When going in to see a scary movie, you usually know what you're getting, not just because you've seen the trailer or heard the buzz, but because the posters advertising the movie are completely terrifying.
The poster for the upcoming horror flick "The Last Exorcism Part II" is one of the freakiest, and the sight of Ashley Bell bending backwards (really, really backwards) inspired us to go searching for other posters that are just as creepy as the movies. We've learned that if you want to make someone have nightmares before they even step into the theater, be sure to include eerie children, missing body parts or creepy crawlies on the poster.
We recommend keeping a light on as you flip through these photos.
Ashley Greene had her breakout role in the supporting cast of Cullens in "The Twilight Saga" movies, but we knew it was only a matter of time before this brunette beauty stepped into the spotlight on her own.
Of course, we're celebrating the end of the "Twilight" era by highlighting her other talents — her brilliant brunette locks, flawless bone structure and body to die for — in this week's Hot People Looking Hot gallery.
We like to think we can see the future like Ashley's character Alice Cullen, and we predict we'll be seeing this actress lead movies and magazine covers for a long time. Flip through these photos, and you'll believe in our vision, too.
As "The Twilight Saga" comes to a bittersweet end in just a few short months with "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," Ashley Greene is moving on from the role that made her a household name and into a brand new era.
In the psychological thriller "The Apparition," out this weekend, she plays Kelly, a girl tormented by a supernatural virus that feeds off the fear of its terrified victims. Greene spends ample time screaming throughout the film, and probably wouldn't have minded summoning some of Alice Cullen's vampire superpowers to see the evil lurking ahead.
On the cusp of kicking off the next chapter of her career, Greene sat down with us to answer a few questions about her upcoming projects and what it's like working with someone from that other mega-hit, "Harry Potter." Get More »
Our seven years at Hogwarts are long over and done with, and we're seriously missing our favorite wizards and witches. Sure, the books and movies will always be there, but it's just not the same as having new installments to look forward to, is it? Where's the thrill now that Voldemort is gone and the Boy Who Lived, well, lived? Where are we supposed to get our magical fix now?
Luckily, the actors and actresses behind the wands and invisibility cloaks are still going strong, and we can have fun watching them on screens big and small. We saw Daniel Radcliffe drag us back into the world of the eerie in "The Woman in Black" earlier this year and now Draco Malfoy Tom Felton is getting his creep on with "The Apparition."
In their honor, we've decided to check in on all the Gryffindors, Slytherins, Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs to see just what they're up to, post-Potter. Get More »
The scariest thing that happens during a college lab experiment is usually just getting a failing grade. But in the upcoming horror flick, "The Apparition," the lab results are much, much worse, causing a couple, played by Sebastian Stan and Ashley Greene, to become haunted by a terrifying spirit.
Hopefully you don't suffer the same fate if you're heading to college this fall. And to make sure of that, we've got a giveaway that will get you ready for life on campus. Get More »
Ghosts. Some people believe they are real, while others believe they are just figments of our imagination. Which makes Tom Felton the perfect person to battle them on screen; after all, he's been playing a figment of our imagination for the last ten years in the form of "Harry Potter's" resident bully Draco Malfoy.
And after you get a look at the first trailer for "The Apparition," you may not believe in ghosts, but you'll certainly believe in the power of Felton. Get More »
There are a lot of things to avoid this summer: blistering sun, bug spray, sweating, sunburns, broken air conditioning, puka shell necklaces. Thankfully, heaven can be found indoors, in a movie theater, with functional air conditioning, popcorn and 90+ minutes of pure cinematic bliss.
This summer Hollywood is giving us a lot of "popcorn flicks" to look forward to: a "Spider-Man" reboot, "Men in Black III," a second "G.I. Joe" movie and "Battleship," to name a few. Among all of these big movies are 15 up-and-coming stars who will be heating up the summer. Some of these are people you've seen on TV, and some you've heard on the radio. All of them are quickly on the rise to silver-screen stardom.
There are roughly seven months until our next (and final) Twi-hard fix, with "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" dropping in November. I don't write that to bum you out. It's more of an embrace-the-day statement. Appreciate these seven months of build-up because in all likelihood, these will be your last (unless you've already started obsessing over "The Hunger Games").
That said, let's get excited for summer movies season -- the season that's no longer just about blockbusters and indies that aren't good enough for award season (although it's still mostly that). When it comes to summer films starring "Twilight" actors, we're lucky enough to get two apiece from Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson; and these hot months will also feature appearances from Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene, "Eclipse" alumnus Xavier Samuel and my imaginary girlfriend Anna Kendrick.
