Woody Harrelson Brings Fire to 'Out of the Furnace'
Woody Harrelson is going to get to play the bad guy.
The "Hunger Games" mentor is set to trade drunken guidance for seething villainy as he's signed on to play the heavy in the crime drama, "Out of the Furnace," according to Variety.

Zoe Saldana and Casey Affleck Hop 'Out of The Furnace' with Christian Bale
Zoe Saldana and Casey Affleck have signed on the dotted line to join Christian Bale in "Out of the Furnace," a revenge drama directed by Scott Cooper that's set to start production later this month.
"Furnace" is based on a script from 2008 called "The Low Dweller," and since then, plenty of ink has been spilled on the ups and downs of its development. Now that we're only a month away from kicking things off, more info is being confirmed. That's Hollywood, folks! Get More »

Luckily for film fans, though, Bale's idea of a good time apparently is slaving away in front of the camera, because according to indieWire he's signed on to yet another upcoming project, the dramatic thriller "Out of the Furnace."
Bale's crowded schedule — which already included the upcoming Terrence Malick films "Lawlewss" and "Knight of Cups" — is in direct contrast to that of "Out of Furnace" director Scott Cooper, who has pretty much been cooling his heels since "Crazy Heart" hit theaters in 2009. Get More »
