Are you ready to feel "The Heat"? You bet your ass you are.

MTV's Sneak Peek Week continued Thursday night as Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig  introduced an exclusive clip from this summer's buddy action comedy, "The Heat."

The clip from "The Heat" shows McCarthy and her not-so-trusted partner, played by Sandra Bullock, looking for a lead in a drug investigation — and like any good movie cops, they have to stick a guy out the window to get the goods. Unfortunately, the duo's arm strength isn't enough to pull the source back over the fire escape. Get More »

Box office prognosticators were worried about "Bridesmaids" before it landed in theaters this summer. Would people pay to see a female-driven comedy in theaters? Now that the movie is two months in to its theatrical run, the answer is clear: Hell yes.

Based on its current path of success, "Bridesmaids" will be raking in enough cash that, by Wednesday, the movie will surpass "Knocked Up" as the highest-grossing movie in mega-producer Judd Apatow's career. That's big news for a movie that few thought could make back its budget back in May. Get More »
