comedy superstar Will Ferrell proves that laughs will get you everywhere in this supercut that details all the times Ferrell got to lock lips with pretty ladies. And there are a lot of them: Zooey Deschanel, Jenna Fischer, Christina Applegate, and the list goes on...

Okay, sure, so there's a dog, too. And, okay, an old woman. And, fine, there's a basketball, too, but that doesn't erase the fact that the dude planted his lips of Genesis Rodriguez. And, yes, the list also includes an epic makeout with Sacha Baron Cohen, but, really, isn't one Borat worth five Leslie Bibbs? That's how that math works, right?

Conclusion? Keep the jokes coming, fellas. It could do a body good.

No one ever said modeling was an easy job, and if they did, they'd be wrong because have you seen these gals? It's pretty clear that, for some bowlegged beauties, walking in a straight line in heels can be a total bitch.

Appropriately, just in time for New York Fashion Week, style icon and male model "Zoolander" takes in the best supermodel FAILS on all the interwebs (already a classic viral compilation), and laughs til it hurts. And he's brought the whole gang with him to point, stare, and cackle, including David Bowie, Tyson Beckford, and Owen Wilson. Will Ferrell says it best when, as Jacobim Mugatu, he whines that he feels like he's "taken crazy pills," which may very well be the case if you watch enough of these gaffes in a row.

Because, hey, sometimes putting one foot in front of the other and looking really angry (or just very, very hungry) is a really tough job, you guys! Zoolander gets it!

It's no secret that at least half of the fun of watching the Super Bowl is seeing the big-budget, blockbuster commercials between plays. But sometimes a genius really, really weird ad slips through the cracks. And by slips through the cracks, we mean it only airs in a few "select" markets. Like this Will Ferrell ad for Old Milwaukee beer.

The commercial, which manages to suck up an entire minute of airtime, features a nice Christian woman (as deduced by her cross necklace) woman on a bus. At first, she just stares longingly out the window—until she turns to a mustached Will Ferrell and beings making out. We're not talking some friendly kiss. This is a full on face-sucking session. The whole tryst is set to a distinct Chinese song, identified as "Mother, Where Are You?" Creepy.

For about two seconds the camera pans back to show the product being hawked… which is (apparently) Old Milwaukee beer… and then it's back to the junior-high-like make-out fest. Word on the street is that Ferrell doesn't even get paid to make these commercials, but he does get total creative freedom "to revive a brand."

Jimmy Kimmel Live

"It slices through warm butter like it's warm butter."

ABC moved "Jimmy Kimmel Live" up to 11:35 a.m., but apparently the talk show host didn't check the sign-in sheet: the space is apparently reserved on Wednesdays at 11:30 for "Knife Guys," a QVC knife show hosted by Will Ferrell and Ryan Gosling.

Unfazed by the intruding Kimmel, the Guys go on with their show, in which they demonstrate how the "Stabmaster 2200 Razor Steel Samurai Sword" can cut through just about everything, including baloons, cookie dough, cotton candy, chocolate milk ("You always gotta slice chocolate milk!"), potato chips, tapioca pudding ... and, eventually, Will's finger, an accident for which Gosling blames Kimmel ("Your energy did this!").

This is actually one of the funnier Ferrell stunts to come out in a while, and Gosling does a good job of cracking a smile but not actually cracking up, showing the kind of restraint that Ferrell's SNL buddy Jimmy Fallon was never able to manage.

This is perhaps the most stressful game ever invented.

The personal tastes of Drew Barrymore are revealed in this high-stakes snippet from Funny or Die's "Billy on the Street with Billy Eichner." Our host spews off rapid-fire questions regarding the "Charlie's Angels" star that Will Ferrell must answer correctly, though her exact feelings toward naps, blueberries and Robert Downey Jr. probably can't be found on any Wikipedia page.

What's most amusing about this vignette is seeing Ferrell almost burst out laughing a few times; it's nice to know that the comedian known for being able to keep a straight face through even the most outrageous ad-libbing has something of a breaking point.

None other than John Hughes, the '80s comedy legend who wrote the script for this holiday classic, and who created the lovable and wisecracking Kevin, a kid who gets even with some burglars when they try to rob his home.

8. Jack Skellington (Danny Elfman), 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' 1993

You'd think the king of Halloweentown (the name says it all) would be a ghoulish, mean-spirited demon, but the rail-thin Jack Skellington (aka The Pumpkin King) is anything but. Sweet, confident, well-meaning and altogether charming, Jack is a leader in need of inspiration. He gets it when he discovers Christmas Town and tries to bring back some of that holiday cheer back home.

7. Willie (Billy Bob Thornton), 'Bad Santa,' 2003

If you thought Ebenezer Scrooge was a party pooper, meet Willie, as embodied by a caustic and never-better Billy Bob Thornton. Every holiday season, Willie works as a mall Santa -- not to bring joy to children, but to rob the mall on Christmas Eve. Note to children: Stay off this guy’s lap.

6. Ralphie (Peter Billingsley), 'A Christmas Story,' 1983

What's a good Christmas film without an adorable kid in it? Before Macaulay Culkin slayed moviegoers in "Home Alone," cutie pie Peter Billingsley worked his way into the hearts of millions as Ralphie, a young boy out to convince his parents, teachers and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the best gift for him. Good luck with that one, kid.

5. Susan Walker (Natalie Wood), 'Miracle on 34th St.,' 1947

Before the gorgeous and talented Natalie Wood appeared in "Rebel Without a Cause" and "West Side Story," she was best known as the adorable kid at the center of this instant Christmas classic. Wood, as six-year-old Susan Walker, befriends a Macy's store Santa who's put on trial for claiming to be the real Kris Kringle. In return, he gets her a house. Hmm, Santa's never been that generous with us ...

4. Frank Cross (Bill Murray), 'Scrooged,' 1988

Talk about a good bit of casting. In "Scrooged," an updated riff on Charles Dickens' 1843 holiday classic "A Christmas Carol," dry funnyman Bill Murray plays our generation's version of Ebenezer Scrooge, Frank Cross, a cynical and unrepentantly selfish TV executive who gets a visit from three sprits out to teach him a lesson or two.

3. Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase), 'Christmas Vacation,' 1989

You might have forgotten, but back in the '80s, Chase was best known for playing family man Clark Griswold in the hysterical "National Lampoon Vacation" movies. The best of bunch, "Christmas Vacation," finds Griswold on a mission to plan a perfect, good old-fashioned family Christmas. Things don't go quite according to plan for the poor guy.

2. George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart), 'It's a Wonderful Life,' 1946

There's a reason watching "It’s a Wonderful Life" with your family is a Christmas tradition, like eating turkey on Thanksgiving. There's nothing quite like watching a well-meaning sad sack get the sweet redemption he so deserves thanks to the help of a guardian angel. It helps that the man in question, George Bailey, is played by James Stewart. Who doesn’t love some Stewart over the holidays?

1. Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell), 'Elf,' 2003

You knew we'd save the best for last. In what is arguably Will Ferrell's most endearingly hilarious flick, Ferrell plays Buddy, a grown man raised in the North Pole convinced he's one of Santa's little elves. Problem is, he's not. Buddy was adopted by Santa as an infant and brought back to the North Pole to be raised among the elves. When he sets off on a journey to New York City to find his real father, he has a bit of trouble fitting in.

• Dylan McDermott just gets more and more horrific. Say what you will about Will Ferrell, but the guy is willing to take risks. For proof, you need look no further than "Casa de mi Padre," which was done entirely in Spanish. If he thinks something is funny, he does it and lets the chips fall where they may.

All of which is our way of preparing you for this: According to indieWire, "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" is going to be a musical.

Yup. That just happened.

Of course, music is nothing new to the world of "Anchorman;" after all, one of the best known scenes in the 2004 original was the cast coming together for an impromptu rendition of the 1976 pop hit "Afternoon Delight."

But "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" is going to take this a little bit father, according to McKay. In fact, they're so dedicated to the musical aspect, they almost produced "Anchorman 2" as a stage show instead.

"We were going to do 'Anchorman 2' as a Broadway musical first, for like six months and then go shoot the movie. That was our initial idea," McKay said. And while that was eventually scrapped, McKay says "Anchorman 2" will still feature "whole song sequences, absolutely."

"We have some songs already written," he added.

We can't wait to hear the soundtrack for this one.

It's the final stretch of the 2012 election cycle, which means celebrities of all sorts are out banging the drum to get apathetic citizens away from their DVR queue for 5-minutes and go vote.

Perhaps topping all of them is "The Campaign" star Will Ferrell, who made his name impersonating George W. Bush and is now going the extra mile for Barack Obama in a new campaign video for the President.

Wearing a "go big or go home" red blazer in a mahogany-paneled parlor, complete with fireplace and pool table, Ferrell promises he will do anything and everything for us if we go out and vote. Cook dinner? Done. Give you a tattoo? No problemo.

Best of all, we get a little taste of that robust Ron Burgundy mustache the actor is growing for next year's "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." Indeed, Ferrell speaks with the conviction of a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn.

With Ferrell in his corner, how can President Obama lose?

As the 2012 presidential election quickly approaches (tomorrow! eek!), Americans must carefully analyze each candidate's policies and personalities to determine who they want to lead the country for the next four years.

And then there's the funnier — but not any less absurd — election at the center of "The Campaign," a new political satire pitting Will Ferrell's charismatic, gaffe-prone incumbent against Zach Galifianakis's Washington outsider in a North Carolina congressional race.

We're not sure we'd vote for either of these guys in real life, but you know who we would vote for? Yoda. And The Dude. And after "The Avengers," Hulk would most definitely get our endorsement.

So we asked old friend Old Red Jalopy to get the ball rolling and mock up some campaign posters for some of movie favorites.

Will Ferrell is once again appearing in an Old Milwaukee beer commercial, but oddly enough, it's not airing in Wisconsin ... or anywhere else in America, for that matter. Ferrell's new spot is exclusive to Swedish television, but the magic of the Internet allows us to knock a few back — and bust a few moves — with the "Anchorman" star from thousands of miles away.

Overseas commercials are often a lot more ... rambunctious than the ones Stateside, and this one is no exception. It doesn't look like Ferrell gets any of the beer anywhere near his mouth at any point, but he's certainly showing off his impromptu dance skills as only Ron Burgundy himself can (with a healthy assist from the hyperactive editor).

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are about to enter a knock-down, drag-out mudslinging dogfight as they tour the good state of North Carolina during "The Campaign."

The two comedians, both at the top of their game, play rival politicians Cam Brady and Marty Huggins, pulling every dirty trick in the book (and some not in the book) to win a seat in the House of Representatives. Jay Roach of "Austin Powers" and "Meet the Parents" fame directs this uproarious satire that couldn't be more relevant in this election year.

1. Will Ferrell tries to spin a negative into a positive.

2. Honesty is not always the best policy.

3. Ferrell plays "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!: Infant Edition."

4. In a moment of serenity, Ferrell recites the Lord's Prayer... which Lord, exactly, we're not sure.

5. Zach Galifianakis wants to prove to Dermot Mulroney (Dylan McDermott) that he's in it to win it.

6. Will and Zach compete in the Trash Talk Olympics.

Will Ferrell is undeniably one of the funniest guys in movies, but his comedic talent can't just be chalked up to the streaking, news anchoring and spreading Christmas cheer we've seen him do in his most memorable roles. Much of the funny comes from his face, and we've got the photos to prove it.

Ferrell's mug is made of elastic and he can go from wearing a smile a mile-wide to giving that signature Ferrell yell to failing to look suave better than anyone. If silent movies became popular again, we're confident Ferrell would fit in just fine.

Funny Or Die

In their new movie "The Campaign," Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis play congressional candidates Cam Brady and Marty Huggins, respectively, facing off in a heated and hilarious election. Like all political candidates, Brady and Huggins duke it out in a debate.

So did the stars learn anything about the art of argumentation while filming the movie? This new video from Funny Or Die shows that the answer is clearly... no.

Ferrell and Galifianakis appear on the fake public access show "The Debate-thletes" and compete against children in a series of questions about movies. You would think there wasn't a better subject for these stars to tackle, yet their young opponents answer questions about Academy Award-nominated films and Pixar movies with ease, but Ferrell and Galifianakis have some trouble coming up with the right responses. The problem is, they just can't focus, opting to take part in such non-kid-friendly activities as spitting, drinking and drawing a picture of a certain body part.

Here's hoping their "Campaign" characters provide a livelier debate... and these kids aren't scarred for life.

As the cast of "Snow White and the Huntsman" proved a couple of months ago, reading passages from E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" can be a difficult and dubious endeavor. It's hard (ha!) to get the subtle nuances of James' prose just right, and a slightly askew inflection could render one of the hottest things ever written into slapstick comedy.

So you can probably imagine how it goes when Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, stars of the upcoming "The Campaign," attempt to narrate the erotic adventures of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

It's been more than a week since the news broke that Kristen Stewart had a fling with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, but Twi-hards are still reeling from the scandal. And no one is more upset about the Robsten break-up than funnyman Will Ferrell.

Ferrell appeared as a guest on Thursday night's "Conan" visibly upset about something. When Conan O'Brien asked Ferrell why he looked so down, "The Campaign" star couldn't contain himself as he voiced his concern over the recent break-up of the "Twilight Saga" co-stars.

"They were in love, and she just threw it all away! I don't know if there's anything I could've done to have prevented it," Ferrell said glumly on the show.

When O'Brien tried to console his guest, the talk show host definitely got more than he bargained for.

"It's not gonna be fine... ever! What they had was so special, you don't even know! You would never know," Ferrell said, bursting into his signature yell. "She is a trampire!"

You may be surprised at those harsh words for K.Stew, but we can't believe it took someone this long to come up with that pretty ingenious name. Here's hoping you find this video as hilarious as we do, and that Ferrell feels better soon.

We were wondering when Will Ferrell was going to show up to this party.

The "Anchorman" star has officially joined his "Wedding Crashers" pals Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson for the workplace comedy, "The Internship," according to Variety.

"The Internship" follows two laid-off fortysomething salesman (Vaughn and Wilson) who attempt to start new careers at the very bottom of the ladder at a major tech company, where their bosses are half their age. Ferrell is set to make a cameo as Wilson's brother-in-law, who sells home electronics and has no problem making inappropriate comments about his attractive customers.

Sounds like a Will Ferrell kind of cameo in a movie starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, doesn't it? Ferrell is certainly no stranger to making a guest appearance in a Vaughn-Wilson vehicle, having previously played Chazz Reinhold, the mentor to the "Wedding Crashers" who spent a good chunk of his scene yelling after his mother in the other room.

Production on "The Internship," which also co-stars Rose Byrne, Dylan O'Brien and John Goodman, has already commenced under the direction of Shawn Levy ("Date Night," "Real Steel"). Will Ferrell will next be seen in "The Campaign," opening Aug. 10.

We Say: Although the three leads do an excellent job of embodying their original counterparts, this resurrection of the Stooges tries to bring the "nyuk-nyuk" physical humor to a new millennium and winds up being every bit as painful as the trailer suggested. All the frantic slapping, tripping and boing-rattle-rattle sound effects might have been a gas during the Prohibition era and the Depression, but some 90 years later that joke just isn't funny any more.

'Lockout'

We Say: This spirited B-movie is reminiscent of John Carpenter's "Escape from New York" both in terms of plot and its wise-cracking lead tough guy, who channels Kurt Russell's Snake Plissken. Sometimes Snow's one-liners induce groans but Pearce's improvised banter with Grace doesn't miss a beat.

'Get the Gringo'

We Say: Although not released theatrically in the United States, it's exciting to see Mad Mel in a new Thunderdome where traditional laws do not apply and one has to improvise and adapt in order to survive.

'Casa de mi Padre'

Storyline: This Spanish-language comedy stars Will Ferrell as Armando Alvarez, a rancher who has lived and worked on his father's Mexican ranch his entire life but never got any respect from his padre. Instead, it went to Armando's drug-smuggling brother (Diego Luna), who returns home with a new fiancée (Sonia Genesis Rodriguez) and a deadly difference of opinion with the country's most feared drug lord, Onza (Gael Garcia Bernal).

We Say: Although the movie sometimes elicits cheap laughs as it pokes fun at shoddy Mexican dramas, there are long stretches that are played inexplicably straight, which gives this Spanish-flavored comedy experiment a wildly uneven tone.

Guys really love their balls. They love holding them, whacking them and chasing them with glee. And sometimes, men just like to gaze at their balls fondly. Yes, it's hard to get between a dude and a ball if his mind's set on playing with it.

A recently released photo of Michael Fassbender from the highly anticipated sci-fi epic "Prometheus" got us in the mood to explore this (totally wholesome and impossible to misconstrue) subject matter. So to keep you well-rounded on the topic, here's some great moments between man and man's true best friend.

When word first came out that there would be an "Anchorman 2" teaser trailer before showings of "The Dictator" last week, many folks were confused for a simple reason: The movie hasn't been filmed yet. Or written. Or ... anything. So how could they already have a trailer done?

Well, the first teaser has hit the internet and the answer is clear: Put Ron Burgundy and his friends in front of a camera and they will just make s**t up until you laugh.

Now that's a recipe for success.

Burgundy, of course, is noted improvisationalist Will Ferrell, so winging it is hardly anything new. And considering he's once again backed up by the all-star comedic line-up of Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner — not to mention directed by Funny or Die co-founder Adam McKay — the fact that the spur-of-the-moment teaser delivers better than most trailers for completed movies is no surprise.

So here it is, the first look at "Anchorman: The Legend Continues." Just don't expect any of this to be in the actual film.

UPDATE: Ron Burgundy himself has confirmed that a teaser trailer for "Anchorman 2" will be featured before "The Dictator," which will commence with its glorious U.S. screenings on Wednesday, May 16 at 12:01 a.m.

Mr. Burgundy made the announcement via Twitter:

"Don't get Twirter. Anchorman2 teaser w Dictator tom night. Dont know what a teaser is. World is crazy? Having a scotch."

We don't get it either, Ron. And it sure is good to have you back.

Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen are known for pushing the boundaries of what is possible with comedy, so it's only fitting that indieWire is reporting that a a teaser trailer for "Anchorman 2" will air before screenings of "The Dictator" even though "Anchorman 2" hasn't even been written yet, much less filmed.

A joke that literally shatters the space-time continuum? Now that's what we call pushing the boundaries of comedy.

Of course, this is merely a rumor at this point. But multiple sources are indicating that Ferrell has teamed up with "Anchorman 2" co-writer Adam McKay to film a special sneak peek trailer featuring the entire "Anchorman" gang. And the main source of this rumor? Well, McKay himself, naturally.

"See 'The Dictator' (I worked on it and it's crazy funny), in addition to 'Campaign' trailer with Zach and Will there's another treat before it," McKay tweeted earlier today (Zach, of course, is Zach Galifianakis, Ferrell's co-star in the upcoming comedy "Campaign").

So just what will fans get to see in this surprise "Anchorman 2" teaser? That much, at least, is still being kept under wraps. But one thing is clear: Whatever it is, it's going to push the envelope.

Ferrell and Cohen wouldn't have it any other way.

Whether you lean towards the right or the left, you will not be undecided about "The Campaign," which features Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis duking it out in the political arena.

Here's the catch: both of them are dumber than a bag of hammers, as the new trailer (via Buzz Sugar) makes evident with its dueling TV spots for Cam Brady (Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Galifianakis). To give you an idea of how pandering they get, the latter's ad actually features Huggins hugging the Capital Building in D.C.

Also, in a moment straight from the George W. Bush/Dan Quayle school of dumbass, Brady tells a room full of school children that, "Schools is this nation's backbone."

As far as big summer comedies go, the team behind these two candidates is pretty formidable, including Ferrell's longtime Funny or Die partners Adam McKay ("Anchorman") and Chris Henchy, along with "Eastbound & Down" writer Shawn Harwell and "Austin Powers"/"Meet the Parents" director Jay Roach.

In an election year, it's always refreshing to get a down and dirty dueling politicians trying to represent their small North Carolina congressional district in the House of Representatives. Romny and Obama might even get a few pointers.

Will Ferrell has been so many things to his enormous fan base – an elf, a frat boy, the Bitch Hunter – but his latest role may be the craziest yet.

Deadline reports that New Line is in the process of acquiring the rights to "Crazy U: One Dad's Crash Course in Getting His Kid Into College," and that they're looking to Ferrell as their star.

The book, penned by The Weekly Standard's senior editor Andrew Ferguson, details the author's relentless battle to get his son into the right college, including shelling out major cash for a private college consultant, getting his ass kicked by an adult re-take of the SATs, and eventually realizing that despite his insanity, he and his son had become closer than ever throughout the process.

Kevin Misher of Misher Films will produce the movie alongside Jessica Ebaum, Adam McKay and Gary Sanchez.

Ferrell can currently be seen in "Casa de mi Padre," opposite Diego Luna, and stars in political comedy "The Campaign," scheduled for release later this year.

Get ready for a little Spanish 101 with your new instructor, Will Ferrell. The "Step Brothers" funnyman has been hitting the Rosetta Stone software hard so he can deliver "Casa de Mi Padre," a cracking parody of over-the-top telenovelas (latino soap operas). Did we mention he doesn't speak a lick of English for the whole movie?

Ferrell stars as Armando Alvarez, a simple farmhand on his father's ranch who has to defend his home from all manner of evildoers after falling in love with his drug-dealing brother's fiancée, Sonia (Genesis Rodriguez).

1. Diego Luna tries to rationalize his "Scarface"-esque behavior.

2. Watch for a cigarette to appear and disappear through the magic of editing.

3. Somehow the phrase "de nada" has never sounded so enticing.

4. Apparently Will Ferrell came from the part of the gene pool that was drained for cleaning.

6. Nick Offerman of "Parks and Recreation" joins his latest project, "Ranch and Intimidation."

It took a lot of begging and pleading from both producers and the public, but for whatever reason Johnny Depp saw it in his heart to return in one knockout scene in the new film version of "21 Jump Street," based on the hit Fox TV show that made him a star.

To put him in the ranks of some of the greatest movie cameos ever, we're counting down 35 surprise appearances in movies that pleased and shocked us -- and left us wanting more.

35. Jim Parsons, 'The Muppets' (2011)

Walter (Peter Linz) has to decide if he's "Man or Muppet," but during this solemn ballad he sees his human form in the mirror courtesy of the "Big Bang Theory" star. Although it was tunesmith Bret McKenzie who wrote the song, we think that a small chunk of that Academy Award for Best Song should go to Parsons for embodying the most Muppet-y man in the world. 34. Matt Damon, 'EuroTrip' (2004)

High schooler Scott "Scotty" Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) doesn't realize his girlfriend Fiona (Kristin Kreuk) has been having an affair with the lead singer of a college band ... until he sees the skinhead Romeo at a grad party singing at length about the affair. Matt Damon goes hardcore with the monster ballad "Scotty Doesn't Know" by the band Lustra, which actually peaked at #75 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

33. Mark Hamill, 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (2001)

After all the "Star Wars" references scattered throughout the View Askew universe, Kevin Smith finally landed Luke Skywalker himself as a super-villain named Cock-Knocker. The doobie duo of the title dabbles in a lightsaber duel … or is that a bongsaber? The force will be with this cameo, always. Watch it here.

32. Madonna, 'Die Another Day' (2002)

Besides providing a supremely sexy music video and title track to Pierce Brosnan's swan song as James Bond, the Material Girl took up a sword as 007's fencing instructor in a scene pulsing with double entendre. "I see you handle your weapon well," she says. "I have been known to keep my tip up," quips Brosnon. Watch it here.

31. Leonard Nimoy, 'Star Trek' (2009)

The greatest Vulcan of them all passes the torch on to the young usurper Zachary Quinto in the most satisfying way possible for Trekkies ("Thrusters on full"), and makes a dignified exit from the franchise in the process, assuring the shiny new Spock will live long and prosper. Watch it here.

30. Bob Saget, 'Half Baked' (1998)

"I used to suck d**k for coke," says Bob Saget during a rehab scene in Dave Chappelle's stoner comedy, pretty much steamrolling over memories of the family-friendly Saget of "Full House" and "America's Funniest Home Videos." Those who've seen his stand-up since then know that this was just the tip of the raunchy iceberg. Watch it here.

29. Claudia Schiffer, 'Love Actually' (2003)

The German supermodel is the object of widowed Daniel's (Liam Neeson) fantasy, but his dreamgirl becomes a reality when he meets a woman who is the spitting image of her, played by … Claudia Schiffer. She also made a memorable appearance posing suggestively on a billboard in hubby director Matthew Vaughn's film "Kick-Ass."

28. Alice Cooper, 'Wayne's World' (1991)

We're not worthy to bask in the presence of a certified rock god, and neither are Wayne and Garth when they feed Cooper's Frankenstein (i.e., ego) by kissing the man's hand after a kick-ass show. Cooper has also made memorable cameos in "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare" and "John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness." Watch it here.

27. Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito, 'Austin Powers in Goldmember' (2002)

All the "Powers" movies are chock-a-block with surprise guests, but Mike Myers & Co. really went for broke parodying their own creation with the fake movie-within-a-movie "Austinpussy," featuring Cruise as Powers along with Spacey as Dr. Evil, DeVito as a surly Mini Me, and Paltrow as Dixie Normous. The icing on the cake is Steven Spielberg as the director of this meta extravaganza. Watch it here.

26. Lance Armstrong, 'Dodgeball' (2004)

During a crucial defeatist moment for Vince Vaughn's dodgeball coach, seven-time Tour de France winner and cancer survivor Armstrong comes out of the blue to give a much needed inspirational speech. Watch it here.

25. Pamela Anderson, 'Borat' (2006)

The blonde bombshell becomes the guiding light during Sacha Baron Cohen's eventful trip to America, but once he encounters her in real life at a book signing, the former "Baywatch" babe has to run for her life. It's a segment so well played by both of them that many audiences questioned whether or not it was staged.

24. Charlie Sheen, 'Being John Malkovich' (1999)

You know John Malkovich is in deep trouble when he's turning to Charlie Sheen for psychological/spiritual guidance, but that's exactly how it goes down in Spike Jonze's loopy take on fame and extreme voyeurism. A glimpse at a bald, elderly Sheen in a tacky Hawaiian shirt at the end lets us know that there's at least hope that Sheen will keep on "winning" well into his twilight years.

23. Gene Hackman, 'Young Frankenstein' (1974)

Hackman plays Harold, the poor blind old man who asks God for a friend and gets a monster instead in Mel Brooks' classic parody of the Boris Karloff "Frankenstein" pictures. After burning the beast's crotch with soup and other humiliating things, Frankenstein's monster flees out the door with Hackman pleading, "Wait! Where are you going? I was gonna make espresso."

New Line

22. Will Ferrell, 'Wedding Crashers' (2005)

Any movie with more than four weddings needs at least one funeral, and that's where an uncredited Ferrell as Chaz Reinhold comes in. Owen Wilson may be good at taking advantage of euphoric women post-nuptials, but Ferrell is there to comfort the bereaved in true smooth operator fashion. Of course, it turns out he's an ultra-pathetic dude who lives with his mom and watches cartoons all day when not bagging hearse honeys. Watch it here.

21. Bruce Campbell, all three 'Spider-Man' movies (2002-2007)

Campbell served director and childhood pal Sam Raimi well in three "Evil Dead" flicks, so it became a terrific running gag that the Big Chinned One would play a random role in all three blockbuster Spidey flicks. Bruce cropped up as a Wrestling Ring Announcer, a Snooty Usher, and a Maître d’, weaving a web of laughter. Watch it here.

20. Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller and Luke Wilson in 'Anchorman' (2004)

This is the closest we'll ever get to an "Old School" sequel, with Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson together again for a Ron Burgundy brawl. All the rival San Diego news teams flock to a back alley and begin tearing each other to shreds, including a Spanish-language news team led by a mustachioed Ben Stiller, and the public news team headed by a pipe-smoking Tim Robbins. Channel 4 keeps its head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight.

19. Cate Blanchett, 'Hot Fuzz' (2007)

It took the brilliant minds behind "Shaun of the Dead" to get one of the most famously beautiful movie stars in the world and then hide her behind goggles and a safety mask. Blanchett plays Janine, the ex-girlfriend of tightly wound police Sgt. Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg), and their short quibble in the middle of a violent crime scene is extra-subversive once you're aware of the uncredited actress.

18. Christopher Walken, 'True Romance' (1993)

Yes, his cameo with "the watch" in "Pulp Fiction" was memorable, but Walken's other sojourn into Tarantino-ville in "True Romance" is downright electric. He's aided by another infamous screen legend, Dennis Hopper, who shares an insulting anecdote about the origin of Sicilians and winds up giving Vincenzo Coccotti (Walken) a piece of his mind ... splattered all over the wall. "I haven't killed anybody ... [*BANG*] since 1984." Watch it here.

17. Sylvester Stallone, 'Staying Alive' (1983)

It's a neat bit of "now you see me, now you don't" cameo magic when John Travolta's strutting dancer Tony Manero bumps into Stallone on the street, and they lock eyes for a split second. This is the only flick Sly directed but did not star in, so he had to insert himself in there somehow.

16. Bruce Springsteen, 'High Fidelity' (2000)

In one of the greatest fantasy cameos since Woody Allen brought Marshall McLuhan into the movie line in "Annie Hall," John Cusack's music nerd Rob Gordon imagines The Boss giving him love advice while casually strumming a guitar. "That's what you're lookin' for. Getting' ready to start again, it'll be good for you. Give that big final good luck and goodbye to your all-time Top Five." Watch it here.

15. Bruce Willis and Julia Roberts, 'The Player' (1992)

After screenwriters pitch an Oscar-caliber movie entitled "Habeas Corpus" to slick 'n' sleazy studio exec Griffin Mill, insisting it not be toned down with a softball Hollywood happy ending, we cut to one year later -- and that's exactly what happens. Willis saves Roberts from the gas chamber at the last minute, and love conquers all!

14. Samuel L. Jackson, 'Iron Man' (2008)

Though the original Marvel comics iteration of S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Nick Fury was a white dude with salt and pepper hair, the Ultimate universe reinvented Fury as a bald African American chap whose appearance was based on Sam "The Man" Jackson. It seemed only appropriate that Jackson dropped in for a stinger at the end of "Iron Man," the first of several linking crossovers leading to this summer's "Avengers." Watch it here.

13. Eminem, 'Funny People' (2009)

The real Slim Shady sits down with stand-up comic George Simmons (Adam Sandler) after the sad sack comedian beats a deathly illness, and gives him the 411 on why he'd have been better off dead. The peak moment arrives when Mr. Mathers spies Ray Romano staring at him and threatens, "I don't give a f**k what show he's on. I'll f**k this mother***ker up, man!"

12. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 'Airplane!' (1980)

The star basketballer took his patented sky hook to flying the friendly skies masquerading as airline pilot "Roger Murdock," although little Joey (Ross Harris) figures out the ruse pretty quickly. When Joey brings up his father's insults, Kareem grabs the boy by his shirt and yells, "I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes." Watch it here.

11. Huey Lewis, 'Back to the Future' (1985)

Huey Lewis and the News felt "The Power of Love" for this time-traveling classic, but did you know that's Huey lookin' all dweeby at the beginning as the uptight administrator with a megaphone? He's so wound up, he thinks Marty McFly's band is just "too darn loud" to play the high school dance. That's some sad news, Huey.

10. Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Romijn, 'X-Men: First Class' (2011)

Jennifer Lawrence inherited her near-naked take on blue sex goddess Mystique from Rebecca Romijn in this prequel, but since her mutant powers involve shape-shifting, she proves to Magneto she can look any way she wants for him. The movie also earns its single F-bomb with Jackman, as Wolvie, being approached in a bar only to mutter, "Go f**k yourself." Watch it here.

9. Billy Idol, 'The Wedding Singer' (1998)

In a freak circumstance, Adam Sandler's character winds up on a plane with the "White Wedding" singer, who helps him win the heart of Drew Barrymore and vanquish her d-bag boyfriend in the process. Nice! Watch it here.

8. Keith Richards, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' 3 and 4 (2007-2011)

Since Johnny Depp modeled the memorable mannerisms of his Captain Jack Sparrow on Richards, why not have this stone roll in for a day or two in full pirate drag as Sparrow's drunken papa? So far, his appearances in the last few "Caribbean" adventures have been true highlights. Watch them here.

7. Bob Barker, 'Happy Gilmore' (1996)

When unstable ex-hockey player turned golf pro Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) is teamed up with Barker during a celebrity tournament, he winds up falling to pieces in the face of some obnoxious heckling, which leads to an extended fistfight between Gilmore and the game show host. "The price is WRONG, bitch." Watch it here.

6. Brett Favre, 'There's Something About Mary' (1998)

After Ben Stiller's irresistible love interest Cameron Diaz nearly marries the former Green Bay Packer, he decides she's better off with Favre, but a last-second switch-up has Diaz dumping the hero for the zero (that being Stiller).

5. Stan Lee in every Marvel movie, 'Mallrats' (1995)

That's right, true believers, the cocreator of Marvel's mightiest heroes, from "Spider-Man" to "Iron Man," is always "The Man," a good luck charm in each of the comic book adaptations. Think of ol' Stan as the "Where's Waldo" of superheroics. He also inspired Jason Lee during longtime comic book aficionado Kevin Smith's sophomore effort "Mallrats." Excelsior! Watch him here.

4. Tom Cruise, 'Tropic Thunder' (2008)

After his couch-jumping and Scientological antics led to public embarrassment and a tarnished image, Tom Terrific needed a comedy pronto to prove he didn't take himself so seriously. Enter Ben Stiller, who cast Cruise as Les Grossman, a hyperbolic, foul-mouthed chimney of expletives who may or may not have been modeled on real-life producer Scott Rudin. Thanks to some hairy arms and bald noggin courtesy of makeup man Rick Baker, Cruise screamed and danced his way back into the public's good graces.

3. Neil Patrick Harris, all three 'Harold and Kumar' movies (2004-2011)

This is where the road has taken him. Harris started off as Doogie Howser, but wound up a poon hound of epic proportions, popping pills and branding whores all across the country. Not magic mushrooms, getting shot in the back, or even Jesus can stop NPH from being the untameable party animal he is. Watch it here.

2. Mike Tyson, 'The Hangover' (2009)

Iron Mike punched his way back into pop culture relevancy when he punched out Zach Galifianakis faster than you could say "Nintendo." Tyson's few brief scenes became a cornerstone of the marketing campaign for the brotastic comedy smash, and earned him a prominent place in the sequel and any more "Hangover" movies to come. 1. Bill Murray, 'Zombieland' (2009)

Murray is in our estimation the greatest living actor, comedic or otherwise, so it's no duh that he takes the top spot for his movie-stealing appearance as himself, living la vida postapocalyptic in a zombiefied Hollywood. Reuniting with his old bowling buddy Woody Harrelson ("Kingpin") was cool, strapping on the ghostbustin' proton pack was better, but badmouthing his appearance in the woeful "Garfield" movies? Priceless.

Telenovela star Génesis Rodriguez cut her teeth on shows like "Prisionera" and "Doña Bárbara" and went on to parts in "Man on a Ledge" and upcoming films "What to Expect When You're Expecting," "Last Stand" and "Hours." The daughter of the Venezuelan actor and singer José Luis Rodríguez, aka El Puma, Rodriguez is now poised to pounce on stardom in the City of Angels.

Rodriguez stars alongside Will Ferrell, Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal in the Spanish-language comedy "Casa de mi Padre," a telenovela spoof about a simple rancher (Ferrell), his troubled brother (Luna) and a mysterious drug lord known as Onza (Bernal). The bride-to-be must contend with some crazy family dynamics, a budding drug war and her own troubled past.

Rodriguez met up with us in New York City to discuss robots, her love of the NBA, and learning the ways of Arnold Schwarzenegger. And Will Ferrell's butt, because she's a good sport.

What did you take from your work in telenovelas that you brought to "Casa de mi Padre"?
The transition for me was pretty great, because it was kind of giving an homage to everything I once did. It's a beautiful thing to have had this career and I really enjoyed learning and growing as an actor doing telenovelas. The kind of things that served in my advantage was I can cry on the spot. I really know how to do dramatic pauses. I just really know how to be dead serious with ridiculous dialogue. It's kind of what I know how to do best.

You kept a really straight face with all of these crazy scenes. Did you have to give the other actors any tips on how to give a more telenovela-esque vibe?
You would think -- but these guys, they had like these exaggerated, over-the-top characters. I needed to be the one to keep it more real and serious, so they didn't really need much help from me. I kind of had to be the straight guy, and I'm okay with that. They can have the laughs. That's fine. I don't need 'em. I don't need to be funny. [laughs]

It must have been interesting to work with someone who had, what, a second grade-level grasp of Spanish?
That's good enough! That gets you a long way. Absolutely. It gets you a long way. I mean, you can communicate what you need. "Yo quiero la muchacha." You remember that? "I want the girl." That's it.

Who's your acting inspiration? Now that you're moving into all kinds of different roles, who do you look toward as your idol?
I don't have an idol per se. I admire Stella Adler very much, and I work with Marjorie Ballentine, who [worked with] Stella for some time, so the more colors, the better. I just like the fact that I'm allowed to be myself. Latinos are very passionate, and they perform a lot, and look at me, I'm talking with my hands, and this is just my normal self, so it kind of allows me to be who I am and not dumb it down. That's the way that I want to come out here. I kinda like that. Audrey Hepburn -- she knew how to perform! Lots of colors, that one. She performed, you know?

What would you do if you weren't acting? If you could do anything.
If I could do anything, I'd be an engineer of some sort. I used to build robots. I was really great at physics, and really good at taking apart things, putting them back together, figuring out the pneumatics, how things work -- [it] really is fascinating to have an idea in your mind and execute it in a material format … So I have two passions in life. I'm a very nerdy person like that, and then I'm kind of a sports freak.

If this acting thing doesn't work, I'd just put in my resume for NBA.com. I'm a really huge basketball fan … I'll talk all sorts of trash. That's it. I have no game whatsoever, but I'm really good at trash-talking … I live and die for the [Miami] Heat. I bleed the Heat.

What was the first thing you bought with your first Hollywood paycheck?
I hope it wasn't something to do with shoes, because that would be just depressing. I have a weakness, and I just can't walk by a shoe store and not look and not be tempted. It's sickening. It's a sickening disease. You know why? They're so reliable. Feet never change size. They don't squeeze into things, either. They fit or they don't. They're never gonna change on you. They're stable things in life. I like to invest in stable things.

Who is your dream love interest on-screen? Seeing Diego and Gael back on-screen together again --
They're foxy, foxy guys.

In "Y tu Mamá También," I was like, "Now, kiss!" Yeah, so who is your dream love interest, living or dead, on-screen?
It really is a personality thing for me. They could be so good-looking, but if they're just a little bit into themselves, forget about it. I don't even -- nothing.

Is everyone asking you about the Will Ferrell butt scene [a love scene in which there is a lot of butt-groping by the fire]?
Yeah, you wanna talk about it?

If you're not tired of it.
No, no, no. We can talk about it.

Will Ferrell seems to show his butt in everything. Which I don't mind -- I think he's hilarious.
He's so awesome, right? I mean, he's made such incredible characters …

So, you knew -- you were like, "Okay, I know what I'm getting into. He's gonna be wacky and crack me up and show his butt" ...
Definitely. Definitely. Though he was such a gentleman. Any other actor in his place would just have grabbed everything and not asked permission. For sure. They go for it! Oh, you know, they're acting. Quote unquote. They're just grabbing things they're not allowed to, but there's rolling action, they go for it!

Oh my goodness!
But he would ask permission. He was like, "I'm going to put my hand on your shoulder …"

Wait, so that wasn't a body double?
No, there was a body double for the butt, you know? Because I didn't want to be the girl who showed her butt in her first movie, but then in my second movie, I had an underwear scene, so that totally defeated my purpose. [sighs dramatically]

So, what is your role in "What to Expect When You're Expecting"? Are you expecting or expecting to expect or …?
No, I’m supporting … It's a small cameo. I just really wanted to be a part of that movie because everyone's doing it now. Everyone is in an ensemble romantic thing, and I thought it was really cute and light, and it's kind of cool that you could be a leading lady in one and a cameo in another, and that's the kind of career I want to have. I just want to surprise people, and I want to entertain. I don't take myself too seriously, as you can see, and I like to do all kinds of movies. I like to do action. Of course, I want the thought-provoking, challenging roles, but I also want to just entertain people.

Old Milwaukee

Big movie stars are known for doing lucrative commercials in foreign countries, like those Japanese bank ads Brad Pitt and Wes Anderson did. It is, however, very rare to see a star of Will Ferrell's stature shilling on American television.

But there he inexplicably is, in 19 (yes, 19!) 30-second spots promoting Old Milwaukee beer. What kind of big money offer did Pabst Brewing Co. dangle in front of Ferrell to get him pushing their beverage?

Try $0 (zero) dollars.

The Quad-City Times reports that the "Old School" star personally approached the company to write, direct, and star in the ads himself for free, to only be aired in their mid-west shooting locations like Davenport, Iowa and Terre Haute, Indiana.

"Will approached Old Milwaukee because he’s a big fan of the beer and thought it would be fun to make the commercials, and we couldn’t be more excited that he did,” said Pabst chief marketing officer Bryan Crowley.

Was this an elaborate excuse to have some kind of lost weekend-style bender in a low-profile city? Is Ferrell making a tongue-in-cheek commentary about the commercialization of America?

Perhaps, just perhaps, the dude just really likes the smooth, clean taste of an ice cold Old Milwaukee.
