Sandra Bullock might already have that trophy in the bag thanks to "Gravity" — or maybe it'll be Cate Blanchett ("Blue Jasmine") or even Meryl Streep ("August: Osage County") — but even so, many of the talking heads totally expected Nicole Kidman to at least warm up her sneakers for a go at this season's Best Actress race.
Nicole Kidman's been on the feature film scene for a few decades now, and we can all agree on the fact that girlfriend is regal to the max. The newly unveiled international trailer for "Grace of Monaco" maybe hasn't quite gotten the memo yet, because they're really driving the point home hard. Get More »
This week: Bryan Singer adapts the British fairy tale of "Jack and the Beanstalk" into the underappreciated action-adventure "Jack the Giant Slayer," starring Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson and Ewan McGregor.
Also new this week is the coming-of-age comedy "21 & Over," the psychosexual drama "Stoker" with Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska, the quirky morality play "The Brass Teapot" with Juno Temple and the celebrity-riddled anthology film "Movie 43" starring, well, half of Hollywood. Get More »
Will Ferrell's "Anchorman" sequel's subtitle might be "The Legend Continues" but it should probably be re-dubbed "A Series Of Potentially Distracting Cameo Appearances" (although that would be really hard to fit on the marquee). Kanye West, Tina Fey, Kristin Wiig, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler (whom "Anchorman" die hards will remember had a sizable role in the first film, only to see her entire subplot deleted from the final product), Liam Neeson, John C. Reilly, Jim Carrey and Harrison Ford have all shot cameos for the hotly anticipated sequel (also: an animatronic shark).
The latest celebrity to be roped into this cameo feeding frenzy? None other than Canadian rapper Drake.

Starring in a remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" may have been a bad choice, but appearing in "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" ... never!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicole Kidman just shot an uncredited cameo for the much anticipated "Anchorman" sequel, with the details of her role being kept under wraps. This certainly isn't the first time the typically serious actress has given a go at some funny business, as she also had an uncredited part in Adam Sandler's 2011 comedy, "Just Go With It."
Kidman makes for just one of many other surprise players in the "Anchorman" sequel, including Kristen Wiig, Harrison Ford and Greg Kinnear. THR also reports that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are likely to be making comebacks as Ron Burgundy's rival anchors from the evening news. Get More »
Darren Julien and Martin Nolan of Julien's Auction House brought a valuable property with them to "Today," where Matt Lauer was bestowed early audition tapes featuring A-list movie stars. Three casting directors have released these 54 tapes to the public, and if you have $2000-$4000 bucks to spare (as Julien estimates the bidding prices), you may need a very good reason to buy a VCR...or a VHS-to-DVD converter. People felt a lot of feels about the 2013 Academy Award nominations this morning, and they felt those feels all over Twitter. Here, we've captured the best of the Oscar snub Twitter freakouts, be they over the Best Director category (Tom Hooper! Kathryn Bigelow! AFFLECK!), movies omitted altogether (ahem, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"), Nicole Kidman's urination habits, and other (according to Twitter) travesties. Enjoy.
Judd Apatow's new comedy, "This Is 40," presents the many challenges that come with middle age, such as being attractive, having amusing and dedicated friends and wallowing in complete financial stability.
It's not all mundane tedium, though — sometimes you also just go crazy and get high in hotel rooms and caress Megan Fox's pert, twentysomething breasts.
Let's face it — something about being rich and famous kind of slows down the aging process that us regular schmoes have to contend with. Here are a few celebrity types who make 40 look like the new 25.
