Though the supercut lasts only :55 seconds, there are (by our count) 58 scenes of people screaming "NOOOO!!!!" in movies, which would mean, going by the math of the aforementioned Harvard scientists, 4.57 real people out there would have had to have screamed "NOOOO!!!!" to match.***

There are few things Hollywood loves more than a good political drama, except for a good political drama with a major star in the lead.

Enter Gael Garcia Bernal and the upcoming "No," a film about the 1988 referendum in Chile when the people were given the chance to remove dictator Augusto Pinochet from office, after 15 years of his oppressive dictatorship.

Based on a true story, Bernal plays Rene Saavedra, an ad executive charged with the task of creating a campaign that would convince the people of Chile that it was time for a new leader — so, you know, no pressure. From the first look at the new trailer, it seems Saavedra's job wasn't all that easy, as he had to convince the powers-that-be to think of this project in terms of advertising rather than as a revolution. If he does his job, the revolution part will follow; at least, that's the idea.

The film has already become something of a critic's darling overseas, as the director, Pablo Larrain, already snapped up the C.I.C.A.E. Award at Cannes and was voted as one of the top five foreign language films of 2012 by the National Board of Review. Now, however, it's ready to come stateside, and is slated for release on February 15. But don't wait until 2013 to get a glimpse at what's sure to be a buzzed-about film of the new year.

Can ousting a dictator be as simple as just saying "No"? Well, maybe it's a little more complicated than that, but this new movie starring Gael Garcia Bernal is going to show us how one little word helped kick Chile's former dictator Augusto Pinochet to the curb.

In 1988, the people of Chile took part in a referendum to vote simply yes or no to continue Pinochet's rule for another eight years. Although this set-up was intended to keep Pinochet in charge, the people voted him out. (Read more about it here.) Garcia Bernal will play an ad exec behind the famous "No" campaign.

"Garcia Bernal's character will be the guy who had the idea of using a nice, happy, positive message instead a dark one… That's why they won: They didn't attack Pinochet. They just promised a better and nicer future," director Pablo Larrain told Variety.

Garcia Bernal is also working behind the scenes on "No." His production company with longtime friend and occasional costar Diego Luna is on board as a co-producer. Canana Films is also the production company behind the critically acclaimed thriller "Miss Bala" and Larrain's movie "Post Morten," as well as Cary Fukunaga's "Sin Nombre."

"No" is set to start filming on November 3, although US producer Daniel Dreifuss is still drumming up fundage for the flick. Folks who like political dramas like "Wag the Dog" and "In the Loop" should be chomping at the bit for "No."

Meanwhile, keep an eagle eye out for Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna's onscreen reunion in the bizarro "Casa de mi Padra" with Will Ferrell!
