Seth MacFarlane Might Host the Oscars Again
Getty Images
While "Family Guy" funny guy Seth MacFarlane literally said "no way" when asked whether he would return to host the Academy Awards again, he might just get the chance to change his mind all "No way! Way!" "Wayne's World" style here soon.
As detailed by Cinema Blend, yesterday producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron were confirmed to return for the 2014 Oscars and are rumored to have asked MacFarlane to give the show another go. Get More »
The MTV Movie Awards vs. The Oscars: Which Was More Fun?

Receiving an invitation to the Oscars is great. Receiving an invitation to the MTV Movie Awards is even better (that's right, even better). Receiving an invitation to both? Why, you've just hit your zenith as an actor. You've covered all bases. The old white people at the Academy think you're important, and the MTV generation thinks you're rad. Yes, rad.
But which of the two prestigious events did the following thespians enjoy more, by our perception?

Shnope, Tina Fey Won't Host the Oscars with Amy Poehler

Seth MacFarlane is currently experiencing some rather serious backlash for the ups and downs of his turn as host of this year's Academy Awards, so it's hardly a surprise there's "no way" he'll take that job again. And while it's been less than a week since the Oscars, people are already starting to look forward to next year's big show with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler among the most wanted hosts for 2014, natch.
Unfortunately, that will not happen. Get More »
The Onion Calls Quvenzhane Wallis the Wrong C Word

We've contended once before that "Beasts of the Southern Wild" star Quvenzhané Wallis, who made history as the Academy's youngest-ever Best Actress nominee at just nine, deserves the nickname Cutiezhane, but it looks like The Onion opted for a totally different C word during last night's Oscars telecast. GALLERY: 10 People Surprised to Be at the Oscars
"Hmm ... I must've taken a wrong turn at Al-bu-quer-que."
Most celebrities smile and wave on the red carpet and during awards ceremonies and parties. Others just look confused and befuddled. Oscars 2013: The Best Quotes -- In Meme Form
That's all she wrote, folks: The 2013 awards season has officially drawn to a close with the curtain drop on last night's Oscars ceremony, but not before Hollywood's brightest stars got a few good lines in.
Host Seth MacFarlane's vision for the evening involved lengthy celebrations of the music of the movies, but plenty of prose found its way into the ceremony and, afterwards, into our memories.
From the smiliest Best Director acceptance speech ever to the gayest possible ceremony and everything in between, here are the seven most memorable quotes (or in one case, silence) from the 2013 Oscars.

And with all the hype, the endless amounts of expert prognostications and snarky articles on movie websites, the Oscars are over in only three-and-a-half short hours. Well, not short, exactly.
Certainly longer than some other things with lots of hype (BOOM SEX JOKE) - but still, here we are.
The awards have been handed out, and it's time to review what we all just watched. Get More »
'Argo,' 'Life of Pi' Win Big at 2013 Oscars
Warner Bros.
The 85th annual Academy Awards are being held this evening and "Argo" won Best Picture. The award was accepted by producers Grant Heslov, George Clooney and Ben Affleck, who was famously snubbed in the Best Director category.
Heslov was anything but subtle in pointing out the oversight, making a special point to thank Affleck for being a "great director" before turning over the mic.
"I want to thank my wife, who I don't normally associate with Iran," Affleck said in a charming acceptance speech, also thanking everyone up to and including the entire nation of Canada.
Ang Lee, for what it's worth, won Best Director for "Life of Pi." It was the fourth win for the film on the evening, follwing Oscars for Best Visual Effects, Best Cinematography and Best Original Score. Get More »
