You become a producer of the movies based on your books. So when "Breaking Dawn" filmed in Baton Rouge, Meyer (along with her husband and three sons) was there — and when filming moved to Vancouver, they went too.
In USA Today, Meyer describes being on-set in bittersweet terms noting, "I feel I've seen so much of the movie and really understand what it will look like. There are still a lot of compromises.
