Colin Farrell's 'Dead Man Down' Trailer Goes Up
Anyone who has seen the original Swedish version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" knows that it is probably a pretty darn bad idea to mess with Noomi Rapace. Noomi Rapace and 'Dragon Tattoo' Director Reunite
Noomi Rapace is making room on her dance card for "Dead Man Down," a thriller directed by Niels Arden Oplev. The Danish director previously worked with Rapace on "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," but while the role of Lisbeth Salander was Rapace's ticket to stardom, Oplev bowed out of the second two movies in the series because of scheduling difficulties.
"Dead Man Down" will costar Colin Farrell as "the right-hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution," according to The Wrap. Get More »
Original 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' Director Not Too Keen on Hollywood Remake
Niels Arden Oplev has a message for Hollywood, and it isn't a love letter.
Oplev, the director of the original (Swedish) adaptaion of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," is none too thrilled about America's remake of his film.
