Michael Caine Reveals Illicit Affair with Miss Piggy
DVD commentary tracks are really hit or miss. Sure, sometimes you luck out and get one that's kind of fun and interesting, but most of the time, though, it's just some bored star droning on about nothing. All in all, it's no wonder that most people don't even bother listening to the commentary tracks.

Ricky Gervais Will Try to Upstage 'The Muppets'

Hey, if anyone can do it, it might be everyone's favorite former Golden Globes host.
The man who once ran "The Office" is in talks to get things started as the human star of the still-untitled "Muppets" sequel, according to Heat Vision.
The details of Gervais' character, like those of the sequel's plot itself, are being kept under wraps, though it's known that he would be playing a lead role equivalent to that of Jason Segel's in the original "Muppets." There's no word on whether this role will require Gervais to sing, though we can't imagine director James Bobin would allow anything otherwise. Get More »
Ty Burrell Is a 'Muppet' of a Man

Ty Burrell is on the case of another great Muppet caper in the making.
The "Modern Family" star (who certainly possesses Muppet-like attributes, and we mean that in the nicest way possible) has signed on to be one of the human characters in the still-untitled "Muppets" sequel, according to Heat Vision.
The sequel moves the action right along from America to Europe, creating speculation that the film's plot will involve some sort of international intrigue, a la "The Great Muppet Caper" (1981). The theory is further fueled by one of the main human characters being a still-uncast Russian femme fatale ... and an Interpol agent, to be played by Burell. Get More »

Zach Galifianakis, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Manny from "Modern Family" … With cameos from these folks and more, plus stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams, "The Muppets" had star power to spare.
But it was a little felt fella named Walter who may have made the biggest impression in the holiday hit.

New on DVD and Blu-ray: 'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,' 'Muppets' and More
This week: Rooney Mara deservedly earned an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of gothic computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher's English-language remake of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," which co-stars a very un-Bondlike Daniel Craig.
Also new is Kermit's comeback in "The Muppets," Jonah Hill in the comedy "The Sitter," Gary Oldman in the spy thriller "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," and the Blu-ray debut of the violent Japanese phenomenon "Battle Royale." Get More »

With Saint Patrick's Day upon us, we're excited to reflect on the many contributions of the Irish people. And we totally plan on reading "How the Irish Saved Civilization," which we're guessing is about how the Irish stopped a killer comet from crashing into the Earth.
But in the meantime, we're honoring the great people of Ireland (while reaffirming our ceaseless commitment to environmentalism) by listing our nine favorite movie characters who keep it green all year long, not just when it's festively fashionable.
