Nick Cassavetes Will Take K.Stew to 'Cali'

This wild ride officially has a driver.

Nick Cassavetes is set to return to gritty territory as the "Alpha Dog" director signs on to call the shots for the indie thriller, "Cali," according to Variety.

"Cali" tells the Tarantino-esque tale of Mya (Kristen Stewart) and Chris, two lovebirds with a knack for bad choices and dangerous behavior. After selling a snuff film starring Mya, they skip town with a bundle of cash before anyone realizes the flick's a fake. Years later, Mya's quest to save the younger sister she left behind requires a return to the San Fernando Valley, where she and Chris must face a whole slew of freaks and psychos. Get More »
