Ah, Google. The greatest information superhighway, where most of us cruise on the daily, searching for intel only an absurdly complex, fast-acting algorithm can provide (unless you use Bing). We look for recipes, statistics, images, ourselves … pretty much anything and everything.
Google is a judgment-free zone, thus you can ask it whatever you'd like without fear or embarrassment. It's a mostly secret enterprise, as far as your personal search history is concerned. But ever since the search giant introduced the auto-fill drop-down function Google Instant, it's given us delicious insight into what others most commonly seek out around a subject.
Vulture made great use of this last week when it looked at what people most commonly asked about when it came to the Google love-fest "The Internship." It inspired us to look at a broader spectrum of Hollywood, plucking the very best/ most hilarious/ most absurd/ most depressing queries. Really, this list could go on forever ... Get More »
"The Internship" may have had the big names and the big expectations, but it was "The Purge" that received the big payday at the box office this weekend, as the dystopian horror flick shocked expectations by bringing in a whopping $36.4 million according to Film.com.
That was more than enough to overshadow not just Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn's reunion in "The Internship," which debuted in fourth place with $18.1 million, but also returning hits "Fast & Furious 6" ($19.8 million) and "Now You See Me" ($19.5 million).
Next week, of course, will likely be a different story thanks to the debut of "Man of Steel." But for now, "The Purge" reigns.
For a full run down of this weekend's box office top ten, head to Film.com.
For all their talent and good looks, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are no Paul Newman and Robert Redford. While those two struck gold twice in a row with "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969) and "The Sting" (1973), Vaughn and Wilson have followed up "Wedding Crashers" with "The Internship," the kind of film that should serve as grounds for divorce.
But Vaughn & Wilson aren't the only dynamic duo to strike out their second (or third) time at bat. Here are ten winning combinations that couldn't leave well enough alone. Get More »

It's summer, summer, summertime, time to sit back and unwind, as The Fresh Prince once rhymed. Iron Man, Wolverine, Superman and Hit-Girl are suiting up and the AC is pumping as studios trot out their big guns, eager to put butts in the seats with big stars, bigger explosions and lots of numbers after titles.
That's right, nearly a third of our list is sequels, there's even more that didn't make it, and that doesn't even count the reboots and potential franchise-starters in store as we dive headfirst into our glistening pool of summer movie bliss. Get More »
The plot of "The Internship," which was revealed several months ago, mentioned "an Internet company." Now we know that it's, well, the Internet company.
Google indulges in a nice feature-length commercial for itself (and, to be fair, a seemingly sometimes self-deprecating one, too) in "The Internship," the culture clash comedy that reunites frequent co-stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson for the first time since "Wedding Crashers" (2005). Get More »
Man, 2012 was a pretty darn good year for films, right? "The Avengers," "Lincoln," "The Hunger Games," "Silver Linings Playbook," seriously, we could go on and on, as this past year has been one of the best in recent memory.

So with that in mind, we've put together our list of the top 50 Movies We’re All About in 2013. Because last year is just so last year. Get More »
We were wondering when Will Ferrell was going to show up to this party.
If you're an up-and-coming go-getter looking to gain some valuable experience in your chosen profession, one of the best ways to begin your career is by taking on an internship and learning the tricks of the trade first hand from veterans in your field. And that's just as true in the field of movies as it is anywhere else.
Case in point: According to Cinema Blend, "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien has signed on to "The Internship" to learn the ins and outs of Hollywood comedy at the feet of the masters, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.
