Mega-Hit 'The Intouchables' Will Conquer America With Charm

"The Intouchables" is a film in a foreign language (French) with no discernible stars. And it's a monster hit -- overseas. But now it's finally getting the chance to occupy an even bigger stage, as the film hits U.S. theaters today.

Since opening in France and throughout Europe last year, "The Intouchables" has gone on to become France's second highest-grossing movie ever, grossing close to $300 million at the worldwide box office (over $166 million in France alone). Take that, James Cameron! Add to that the fact that its star, Omar Sy, beat out Academy Award winner Jean Dujardin ("The Artist") at the Cesar Awards (France's equivalent to the Oscars) for the Best Actor trophy, and it's clear that "The Intouchables" is, you guessed it, untouchable.
