Disney Sees the Future In 3-D

Last month, Disney gave audiences the chance to fall down the rabbit hole in 3-D from the comfort of their own homes with their "Alice in Wonderland" Blu-ray 3-D release.

Apparently they were happy with the results – the studio announced in a press release today that they are readying at least 15 of their films for in-home viewing on Blu- ray 3-D in 2011.

The obvious titles are the Mouse House's recent theatrical 3-D releases "Tangled" and "TRON: Legacy." But what's most interesting here is the inclusion of some of their 2-D animated classics that are getting their very first 3-D upgrade. Get More »
