See Tween-Aged J. Law In a Long Lost Movie

If you're as obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence's movie history as we are, having even sloughed through "House At the End of the Street" for a show of sturdy-nerdy support (cough cough), then you'll be quite happy to know that all that attentive fandemonium is paying off. A dusty and long-forgotten early movie of hers has now been resurrected from its deep shelf grave just in time for "The Hunger Games" tributes the world over to get a peek at it before she returns to the big screen this fall.

Yep, J.Law's long-lost film "The Devil You Know," featuring Lena Olin and Rosamund Pike much more prominently than the then-future Oscar winner (who was just 15 at the time of filming), will finally receive an audience after a half dozen years in limbo. Get More »

Q&A: Rosamund Pike Likes 'Jack Reacher,' Loves Tom Cruise

Rosamund Pike is more than just a pretty face, though she certainly has that going for her, too. The British beauty has cooked up an impressive resume peppered with everything from action adventures like "Die Another Day" to period dramas like "Pride and Prejudice."

"Jack Reacher," however, launches Pike into new places — like Tom Cruise's bedroom. Well, sorta. In this action thriller, Pike plays Helen, a well-heeled attorney who likes to cross her "T"s and dot her "I"s, while Mr. Cruise takes on the titular role as an ex-military vigilante who takes the law into his own hands … and only owns one shirt, which seems to get wet a lot. All of the week's hot casting news in one fell swoop ...

• We wouldn't mind getting snowed in with this trio! The Hollywood Reporter calls for stormy weather as "Project X" star Miles Teller will star opposite Analeigh Tipton and Jessica Szohr in "Two Night Stand," a romantic indie that centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who awaken after an ill-advised one-night stand to find themselves snowed in by a blizzard that’s put all of Manhattan on ice.

• After playing a victim in "Straw Dogs," Kate Bosworth is looking to be the rabble-rouser this time around. David Oyelowo is taking aim.

The "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" star seems to have survived the little incident that occurred on the Golden Gate Bridge earlier this summer as he's signed on to join Tom Crusie in the new thriller, "One Shot," according to Variety.

"One Shot" is based on a novel by Lee Child, one of many in a series about Jack Reacher (Cruise), a former military policeman turned eccentric drifter/soldier-for-hire. "One Shot" finds Reacher investigating a case in which a sniper is accused of killing five people. Get More »

British beauty Rosamund Pike is about to steal Tom Cruise's heart… or something like that.

The "Wrath of the Titans" siren is in negotiations for the female lead opposite Mr. Cruise in "One Shot," Christopher McQuarrie's upcoming adaptation of Lee Child's bestselling novel series.

This first installment of the franchise finds Jack Reacher (Cruise), the retired military policeman who wanders the country with nothing but his passport, bankbook and the clothes on his back, investigating a case in which a lone sniper murders five victims before being captured — only Reacher soon discovers things may not be as they seem. Release the Kraken!

The mythical monster may now have a new victim, as Rosamund Pike is in talks to take over the role of Andromeda in the "Clash of the Titans" sequel, according to Heat Vision.

Pike would be filling in for Alexa Davalos, who played the role of the princess who almost ended up as a human sacrifice for a giant multi-armed lizard-thing in the 2010 film (which was itself a remake of the 1981 original).

Sure, that lizard-thing was ultimately turned to stone via the gaze of Medusa.  But if Andromeda can be recast, can't the Kraken also be resurrected? Just saying. Get More »
