Sir Roger Moore: 'Skyfall' Is the Best Bond Ever

"Skyfall" might have just had the biggest opening weekend of any James Bond film ever, but that doesn't impress us. (OK, it kind of does, but still.)
What really impresses us is the stamp of approval Sir Roger Moore has given the franchise flick. As reported by Vanity Fair, Moore, who played James Bond in seven of the 007 flicks, declared the latest installment to be "the best Bond ever… It really is an amazing movie."

New on DVD and Blu-ray: 'The Avengers' and More

This week: The biggest blockbuster of the year, "The Avengers," is likely to become the best-selling home video of the year as fans can't seem to get enough of Marvel's Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America teaming up to battle Loki and an army of hostile aliens.
Also new this week is the hilariously twisted Danish comedy "Klown," the thriller "Barricade" starring Eric McCormack and a collection of all 22 James Bond films called, simply, "Bond 50."

Oscar Nominee and Former Mrs. Sean Connery, Diane Cliento, Dies

Diane Cliento, the flaxen-haired Australian actress best known for starring in the 1963 hit "Tom Jones," (a role which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress) has died at age 78 after a long battle with illness.
The star was born into a medical family in Mooloolaba, Queensland, in 1933, but picked up and moved to London to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in the 1950s. Her talent and stunning looks added up to success, and she quickly began to land work both on stage and in film.
In 1963, she married Sean Connery and gave birth to their son, Jason, before the couple split about a decade later. Then, in 1985 she married writer Anthony Schaffer, who penned "The Wicker Man," a film in which Cliento also appeared, The Hollywood Reporter recounts. Get More »
