Are You Ready For 'The Desolation of Smaug?'
Ever since Peter Jackson announced he was finally going to be directing an adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy novel "The Hobbit," fans have been wondering one thing: When are we going to see Smaug?
Well, now we know the answer, as according to Deadline, Warner Bros. and MGM have announced that the second movie of the trilogy is officially going to be titled "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and will hit theaters on December 13, 2013.
