Nothing can stop Melissa McCarthy, not even one of the biggest blizzards in recent memory, as according to Film.com, McCarthy's new comedy "Identity Thief" pummeled the competition at the box office this weekend to the tune of $36.6 million.
That was more than enough to top the charts, as movie fans on the East Coast stayed home in droves thanks to superstorm Nemo; neither returning champ "Warm Bodies" ($11.5 million) or Channing Tatum's new thriller "Side Effects" ($10 million) were able convince people to brave the blizzard.
For a full run down of the weekend box office top ten, including figures for award season favorites "Silver Linings Playbook," "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Argo," head to Film.com.
Steven Soderbergh has been one of the most prolific filmmakers of all time. He's also one of the most predictable, balancing out big studio projects like "Ocean's Eleven" and Oscar darlings like "Traffic" with low-budget personal experiments like "Bubble" and "The Girlfriend Experience." He's even got a knack for in-between audience-pleasers like "Magic Mike" and "The Informant!"
With a filmography this eclectic, it may be hard to figure out what Steven Soderbergh movie is right for you (if you had to, you know, pick just one). Upon the release of what appears to be his last theatrical film, "Side Effects," we've conjured a handy-dandy flowchart that may help you find that perfect Soderbergh fit.

Jude Law has played a pleasure droid, Kevin Spacey's fiery Southern lover, Errol Flynn, a disfigured (yet still hot) assassin and the object of Matt Damon's obsession. He's also made for the sexiest Dr. Watson of all time, matched wits with Michael Caine and enraged authorities with his blog posts while the world was getting wiped out by a super-flu.
Jude Law has been many men (and droids). And he's looked good every time. Check out our collection of pics of the "Side Effects" star from movies, premieres and film festivals.
