Get briefed with our gallery, which covers every Bond Girl from the past 50 years, from Severine (Berenice Marlohe) in "Skyfall" (2012) all the way back to Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) in "Dr. No" (1962). The former opens Nov. 9.
In Awesome, Open-Minded News: Idris Elba Could Be the Next James Bond
Every now and then Hollywood has a good idea, and we gotta say, this is one of the best we've heard in a while. Daniel Craig is killing it as James Bond—and there's even chatter that he might be the new quintessential 007 (sorry Sean Connery) — but he's going to have to hang up the tuxedo someday… which makes us wonder who could possibly take his place?
Enter Idris Elba. That's right—the guy from "The Wire." According to Total Film, Elba has already met with producer Barbara Broccoli (no, we didn't make that name up) to discuss the possibility. Obviously, this has us very excited for many reasons, not the least of which is that Elba is a powerful thesp we'd love to see more of, but also because he would be the first black Bond. It's about time. Get More »

Malfoy's Mom Helen McCrory To Help Bond Polish His Nimbus 3000
Besides being English, what do Harry Potter and James Bond have in common? With a 15-movie difference and 40-year head-start, 007 seems like he has the major advantage, but now several castmembers have defected from the Ministry of Magic and are heading to MI6 with a quickness.
The U.K.'s Daily Mail reports that Brit Helen McCrory has joined the cast of MGM's 23rd James Bond feature. She played one bad motha', Narcissa Malfoy, in the final three "Harry Potter" movies in addition to having previously worked with new Bond director director Sam Mendes on several plays, with Daniel Craig in the little-seen 2008 film "Flashbacks of a Fool," and newly-cast Ralph Fiennes as ol' Voldy in the aforementioned fantasy franchise. The site is quick to note that no deals have been struck, but after six months of swirling rumors, including the possible addition of Rachel Weisz to the cast, this is the first concrete info we've heard on the film.
