Sure, there were a ton of good looking people at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, but there was one very glaring absence: double nominee Ryan Gosling.

The super-stud was nominated for Best Actor in both the Comedy and Drama categories, but was a no-show on the big night. Thankfully, his "Ides of March" co-star, Globes winner George Clooney, cleared things up in the press room.

Clooney had a few other great quips backstage after his big win — read 'em all at BuzzSugar.
