We've all seen "Armageddon" an ungodly amount of times, only to be left in a pool of tears by the end of the movie when Bruce Willis dies a hero. Thankfully, it's only a movie and — spoiler alert! — Willis is still alive. (It's been 15 years, just Netflix the damn thing already.)
In an alternate universe, a kitty named Fuzz Aldrin may not be so lucky. Get More »
Put on your seatbelt, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
There's nothing we love more than a good car crash. Something about the metal-on-metal action triggers the daredevil in us, makes us stare in awe and glee at the wreckage. But as car crashes became more common, directors had to figure out more and more inventive ways of redefining the car crash game. Simply put, cars sometimes crash into the darndest things.
Ever wanted to see a car blow up a helicopter? "Live Free or Die Hard" has you covered. Michael Bay makes sure no fruit stand or water canisters are safe in "The Rock," while "Cannonball Run" gets its cars to cool off by taking a nice dip in the pool. You'll see all that and plenty more in the our mashup, compiled by Avaryl Halley. Be sure to watch till the end, which proves cars can truly crash through anything. And next time you get behind the wheel, remember: no texting, cause if you're not paying attention, this could happen to you.
This week: Leonardo DiCaprio is perfectly cast as the titular character in "The Great Gatsby," director Baz Luhrmann's gaudy adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel.
Also new this week is Michael Bay's darkly funny "Pain & Gain" starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, the family drama "At Any Price" with Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron and the cult monster movie "Q: The Winged Serpent" on Blu-ray. Get More »
China's been ticking American film studios off a lot lately with all their censoring and movie-banning and, the latest, not paying their ticket sales tabs, but this video is not a case of Hollywood striking back. Or maybe it is? Get More »
When you watched the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" way back when — and we're talkin' the cartoons, not whatever was happening in '07 — did you see the redheaded reporter April O'Neil as attractive in any way?
There's a whole forum dedicated to this very issue, but for kids growing up with this generation's movie version of those turtles on the half-shell the question is kinda null because all they'll see is Megan Fox in the role.
Yep, the "Transformers" star has rekindled her love-hate relationship with Michael Bay for his live-action take on the sewer hero quartet, and as you see in this photo of her on the New York set of the film Monday, she looks pretty camera ready wielding her little mic and press pass in-costume (even if her hair is only reddish) which, wisely, is not an unflattering yellow jumpsuit. In 2008's "The Dark Knight" William Fichtner was the first victim of Heath Ledger's The Joker, but now he's looking to do some victimizing of his own as one of comic book-doms most iconic villains.
Fichtner, who also plays main bad guy Butch Cavendish in next month's "The Lone Ranger," has revealed to Huffington Post that he's going to lead the Foot Clan as Shredder in Paramount's big-budget reboot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," currently shooting in New York. Get More »
UPDATE (May 31, 2013): Optimus Schmoptimus! Now, here's the movie muscle machine we really wanted to get a look at.
Presenting the new Bumblebee, "a highly modified, vintage 1967 Camaro SS." In black and yellow, because obviously. (You know what it is.)
"Transformers 4" director Michael Bay had previously shelled out vehicle images for Optimus Prime and some of his little Autobot pals, but he waited to dole out this blockbuster-bound beauty 'til last, and we can definitely see why. It's far and away the sickest ride on the "T4" lot. Get More »
