"I can't move. I almost feel like I have the flu because of how much fun I had."
No, this isn't an aging star feeling the effects of the previous night's high-class Oscar shenanigans. It's Nikki Reed, the 24-year-old co-star of the "Twilight" franchise, recovering from a day spent, well, relaxing.
"I’m 24 years old and my idea of fun is going to my father’s house to play Yahtzee on a Friday night," she said.
Reed — who gave us a call while promoting her new film "Pawn," a hostage drama-turned-mob movie — isn't your typical young Hollywood starlet. On top of making movies, she also has an arts and crafts addiction, in addition to writing songs and movies — remember a little traumatic something called "Thirteen," 10 years ago? She co-wrote that just a few years after hitting puberty, based largely on her own wild youth. The now-married Reed claims to be in bed by 9, and gets vocally excited over things like low-maintenance plant life.
We caught up with Reed on her inability to relax, her extreme love for Hanson and, of course, Edward versus Jacob. Get More »
Ah, Hanukah! Festival of Lights! A time for Jews everywhere to get together in a spirit of peace, give gifts and sing songs. It's also a time for gentiles everywhere to ask questions like "So... what's the deal with Hanukah?" and "How do you spell Chanukah?" and "Why does it keep moving around the calendar like a celebratory hobo?"
These are good questions; deep questions. And who better to ask than Hollywood's Jewish stars! But who's Jewish? It's no shock that certain actors are from the tribe (shalom, Sasha Baron Cohen!), but Zac Efron? Get More »
We know the ladies love Kristen Stewart, but how do the guys really feel? And, if given the choice, would they rather get up close and personal with Ashley Greene or Nikki Reed?
Welcome to our "Twilight" girls edition of Eff, Marry, Kill.
This game goes exactly how you think it does. We want you to determine which actress — Stewart, Greene or Reed — you'd like to spend the rest of your days with, whose days you'd like to end for good and which one you'd enjoy (or suffer through, as the case may be) spending one single night with. Looks like "The Twilight Saga" soundtrack series is closing on a bloody colorful note.
The band's bassist, Mike Dirnt, said "When we were asked to be part of the 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon, and we have always been impressed with the way the 'Twilight' soundtracks are so carefully curated." You've no doubt seen the new (and allegedly final) poster for "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," which features Edward, Bella, Jacob and a good handful of supporting players running toward us in the snow with looks of grim determination.
It's a snapshot of the film's violent climax, and a scene that Nikki Reed is anxious to see herself ... since shooting it involved a lot of playing make-believe.
"I can't wait to see that whole scene," says the actress who will be playing Rosalie Hale for the fifth and final time. "We had to really use our imagination, you know, we shot that on a stage ... the wolves are these big cardboard cutouts."
Nikki breaks down the illusion in the video above, courtesy of MTV. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" opens Nov. 16.
Perhaps the only media types who enjoy speculation more than entertainment writers are sports journalists. They're constantly trying to out-predict their colleagues on which team will win the World Series, where Dwight Howard will be traded, which rookies will become all-stars, etc.
A popular format to grade teams and players on where they are and where they are headed is the Power Rankings. Grantland borrowed this device to recap "Mad Men" episodes, positioning the characters each week in order of how well they handled themselves in the episode. Get More »
That's right: She has (officially) arrived. With "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2" just a sliver over five months from its release date on November 16, Summit has released the first look at the young Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee, the vampire hybrid love child of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson).
Too bad she's hiding behind Mommy, making it almost impossible to actually see her. Sigh. Get More »
The "Twilight" gang has stayed plenty busy since launching straight into the cultural zeitgeist four years ago, and some of the franchise actors have had much more luck than others when it comes to scoring impressive and interesting roles.
One nabbed an Oscar nom, two had films in competition at Cannes this year, and another headlines an exciting new J.J. Abrams series this fall. Others have endured critical and box office flops, straight-to-DVD blunders and yes, even a Razzie "win."
Until this weekend, though, none have stretched their legs into new series territory -- but Kristen Stewart really puts her box-office muster to the test as she moves from the damp world of Forks into the clutches of Ravenna's evil queen-dom for "Snow White and the Huntsman." In celebration of her second franchise bid, we take a look at what all of the "Twilight" kids have been up to since first making their mark on modern pop culture not too long ago.
Usually when you're making a big-budget movie, having actors is one of the main requirements. You know, it helps. But even though "Empire State" is set to begin filming in less than a week, until now half the cast was still up in the air.
Well, better late than never: According to Deadline, "The Twilight Saga"'s Nikki Reed will be joining "Empire State" along with fellow newcomers Chris Diamantopoulos ("The Three Stooges"), Michael Angarano ("Red State," "Haywire"), Jerry Ferrara ("Entourage") and Paul Ben-Victor ("In Plain Sight").

Seeing Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald making puppy eyes at each other simply wasn't enough of these adorable newlyweds for us.
Thankfully, they feel our pain, as the "Twilight" and "American Idol" match made in Hollywood heaven have released a music video for "Now That I've Found You," the single they co-wrote and released back in November.
The two enlightened Hollywood Crush on their romance, their shared love of music and how they came up with the concept for the video.
"I wanted it to be simple and sweet and tell the story of two people and have it be more about the atmosphere," Reed said. "I don't know if you notice, but there's a very specific choice in there with cuts and specific shots that are partial and you can only see parts of our mouths and hands. I don't want to dwell on the shots of us for too long."
See what Nikki and Paul had to say about the songwriting process and more at Hollywood Crush.
