See Ohio State Marching Band's Amazing Movie-Themed Halftime Routine

This weekend, while the Ohio State Buckeyes took a halftime break from their utter annihilation of Penn State, the school's marching band decided to pitch in with their own brand of day-ownage as well and performed one helluva movie-themed routine.

Dubbed the "Hollywood Blockbuster" halftime show, these OSU marchers pulled out all the stops to give a little homage to their favorite film franchises, and what's really interesting is that all of their choices are pretty relevant to today's market as well. Get More »

Remember the time Benedict Cumberbatch was a dragon? 5 Things You Will Not See at Comic-Con This Year

Warner Bros. Warner Bros.

In case you haven't already noticed, the list of movie-related items expected to drop at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con event is, to put it mildly, incredibly extensive.

Just about all the major players are pullin' out the stops this year to get that geek street cred on lock ('cause nerds rule, yo!). So, while we're all optimistically jotting down little lists of things to be particularly jazzed about, things are going to be so busy, hectic and ridiculously awesome for just about anyone even remotely involved with the entertainment biz ... well, except for a few people.

Believe it or not, there are some franchises opting out of a day in the sun at America's Finest City ... and some pretty big ones, too. Get More »

Willie Nelson to Peter Jackson: Pass Me That Halfling Leaf

Willie Nelson is famous for two things: Being one of the greatest country musicians ever and being one of the greatest proponents of weed ever. Meanwhile, Gandalf the Grey is also famous for two things: Saving Middle-earth from the evil of Sauron and enjoying the halfling leaf far too much.

So it only makes sense that, as this new video from Team Coco shows, Nelson wants to replace Ian McKellen as Gandalf in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." Get More »
