For the upcoming spy pic "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," Swedish director Tomas Alfredson manages to whittle the sprawling John le Carré spy vs. spy novel into a twisty-turny Rubik's Cube of a feature film. Not a small order, considering it was originally made into a seven-part BBC miniseries in 1979.
Packing the running time to capacity with complex examinations of Cold War loyalty and betrayal among an MI6 intelligence agency that's sprung a Russian leak, Alfredson assembled what could be considered an elite guard of English actors to fill just about every part, large or small. According to Heat Vision, these actors include Bob Hoskins (5' 5½") as a blind dwarf named Constantine, Toby Jones (5' 5") as timid dwarf Claudius, and Eddie Izzard (5' 7") as Tiberius, the "biggest and burliest of the crew." Toby Jones Is Some Guy in 'The Hunger Games,' Not President Snow

Hey guys. We're not sure if you've heard about this yet, but the folks over at Lionsgate are currently in the process of making a big budget adaptation of the popular Suzanne Collins novel "The Hunger Games." You might have seen one or two of the casting announcements.
