Doing an animated film must be an absolute blast for an actor. Show up in your pajamas. No time in hair and makeup. Don't shave your fu manchu. All that the film's producers need is your voice — your sweet, golden, $20-million-a-picture pipes.

For some actors, however, that's a problem. It's no one's fault; in fact, it's often a testament to their on-screen success with other endeavors. But there are a certain group of thespians whose voices are just too damn distinct to hide behind a cartoon character. They might deliver a fine performance, but it just doesn't quite work because we all know their voice so well.

In honor of the fact that I've been in the same room where the ad for "The Croods" has played five-plus times now and said, "Oh, that's clearly Nicolas Cage" long before I even turned my head to the television, here are nine attempts at vocal acting that were sadly derailed before they left the station.

Jerry Seinfeld, 'Bee Movie' (2007)

Put it this way with Seinfeld and his 2007 effort, "Bee Movie": I went to YouTube, searched "bee movie scene," clicked on the top video (embedded above), was briefly distracted for a minute by another window and for a split second my brain thought I had left open a scene from "Seinfeld" (the series, named after the person). Again, this isn't necessarily Jerry's fault — it's just that everyone and their mother and their mother's friend Diane from Book Club has an impersonation of Jerry Seinfeld, usually something about questioning what the deal is with airplane food. Sorry, Jer. "That's fine, I have 500 million dollars." Oh. Right.

George Clooney, 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' (2009)

George Clooney does not alter his voice at all for "Fantastic Mr. Fox." It becomes a problem, because it's George Clooney, and so you're watching an animated fox spout witticisms and alternating between laughing at an animated fox spout witticisms and thinking about Danny Ocean having a fox for a wife. The above clip was presumably put on the internet for laughs re: the contrast between the civilized nature of the George Clooney-fox and how voraciously he eats, but it's way more noteworthy for being equally useful for people with crushes on Clooney to close their eyes and pretend they're married to him.

Sofia Vergara, 'Happy Feet Two' (2011)

The Sofia Vergara paragraph is to be read with the following disclaimer: Sofia can and should do whatever she wants. Everyone agrees that she has a fun, happy, super hot voice. It's just ... how many Colombian-American penguins are there, exactly? Listen, maybe there are a ton. I've never been to Antarctica. Maybe it's just swarming with Colombian-American penguins. But you watch "Happy Feet Two," say "Oh, hi Sofia Vergara," head to Google Image on your phone and 15 minutes later you have no idea what's going on in the movie. (Then you watch for another minute and figure it out, because it's "Happy Feet Two.")

Ray Romano, 'Ice Age' (2002)

They've now made like 17 "Ice Age"s, and the above scene happens to be from "Ice Age: Continental Drift," which I believe was the 86th installment of the series, so it's not like Ray Romano's Ray Romano voice has negatively affected the results at the box office. (In fact, there might need to be some sort of analysis by our cult blood brothers over at Film.com about whether or not overt knowledge of the actor doing the voice of the protagonist in a cartoon positively correlates to box office success. Or, you know, maybe not.) Still, it's hard to watch the wooly mammoth and not feel like he was somehow brought up in Queens. Sorry, Ray. "That's fine, I have 500 million dollars." Oh. Right.

Woody Allen, 'Antz' (1998)

The character Woody Allen voices in "Antz" was written (per the IMDb log line) as "neurotic," and I think we can all agree that there's no better choice for straight-up neurosis than Soon-yi's husband. But I have to think the animators spent many a frustratingly late night drawing around Woody's many vocal ticks after he was in studio voicing the character of "Z." Side note: Is anyone kind of attracted to the female ant in the above clip? Does she do it for anyone else out there? No, ew, I mean me neither I was just wondering if there were any sick people reading this all of you are sick, ugh, let's move on.

Ellen DeGeneres, 'Finding Nemo' (2003)

Here's the difference between someone like Fran Drescher, and someone a little bit more subtle, like Ellen DeGeneres: Drescher makes her entire career off of her voice. She's not a particularly talented actress, she's not a supermodel, she's not an action star or anything, she just has her super obnoxious voice, and it's made her millions of dollars, which, great. DeGeneres' voice in "Finding Nemo" isn't so distinct that it takes away from the story, of course, but there are indeed some Ellen-y moments throughout the film that are at least mildly distracting, like the scene embedded above. So this list almost revolves around the apex of a bell curve, of sorts. It's not you, Ellen, it's us.

James Gandolfini, 'Where the Wild Things Are' (2009)

It's hard, because James Gandolfini is so associated with the Tony Soprano character that you're half-expecting Carol the Monster (his character in "Where the Wild Things Are") to just break at any moment and call Max a "piece of f***ing s***" or a "f***ing rat f***" or something, which kind of would have been awesome, but that's neither here nor there. Again, not his fault, and I almost feel bad for writing it, but it's the way it is. A clever fellow on YouTube even mashed up Tony Soprano lines with Carol the Monster's mouth movements, and it fits like a glove that you might wear if you're about to secretly kill a f***ing rat f***.

Owen Wilson, 'Cars' (2006)

Owen Wilson is a classic case where spending ten years charming the f**k out of moviegoers with his down-home southern accent and charisma means he couldn't just throw his everyday voice into a protagonist cartoon character in "Cars" (or anything else) without everyone naturally wondering the whereabouts of a certain shaggy blonde-haired fellow. Had he just made his voice a touch deeper or higher, or maybe added a little twang, who knows? Note the above clip: "Okay, you got me out here, where we goin'?" Owen, come on, you know exactly where you're going: into America's heart. (Aw.)

Robert De Niro, 'Shark Tale' (2004)

You can almost hear Will Smith calling De Niro during pre-production for "Shark Tale" to pitch him his character, and De Niro squinting his eyes and his mouth, maybe feeling his chin a bit and finally shrugging and replying, "Yeah, sure, okay. Okay." "Shark Tale," however, must be given credit for doing it the right way: it embraced De Niro as the mob boss shark and pretty much drew their best version of a shark if that shark were actually Robert De Niro. Note the above four-second clip: no voice, but whose face is that? Well done, "Shark Tale" producers. You done good. That four-second clip, I mean, not the movie.

The plot of "The Internship," which was revealed several months ago, mentioned "an Internet company." Now we know that it's, well, the Internet company.

Google indulges in a nice feature-length commercial for itself (and, to be fair, a seemingly sometimes self-deprecating one, too) in "The Internship," the culture clash comedy that reunites frequent co-stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson for the first time since "Wedding Crashers" (2005).

"The Internship" features Vince and Owen as two middle-aged and old-school salesmen who suddenly find themselves unemployed. In a last-chance act of desperation, they apply for internships at Google, where both their advanced age and distinct lack of tech savviness work against them in the most obvious and unimaginative ways possible.

The film looks like a mess, starting with the tired premise and extending to the way overly art-directed Google campus, which is made to look like the 21st century version of "Romper Room." You also have to be wary of comedies where a bald academic in a wheelchair is referred to as "Professor Xavier" ... and comedies with trailers that abruptly end as a cover-up for a character that's about to say a bad word.

Unfortunately, Rose Byrne also stars in this, and she appears in the trailer for only a few frames. The "Bridesmaids" beauty certainly deserves better on both counts.

Writhe and cringe at the lame shenanigans below. "The Internship" opens June 7.

If you're an up-and-coming go-getter looking to gain some valuable experience in your chosen profession, one of the best ways to begin your career is by taking on an internship and learning the tricks of the trade first hand from veterans in your field. And that's just as true in the field of movies as it is anywhere else.

Case in point: According to Cinema Blend, "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien has signed on to "The Internship" to learn the ins and outs of Hollywood comedy at the feet of the masters, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.

Wonder how many weddings they're going to make him crash?

Here's the dilly: Wilson and Vaughn, who of course struck box office gold together with 2005's "Wedding Crashers," are reuniting to play two very different dudes who are down on their luck in today's crappy economy. So they hatch a cunning plan and sign on as the world's oldest interns at a big tech company. Smart, right?

Naturally, the youngsters who usually get those internships aren't quite so enamored with this plan. And that's where O'Brien, star of MTV's hit series "Teen Wolf, "comes in, as he will play a rival intern looking to score the same gig as Wilson and Vaughn.

So will Wilson and Vaughn use their canny know-how to outfox O'Brien? Or will the "Teen Wolf" bare his fangs? Either way one thing is certain: With "The Internship" set to begin shooting next week, school is in session and we're all about to learn a lesson in laughter.

You could call these cases of sibling rivalry being played out on the big screen a real family affair, along the lines of "Mom always liked you best."

We've come up with a list of top actors who have competing brothers or sisters. Vote on your favorites of each brother-brother, brother-sister or sister-sister pairing -- and may the best siblings win.

Luke Wilson: This Wilson brother has had a vibrant career since the mid-'90s, when he hooked up with Wes Anderson for "Bottle Rocket." He's known and loved for comedies like "Legally Blonde" and "Charlie's Angels," but occasionally takes a turn into darker filmic territory like "3:10 to Yuma."
Owen Wilson: Starring in Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" last year took him up a few notches from the lovable goofballs he plays in popular movies like "Wedding Crashers" and "You, Me and Dupree." He's also a writer and was Oscar-nominated for his screenplay "The Royal Tenenbaums," costarring brother Luke.

Jake Gyllenhaal: His good looks and expressive blue eyes mixed with male sensitivity make him an object of affection for both sexes. Yes, he'll always be known for being Heath Ledger's honey in "Brokeback Mountain" and Jennifer Aniston's in "The Good Girl," but Gyllenhaal's quirky repertoire is all over the genre map.
Maggie Gyllenhaal: She played Jake's sister in "Donnie Darko" and has forged her own on-screen identity with films like the acclaimed "Secretary," her breakout 2002 cult hit. Her offbeat beauty and talent has scored her many fans, including her fellow double-voweled acting colleague, Peter Sarsgaard, to whom she's married.

He scored his first role in 2002 as King Arthur in a TV show.
Liam Hemsworth: Despite his recent role in "The Hunger Games," this handsome Hemsworth is almost as well known for dating Miley Cyrus, whom he met on the set of "The Last Song." He's only been acting since 2007, when he appeared in several short-lived TV series.

She's had some feature film play in "Cold Mountain" and "The Alamo," but TV is what keeps her busy.

Zooey Deschanel: Her "adorkable" character on the freshman hit comedy series "New Girl" has already spawned an SNL spoof and her own iPhone commercial. This Deschanel started acting in 1998 and broke out big in the offbeat 2009 rom-com, "(500) Days of Summer." Many remember her as Will Ferrell's love interest in "Elf" or the sister from "Almost Famous." Both she and sis Em shoot their shows on the Fox lot in L.A.

James Franco: Although his Oscar cohosting gig last year with Anne Hathaway was considered a bust, Franco has a lot to fall back on. He’s somewhat of a renaissance man, teaching at NYU. He was a natural to play James Dean in a TV movie -- and Harry Osborn in the three "Spider-Man" movies. Among his accolades are a stoner of the year award for "Pineapple Express."

Casey Affleck: Ben was his benefactor at the beginning, going back to "Good Will Hunting" and continuing through "The Town," but Casey’s made his own name in films including "Tower Heist" and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford." Emmy voters were continually impressed, showering him with three nominations for the role during the HBO comedy's eight seasons.
Matt Dillon: He came to prominence in 1983 with "Rumble Fish" and "The Outsiders" and has rarely left the spotlight since. Ralph Fiennes: Veering from his awards-worthy turns as a Nazi ("Schindler’s List") and an evil dark lord ("Harry Potter"), this Fiennes has also logged much screen time as a love interest ("The English Patient"). Elizabeth Olsen: Three years younger, this member of the family won accolades for her breakout role in Fox Searchlight's "Martha Marcy May Marlene," along with tons of good press for just being an Olsen sister trying not to play on her family connections.
Owen Wilson doesn't find it very funny anymore.

The "Midnight in Paris" star is preparing to shift into action mode for the first time in over ten years as he's set to stage "The Coup," according to Deadline.

"The Coup" centers on an American family in Southeast Asia that becomes embroiled in a violent rebel attack. Wilson plays a father in the film that reportedly has a similar tone to the Liam Neeson kidnapping thriller, "Taken."

Owen Wilson's last action film (unless you count "Cars 2") was "Behind Enemy Lines," the 2001 war drama in which he played a Navy navigator who must traverse hostile territory when he's shot down in the area mentioned in the title. The film also starred Gene Hackman, who also co-starred with Wilson later that same year in Wes Anderson's "The Royal Tenenbaums."

"The Coup" is set to be directed by John Erick Dowdle, who previously directed the M. Night Shyamalan-produced "Devil," the 2010 M. Night Shyamalan-produced horror flick in which passengers trapped in an elevator start getting killed off one by one by Satan himself (or something). Dowdle co-wrote the "Coup" script with his brother, Drew Dowdle.

"The Coup" will commence with production sometime in October, after Owen Wilson wraps "The Internship" with Vince Vaughn and "Admission" with Tina Fey.

Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn took comedic chemistry to new heights in 2005's blockbuster "Wedding Crashers." Between Vaughn's motormouth riffs and Wilson's unbeatable enthusiasm, we expected these giants to be onscreen best buds for years to come.

Seven years later, they're finally taking the plunge, as Deadline reports the two will reunite for a promising high concept laugher called "The Internship."

Directed by Shawn Levy ("Night at the Museum," "Real Steel"), the film follows Vaughn and Wilson as "two old school salesmen who find themselves suddenly unemployed and unschooled in the digital world who try to reinvent themselves by becoming interns at a major tech company."

The duo were expected to get together again back in 2007 for the Mexico-set satire "Outsourced," but dropped out months before production.

In the years since "Wedding Crashers," both Vaughn and Wilson have had uneven careers. Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" was an unexpected smash for Wilson while "Marley & Me" won audiences over with puppy dog charm, but actual dogs like "How Do You Know" and "The Big Year" took the wind out of his sails. Vaughn's "Four Christmases" and "Couples Retreat" were modest hits before he experienced a "Dilemma" at the box office.

Much like their crasher characters, maybe these two have realized how much their friendship means to each other (and audiences).

When you think "Mad Men," you think about expensive suits and martini lunches, not Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis — but that all may be about to change.

Matthew Weiner, the man who brought us Don Draper (swoon), has finally gotten the wheels turning on his passion project, "You Are Here," an indie film about two guys who need to get their lives together after one takes over a hefty inheritance following his father's passing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The initial story details that came out in 2010 (when different actors were attached to star) could raise an eyebrow or two for those who know Weiner primarily through his work on "Man Men" and "The Sopranos." According to Pajiba, "It's about two roommates in their 30s, preoccupied with dodging the responsibilities and rigors of adult life. That is, until the sudden death of one of the men's fathers, which makes his unstable son the new owner of a general store, a country home and millions of dollars worth of Amish farmland."

Wilson is set to star as a horndoggin' weatherman, while Galifianakis will play the son, "an unemployable, paranoid, pot-head."

Amy Poehler is currently in talks to possibly costar, although it's not clear if she'll be playing the cute young widow or jealous older sister. One might hazard a guess that Wilson's character gets some sort of romantic comeuppance from the older sister and Galifianakis will entertain the notion of snogging his mother-in-law.

Of course, projects change over the years so it's possible that some tweaks have been made to this idea since it was initially reported; Variety mentions a road trip, for instance. Only the weatherman knows which way the wind blows — unless he's being played by Owen Wilson, it seems.

In any case, "Mad Men" fans can rest easy now that the new season has started and Weiner can get started on this kooky-sounding little flick. It's a win-win, or a Wein-Wein, as the case may be.

If you need proof that the world can sometimes actually be kind of awesome, try this on: Owen Wilson may be starring in a new movie opposite Tina Fey.

We love Owen Wilson. "Midnight in Paris." "Marley and Me." "A Night at the Museum." Heck, we even saw "The Big Year" twice. So if Wilson is in a movie, we're pretty much there, regardless of the details.

But sometimes we get a little bit of Wilson news that kicks the excitement up a couple of notches -- and this is one of those times, as New York Magazine is reporting that Wilson is in talks to star opposite Tina Fey in the upcoming film "Admission."

World, you're awesome.

Of course, nothing is set in stone yet, so expectations should be held in check for the time being. But the signs look promising, as Fey has been circling "Admission" -- which is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz -- for a couple of months now.

What exactly she and director Paul Weitz ("American Pie," "About a Boy") have been talking about we're not sure, but based on this latest news we're guessing it might have been the choice of leading actor to appear alongside her in this story of a college admissions director whose latest batch of applicants dredges up secrets from her past.

And frankly, we couldn't think of a better match for Fey's patented wit than Wilson's easygoing charm, especially since he would be playing a teacher who is also a love interest. Seriously, we had a dream about that once.

A dream that may be coming true. Rock on.

NextMovie has exclusively learned that Robin Wright (she of "The Princess Bride" and, most recently, "Moneyball" and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" fame) will join the already impressive roster of presenters at the 17th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. The Tinseltown love-fest will broadcast live on VH1 from the Hollywood Palladium on January 12 at 8:00 PM ET/ PT.

Other presenters include George Clooney (who will bestow the Joel Siegel Award on Robin Wright's ex Sean Penn) as well as Melissa McCarthy, Owen Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Kruger, Paul Rudd, Vin Diesel, Mindy Kaling, Ben Kingsley, Elizabeth Olsen, Patton Oswalt, Maya Rudolph, Jason Segel and Donald Glover.

In other words, there's a whole lot of A-listers up in here.

Oh, and in case that's not enough to get you to tune in, Leonardo DiCaprio and Olivia Harrison will present "Hugo" director and living legend Martin Scorsese with the Critics' Choice Music+Film Award—and there will be a special musical tribute from Bob Dylan. Yes, the Bob Dylan.

Hosted by funnymen Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel, the Critics' Choice Movie Awards honor the finest in cinematic achievement. And with that list of names attached we're pretty sure it will be one killer afterparty… no broadcast though for that.

Do you know someone -- or perhaps you are someone -- who seems out of step with the current time because he or she deeply romanticizes another era in which they never lived? In Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," Gil Pender (Owen Wilson) is that person, and the era he loves is Paris in the 1920s.

"Midnight in Paris" opens with some gorgeous shots of the City of Light where Gil is vacationing with his fiancée, Inez (Rachel McAdams), and her right-wing parents. Gil is a successful Hollywood screenwriter who dreams of finishing his first novel -- about a nostalgia-shop owner -- in Paris, where many of his literary heroes worked and played.

Inez constantly belittles Gil and babbles about wanting a house in Malibu when she's not running off with her pretentious friends. You can't imagine why the gentle-natured Gil would be engaged to this vapid (pardon our French) bitch with overbearing parents, which is why Gil is often left on his vacation wandering the streets of Paris alone.

At midnight, after getting lost on a side street, Gil is approached by a bunch of boisterous partygoers wearing vintage clothing and being driven around in an antique car. Gil joins them and arrives at a party where he meets Zelda (Alison Pill) and F. Scott Fitzgerald (Tom Hiddleston), who introduce Gil to Ernest Hemingway (Corey Stoll). Gil can't believe that he has somehow time-traveled to his dream era, and seizes the opportunity by asking Gertrude Stein (Kathy Bates) to critique his novel. As soon as he leaves the bar, it is 2010 again, but Gil returns to the same side street at midnight the next night and waits to be whisked back to the roaring '20s.

Also Check Out: Woody-Worthy Women

While he is sharing cocktails and stories with Picasso (Marcial Di Fonzi), Salvador Dali (Adrien Brody) and Luis Buñuel (Adrien de Van), Gil develops a strong attraction to Picasso's mistress, Adriana (Marion Cotillard). Adriana represents everything that he wishes he could find in Inez back in 2010, but he is surprised that Adriana doesn't share his affinity for the '20s and wishes she were living during the Renaissance. Gil returns to the present with a new sense of appreciation for living in the moment and a desire to find a kindred soul to walk with along the Seine and enjoy the beautiful city in the rain.

"Midnight in Paris" is Allen's most financially successful film, and one that all hopeless and hopeful romantics will want to spend the night with. The fantastical premise isn't remotely plausible even if time travel were possible, but that, of course, isn't the point. All the signature Allen trademarks are here, including neurotic characters yammering and talking over each other, and a lead character with a good heart who suffers fools with unjustified grace. Wilson is lovable as the wide-eyed idealist, McAdams expertly channels her caustic "Mean Girls' character all grown up, and the supporting cast -- especially the alluring Cotillard and the always game Bates -- are a delight to watch as they bring these classic artists to life.

Although "Midnight in Paris" is as fluffy as a croissant, rom-com lovers will eat up this lighthearted romp and root for Wilson to follow his dreams and end up with a woman more deserving of his sweet nature. Bon appétit, Woody Allen connoisseurs; this is his most enjoyable movie in years.

Extras! Good luck finding much in the way of bonus features for any Woody Allen movie. For whatever reason, the director's discs are usually bare-bones affairs. However, say "merci," because both the DVD and Blu-ray for "Midnight in Paris" do include the short featurette "Midnight in Cannes," which contains interviews with Allen and the cast filmed at the Cannes Film Festival.

Based on the book "The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession" by Mark Obmascik, the comedy follows three men at a crossroads in their lives who wind up competing with each other, in what some would call the trivial pursuit of viewing as many different kinds of birds as possible through binoculars. After many trials and errors, they wind up discovering something even rarer: friendship. Or do they?

It would be pretty sweet to be able to just toss away all of your responsibilities (and all concept of reality) and dedicate a year to chasing your dreams.

We can't indulge in such an adventure ourselves (nor do we know anyone who can, really), so we'll have to make do with watching Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black trot the globe in search of exotic bird life and existential meaning in "The Big Year."

The comedy trio play friendly (and, from the looks of it, occasionally not-so-friendly) rivals who take part in the title competition, which involves trying to spot as many different bird species as possible. Along the way, you can bet they're going to learn a little bit about themselves... and take part in a few late-night phone calls with Rashida Jones, too.

If it can dodge easy sentimentality in examining the great white man's burden (a tall order, but we'll see), "The Big Year" could be a winner even before the contest has begun. If nothing else, it's got nostalgia on its side -- the trailer ends with a glimpse of Martin doing his old "Wild and Crazy Guy" dance from "Saturday Night Live."

Watch the birds -- and stars -- in the trailer below, or check it out in HD at iTunes Movie Trailers. "The Big Year" opens Oct. 14.

Pop quiz: What do Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy have in common?

They're all part of the Disney family—as actors who have voiced key roles in animated summer flicks.

You'll remember Broderick (as Simba) and Jones (as Mufasa) from 1994's smash hit "The Lion King," a film that was nominated for a whopping four Oscars and took home two, including Best Original Score and Best Original Song.

Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy, meanwhile, come to us from the action-packed "Cars 2 3D," the highly anticipated sequel that follows star racecar Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater.

Now these two movies come together, because audiences will see the first four minutes of "The Lion King" in 3D (they didn't have that back in the '90s when it was made) in select theaters before "Cars 2 3D" begins.

The clip offers a sneak peek into a special two-week theatrical extravaganza that kicks off September 16, one that will showcase Simba, Mufasa, Timon and Pumbaa on the silver screen in Disney Digital 3DTM for the first time ever.

It's interesting to note that both "The Lion King" and "Cars 2" opened on the golden date of June 24. A coincidence?

We think not.

The new trailer for Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" appears to be everything you'd want from a romantic French film.

Woody Allen's track record in recent years has been spotty. The writer/director pumps out a new film every year and it's caused the quality of the films to go from Oscar-worthy ("Match Point," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona") to forgettably dull ("Scoop," "Whatever Works") in the drop of a hat. When he's on, he's on. When he's off...he can be way, way off.

The trailer for his new film "Midnight in Paris" has premiered on Yahoo and frankly, it could easily go either way. Continuing his European world tour (London, Spain and now France), "Paris" stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who travel with McAdams' parents to the French capital to soak up the sights and enjoy themselves.

When they run into a friendly, pseudo-intellectual Brit (played by Michael Sheen), McAdams is sucked into the cultural world of Paris while Wilson is left in the dust. That is, until he ventures out alone one evening, seemingly discovering a magical world underneath the surface of the city.

Allen is no stranger to the supernatural -- "Match Point" and "Scoop" both exist in very real worlds while finding a way to squeeze ghosts into the plot -- and "Midnight in Paris" looks to continue that fascination. What Wilson finds on his lonely walk is the Paris we'd all love to unearth: music, dance, old timey costumes and plenty of romantic ideas. Allen seems to have found a way to combine the "real" Paris with the one we all wistfully dream of and the results look fluffy and fun. Whether it will all click in end is the spin of the wheel we take with every one of Woody's pictures -- they're hard to resist!

"Midnight in Paris" is set to open the Cannes Film Festival on May 11, then make its way stateside in limited release on May 20.

From devishly sneaking into bridal ceremonies in "Wedding Crashers" alongside Vince Vaughn to his quality time with Ben Stiller in "Starsky & Hutch," Wilson has defined himself as the ultimate man's best friend. You know, in a non-canine sort of way.

In the upcoming comedy "Hall Pass," Wilson's wife offers him one week to sleep with whomever he wants, so he gets his pal played by Jason Sudeikis to join him in the brief bachelorhood fun. And therein lies the hilarity.

Since we love Wilson -- and Sudeikis, for that matter -- but can't really offer you a bromance, romance or otherwise with him, we're doing the next best thing.

We've got loads of "Hall Pass" goodies and we're ready to send it a few lucky readers' way. It may not get you past the hall monitor, ,but it's still totally cool.

As honorated graduates of The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good, we're excited because we just read some for serious words about the new "Zoolander" movie.

Owen Wilson, aka the angel-winged, Mount Vesuvius rappelling male model Hansel, has told Cinema Blend that it looks like they have the green-light for more Blue Steel, and it could be coming sooner than you think.

At a press day for the upcoming Christmas threequel "Little Fockers," Wilson said, referring to his frequent co-star Stiller, “I just saw him now and we’re talking about doing another 'Zoolander' movie. I think there’s a really good script and I think we’re going to do it.”

Actor/writer Justin Theroux, who penned the screenplay for blockbuster "Iron Man 2" and co-wrote "Tropic Thunder" with Stiller, is writing the sequel to the 2001 film, in which Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson saved the Malaysian Prime Minister from assassination and learned there's more to life than just being really, really, really good looking.

Someday we'll find out what that is, but in the meantime lets hope Justin Theroux can keep all those script files *in* his computer, and that "Zoolander's" cult status can help this new movie take a page out of the "Austin Powers" playbook, i.e. mediocre grossing first entry, blockbuster second movie.

Here's the skinny on "Cars 2" in one big sentence: Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy are back as race car Lightning McQueen and his dumb tow truck pal Tow Mater but this time they are going worldwide as they participate in an international Grand Prix -- while also getting mixed up in some international espionage on the side thanks to a familiar looking Aston Martin voiced by the legendary Michael Caine.

But, honestly, whatever. Pixar could animate two hours of you napping and we'd be first in line at the theater because everything they do turns to movie gold. So while we're stoked to see Caine as secret agent Finn MacMissile -- which we've already claimed as our new Xbox gamertag -- and the rest of the typically top-notch animation, the details aren't quite as important as they might usually be when a new trailer comes out.

After all, regardless of what's in the trailer, you're going to see "Cars 2." We're going to see "Cars 2." Everyone's going to go see "Cars 2." On June 24th. And frankly, that's the way things should be.

For now, though, you can at least satisfy your curiosity with this new clip, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

Bobby and Peter have never really topped the sheer jaw-dropping brilliance that was "There's Something About Mary" (1998), but that's certainly not for lack of trying. They keep cranking them out, determined to astound us with their skewed vision of the world.

The latest effort from the Brothers is "Hall Pass," which chronicles the pratfalls of two guys whose wives give them license to do whatever they want for a week in the hope that it will reignite their marriages. Yeah, it's a fantasy.

Check out the "Hall Pass" trailer below, which features Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis living it up at Applebees and smoking pot on the golf course. And yes, there's at least one exaggerated reaction to the sight of a woman's naked breasts -- you know how men are confused and mesmerized by female nudity in these kinds of movies.

"Hall Pass" opens Feb. 25, 2011.

We always knew male model Derek Zoolander was one-dimensional, but now he's taking it to the next level by becoming a cartoon character.

The New York Times reports that Ben Stiller is bringing on the Blue Steel in a new Web-based animated "Zoolander" project produced by Stiller's Red Hour Films for Paramount Digital Entertainment.

Stiller, 44, will voice the role of the vapid but lovable male mannequin, who first came into vogue in a series of VH1 Fashion Awards skits in the '90s before headlining his own comedy in 2001.

Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell, who played male model Hansel and evil villain Mugatu in the hit flick, are expected to lend their voices to the animated project as well.

"You don’t want to have the guy who did the Hanna-Barbera cartoons come and do the voices," explains Stiller, who will also star in the live-action Web series "Billy Glimmer" under his Red Hour deal. "No offense to the Hanna-Barbera cartoons -- I’m a huge Scooby-Doo fan."

Besides the toon, a "Zoolander" movie sequel is also in the works for 2012. "The script is in good shape right now," actor/writer Justin Theroux tells MTV, adding that the plot focuses on aging posers Zoolander and Hansel attempting to make a comeback in the modeling world.

"[W]e start off with them in a pretty bad place," says Theroux. "They're about to ring the 40s bell. They have to claw their way back into the fashion industry in some way or another."

Ferrell's Mugatu is currently featured in the story line, as is a bad boy played by Jonah Hill.

"There are a couple new villains that step onto the stage, which we are all very happy about," says Theroux. "And yes, Jonah is the inspiration for one of them."
