Coming off her starring role as smitten zombie lover Julie Grigio in the well-received rom-zom-com "Warm Bodies," stunning Australian actress Teresa Palmer is quickly cementing a reputation for being a versatile team-player who can effortlessly hop from sci-fi action films ("I Am Number Four") to lighthearted comedy roles ("Take Me Home Tonight") without a moment’s hesitation. "Love and Honor," a romantic drama that opens today in theaters, showcases her dramatic chops as activist Candace, a supporter of the 1960s counterculture movement amidst the turmoil of the Vietnam War. She co-stars alongside "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, who plays an American soldier who secretly ventures home from the war to reunite with the girlfriend he previously left behind (Aimee Teegarden).
"I just hope people really connect with the movie and that they understand that it’s a beautiful love story," Palmer tells NextMovie about her latest film. "We had a lot of fun doing it. I just hope that it ends up finding an audience."
NextMovie had a chance to chat with Palmer, who was in a car halfway around the world that happened to hit a bit of turbulence right as the conversation began. After overcoming her sudden bout of car trouble, she clued us in on the fun she had working alongside Hemsworth, growing up with kangaroos on her dad's private animal refuge, and what goes through her mind when she's mistaken for another young actress whose name starts with a "K" and ends with "risten Stewart." Hot People Looking Hot: Teresa Palmer Photos
Teresa Palmer suffered an existential crisis as only an extraterrestrial can in "I Am Number Four" and battled croaking vengeance ghosts in "The Grudge 2." After that, a complicated romance with a zombie must seem like a paid vacation.
The Australian-born Palmer brings her formidable talent and gorgeous looks to the role of Julie in "Warm Bodies," a movie that doesn't let a little thing like death get in the way of a, well, sort of healthy relationship. What young man, undead or otherwise, wouldn't lurch and moan for this beauty?

Rob Corddry Spills the Beans (and the Brains) On 'Warm Bodies'
Playing a zombie in a major motion picture like the upcoming undead romcom "Warm Bodies" may seem like a walk in the park — or a shamble in the park, at the very least — but as this new Screen Junkies interview with funny guy Rob Corddry proves, there's a lot more to playing a zombie than just eating brains.
Though he did plenty of that too.
"De Niro, on 'Raging Bull,' would eat a whole chicken. Feathers and all," Corddry said, explaining the inspiration for his extreme method acting. "Every day, I would eat a real human brain."
"Also with feathers," he added. "Because feathers are delicious."

Liam Hemsworth Makes Love, Not War, in 'Love and Honor' Trailer
When it comes to romantic dramas, all too often the drama part is based on some sort of silly problem that has you shouting at the movie screen in the hopes that the main character will stop being a moron. Should he go with his one true love, or, you know, stick with that cushy dogsitting job. Really, c'mon.
Then there's the new trailer for "Love and Honor," which gives Liam Hemsworth's soldier a slightly larger dilemma: Either stay with the love of his life and risk being thrown into prison as a deserter, or return to the horror of frontline combat in Vietnam.
And here you thought Gale had it rough in "The Hunger Games." Get More »
