Mischa Barton Will Lead 'I Will Follow You Into the Dark'

Mischa Barton isn't afraid of the "Dark."

The former "O.C." star is set to get existentially romantic as she's signed on for the lead role in "I Will Follow You Into the Dark," according to Variety.

Barton will be playing a young woman (the "I" in the title, we're assuming) who's drawn out of a deep depression over the death of both her parents by an unexpected romance; when her new lover goes missing, she sets out to find him -- a journey that may take her beyond the "living" world.
