With soccer moms now taking pole dancing aerobics at the Y, it’s safe to say that stripping (not to mention its costumed cousin, burlesque) has seduced mainstream America ... for better or worse.
However, for every relatively whimsical look at the profession ("The Full Monty," "Sin City"), there seems to be at least two darker examinations. In the case of "About Cherry," which has commenced with putting on a show in theaters as of today, sometimes working in a strip club can lead to stripping (and doing other stuff) on a porn set ... and a dubious romance with a coke-addicted lawyer (James Franco).
Still, whether their stories are super-serious or all in good fun, movie strippers certainly provide the eye candy along with a sense of intriguing, unattainable mystery. Here are 15 of our favorite on-screen adult entertainers. Get More »

In honor of Rihanna making a splashy debut in the ocean-bound blockbuster "Battleship," we're locked, loaded and counting down some of the sexiest screen sirens to handle monster weapons.
That's right, we're bringing out the big guns, in more ways than one, as these scorching hot ladies show us a thing or two about proper marksmanship.

A slew of new faces has been added to the cast of Rose McGowan's next project, "Napa." Well, they're familiar faces, but faces nonetheless!
Variety reports that Sean "Samwise Gamgee" Astin will be joining Taryn Manning, Kevin Pollak and Johnathon Schaech in the indie thriller. Manning, who first broke through in "8 Mile," recently starred in "The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll"; Schaech previously shared the screen with McGowan in Gregg Araki's hyper-violent and sexy '95 film "The Doom Generation." Hot chicks with guns. Is there anything sexier?
Yes, of course there is. Lingerie models come to mind. Bikinis. Maybe some sort of naughty teacher scenario. But if you're one of those socially maladjusted guys [raises hand] that can only express your suppressed sexuality through the heroine avatars of your favorite violent video game, then you'll want to check out "Colombiana" (in theaters Aug. 26), starring Zoe Saldana.
And if you absolutely require more ammo-fueled feminism, we've made a list of film's 20 hottest pistol-totin' babes, just for you.

Anyone who thinks a modern reboot of "Conan the Barbarian" is going to be a watered-down, money-grubbing shell of its former self is in for a serious awakening. An awakening filled with the screams of a bulky warrior's sliced and diced victims, to be exact.
The official red band trailer for the remake popped up at IGN and gives a taste for the true mayhem in store. Like an Iron Maiden album cover come to life, director Marcus Nispel's ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Friday the 13th" remakes) vision of the legendary character is chock full of fantastical landscapes, gritty battles and splatters of blood flying in every direction.
The movie looks cheesy as all hell, but when you watch it explode across the screen like a Jackson Pollock nightmare, it's hard to imagine it any other way. Get More »

What is best in life?
"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
It's hard to believe Arnold Schwarzenegger taught us such an important lesson nearly three decades ago in the guise of Robert E. Howard's great literary killing machine, Conan. Those who remember John Milius' original "Conan the Barbarian" recall that, like the current "Game of Thrones," it was pretty light on fantasy elements, more swords than sorcery. Get More »

"Right now I'm really in love with 'A Place in the Sun' because of Elizabeth Taylor.
"Making that film was actually the first time she said she fell in love with acting. She did it with Montgomery Clift, and she had been a child actress, but this movie for her was a new page. She said this movie was the first time she acted from the inside out, and I really think it shows. Her energy and just her passion for the story, it's all there. She was becoming such a force.
"It's definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.
"I'm introducing it at the Turner Classic Movies Film Festival at the end of April and it's an honor. I'll probably cry — I know myself."
Rose McGowan will next be seen in "Conan the Barbarian," which hits theaters this August, and will next star in the thriller "Rosewood Lane."

Like his sometimes-partner in crime, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez loves his leading ladies powerful, in control, and hot to the touch. In his latest B-movie homage "Machete," Rodriguez serves up not one but three badass babes (Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Lindsay Lohan).
Since first breaking out onto the scene will his tiny-budget debut, "El Mariachi," in which Consuelo Gomez starred as sexy bar owner Domino, Rodriguez has remained enamored with his flaming femmes. Get More »
