Rodriguez & Miller (Finally) Pack Their Bags For 'Sin City'

Here's some news that probably should've hit somewhere around 2006.
Seven (!) years after the release of "Sin City," filmmaking duo Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are ready to officially begin production on what was once the highly anticipated sequel, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For."
"A Dame to Kill For" is one of the better "Sin City" books written and illustrated by Miller (this writer might even say it's the all-time best, next to "That Yellow Bastard"). The story features ex-newspaper photographer turned seedy private investigator Dwight McCarthy (before he received the plastic surgery that made him look like Clive Owen in the first movie) becoming sexually obsessed with an irresistible femme fatale (and former lover), Ava Lord (a role we have a feeling will be offered to some hottie Rodriguez alum like Rose McGowan or Salma Hayek). Robert Rodriguez Will Rock Out With 'Heavy Metal,' More 'Machete'

If there's anyone who can probably get a new "Heavy Metal" movie made, it's Robert Rodriguez.
The "Spy Kids" director surprised everyone at the San Diego Comic-Con with news that his new media company, Quick Draw Productions, would set sail with a new animated anthology of leering adolescent fantasies.
