We gotta admit, we were almost looking forward to Monday over the weekend for the sheer probability of getting a new "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" casting announcement today, and voila! Here it is!

Lionsgate has announced that Maria Howell ("The Blind Side," "What to Expect When You're Expecting") will portray District 11's female victor-slash-tribute for the Third Quarter Quell, Seeder.

If you'll recall, Seeder is a quiet but kind character who steps up to inform Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) of the well-being of Rue and Thresh's families following the revolution. Get More »
