"Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch is ready for the big leagues with his villainous turn in "Star Trek Into Darkness," director J.J. Abrams' follow-up to his beam-me-up-and-then-some 2009 reboot. And this is only the beginning, as the handsome British thespian has featured roles in such high-profile upcoming films as "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" (as Smaug himself), "August: Osage County" and Guillermo del Toro's "Crimson Peak."
