This just in: U.N. officials announced today that they are going to go ahead and rename our planet "Melissa McCarthy's Earth," because it's becoming increasingly obvious to everyone that this is her world and the rest of us are just living in it.
The latest proof that the breakout star of "Bridesmaids" is on a clear path of world domination? According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema has just pre-emptively snatched up the rights to the new comedy "Tammy," which McCarthy will co-produce from a script she co-wrote.
