Yes, There Is A God: Andrew Garfield Plays Basketball With Kids In Full Spider-Man Regalia
New York City is currently being bombarded with all sorts of super-heroism, as the cast and crew from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" are in the Big Apple shooting the highly anticipated sequel. Anytime a big movie like this shoots in a city this stuffed with people, there are inevitably interesting encounters between pedestrians and big screen superheroes and villains (like when Jamie Foxx strolled through Times Square in his lightning-blue Electro make-up). And while amateur paparazzi have been capturing moments of impromptu Spider-mania throughout the shoot, nothing has come close to being as heartwarmingly adorable as the footage of Andrew Garfield, dressed head-to-toe in his Spider-Man ensemble, playing a pick-up game of basketball with two little kids. First Look: Paul Giamatti Is The Rhino In 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

"Iron Man 3" and "Man of Steel" might be the superhero names on everyone's lips this summer, but next summer it's going to be a very different scene thanks to "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." But why wait when you can get your first look at the sinister Rhino right now thanks to director Marc Webb himself?
Yes, Webb has just tweeted out the first photo of Paul Giamatti in character as the deadly Aleksei Sytsevich. And he looks... well, pretty pissed off.
Of course, he also doesn't look much like a rhino, as he's not wearing his patented Rhino suit. So will he actually be suiting up in the movie? It's hard to guess. After all, comic fans were already surprised to see that Jamie Foxx's Electro looks more like a member of Blue Man Group than the traditional Marvel Comics supervillain.
So whatever. One thing is sure, though: Giamatti definitely doesn't need a costume to look scary. Save us, Spider-Man!
Nerd Alert! Jamie Foxx Gets Four Eyes for 'Spider-Man 2'
Bye bye, blue birdy.
Perhaps in response to last week's spotting of Jamie Foxx traipsing around Manhattan in his smurfy Electro makeup on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," director Mark Webb has now shared a first-glimpse of the Oscar-winner in his non-alter ego form, as Max Dillon.
Webb broke from his production picture-sharing tradition of generally sticking to behind-the-camera-style nerdery to introduce the pic with the caption, "My name is Max."

No, wait, he hasn't gone Na'vi, that's just his getup as bad guy Electro for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." Superhero Hype spotted Foxx in full makeup last night while the film shot in New York City's Times Square. Get More »
Chris Cooper Is the Green Goblin in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Last summer's superhero reboot "The Amazing Spider-Man" was pretty cool, mostly because of the chemistry between stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, but as much as we love The Lizard, the action scenes were just kind of ho-hum. You know, fighting a big gekko is cool and everything, but we like our Spider-Men to be in a little more danger.
Well, someone at Sony apparently fells the same way, because according to Heat Vision, Oscar winner Chris Cooper has just signed on to play the sinister Norman Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
Look out, Spidey, the Green Goblin is back! Get More »
New 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Costume: 'My What Big Eyes You Have!'
When Sam Raimi held the reins of the "Spider-Man" franchise he basically kept the webslinger's costume consistent, that black gooey alien Symbiote suit notwithstanding.
Of course, any Batman or Iron Man fan will tell you a character's suit usually changes somewhat from movie to movie depending on the whims of the toy company machine. Hence, reboot director Marc Webb has given ComingSoon the first glimpse of Spidey's new duds from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." Get More »

In Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy, James Franco's Harry Osborn was arguably the most complex character. On the one hand, he was Peter's best friend, a good guy with good intentions. On the other hand, also turned eventually into the Green Goblin and tried to totally murderize Petey. You just never knew which way Harry was going to go.
And the same could be said for Franco himself, who has earned a well deserved reputation for sticking his thumb in Hollywood's eye. Case in point: When asked by MTV's Josh Horowitz what he thought of last summer's reboot "The Amazing Spider-Man," his answer was a heartfelt and succinct "Ehhhh." Get More »
'Amazing Spider-Man 2' News: Paul Giamatti Is... The Rhino?!
Pretty much every kid dreams of being a superhero when they grow up, but which superhero is a matter of personal taste. Many kids want to be Batman or Superman, of course, while others imagine themselves as Captain America or Iron Man.
But not Paul Giamatti. No, when Paul Giamatti was a kid, he dreamed of being the somewhat goofy B-list Spider-Man villain The Rhino.
And according to The Hollywood Reporter, that dream is about to come true.
Yes, that's right: Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Giamatti is currently in talks to play The Rhino in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," where he would join an already packed cast that includes Jamie Foxx as Electro and returning cast members Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Get More »
