You'll Get A 'Rush' Out of Chris Hemsworth's New Trailer
From the moment "Thor" hit theaters two years ago, Chris Hemsworth has been a bona fide Hollywood superstar. He's made one action blockbuster after another, with "The Avengers" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" hitting theaters back to back. He's even participated in an instant cult classic with "The Cabin in the Woods." But there's still one question some fans and critics have: Can the guy actually, you know ... act?
Well, it looks like we're about to find out, because the first international trailer for his upcoming racing drama "Rush" has just arrived courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. And if director Ron Howard has anything to say about it, this is the film that's going to turn Hemsworth from action star into star, period. Get More »
'The Dark Tower' Gets Rebuilt
Stephen King has been working on "The Dark Tower" in one form or another for over 40 years now, so fans of the series have learned to be pretty patient when it comes to the adventures of the gunslinger Roland and his companions.
And now it appears as though that patience may be paying off, as Empire is reporting that Ron Howard's epic film adaptation of "The Dark Tower" has just been given a second lease on life.
Here's hoping it doesn't take another four decades to work out the details. Get More »

Olivia Wilde Gets in the Fast Lane For 'Rush'
Olivia Wilde has built much of her mystique on the premise that nothing fuels desire like the unattainable – particularly when the something in question is an attractive married woman.
Deadline reports that the recently divorced actress has landed a part that plays on just that theme, beating out a long line of hopefuls for the role of '70s supermodel Suzy Miller in Ron Howard's 'Rush.'
The movie tells the story of the intensely competitive relationship between Formula One drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda, as well as Hunt's equally complex, yet far more scandalous relationship with Miller. Get More »

GALLERY: Bryce Dallas Howard Brings the Beauty to 'The Help'
In "The Help," Bryce Dallas Howard plays a prim, insincere society woman who's more or less a racist (ahem) witch. In "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," she was Victoria, a vampire hell-bent on killing Bella and an overall (ahem) witch.
Thankfully, in real life, the actress appears to be a ray of sunshine. In fact, with her gorgeous red hair and bright smile, she's worthy of her very own Hot People Looking Hot gallery.
How's that for proof this beauty's no witch?
'The Dark Tower' Collapses
The bigger the dream, the harsher the wake-up call.
That's the lesson Ron Howard, Akiva Goldsmith and fans of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" are learning today, as Deadline is reporting that Universal Studios has just put the kibosh on the huge and hugely ambitious adaptation of the wildly popular sci-fi series of novels.
Looks like Roland's quest to reach the Dark Tower is going to drag on a little bit longer after all. Get More »
Chris Hemsworth Will Feel the 'Rush' of Auto Racing
Thor doesn't need a horse. He needs a race car!
Chris Hemsworth has found himself a detour on the road to the "Thor" sequel, as he's in talks to play the lead role in "Rush," according to Deadline.
"Rush" tells the story of British Formula One driver James Hunt and his rivalry with Niki Lauda for Formula One supremacy during the 1970s. The film is set to be the next directorial effort of Ron Howard.
This new "Rush" should not be confused with the old "Rush," the 1991 thriller in which undercover narcs played by Jason Patric and Jennifer Jason Leigh get a little too close to their work.
If all goes according to plan, "Rush" will go into production early next year before Hemsworth begins work on "Thor 2," which is slated for a July 26, 2013 release. Get More »
