All of the week's hot casting news in one fell swoop ...
• James Franco continues to provide evidence that he lives in a world where there are more than 24 hours in a day. According to Deadline, the crazy busy thespian has added "The Grace That Keeps This World" to his insane schedule, a family drama co-starring Brit Marling and Glenn Close that follows a father and his sons as they prepare for the upcoming hunting season.
• Michelle Williams, whom we haven't seen on the big screen since "My Week With Marilyn," is in talks to star in "Suite Francaise" for English director Saul Dibb ("The Duchess"). Williams would be playing, according to Variety, "a spirited young woman in occupied France who falls for a German officer and must choose between love and her country." She'll probably find a way to choose both.
• The con is on with Ben Affleck! Deadline reports that the "Argo" man is in talks to star in "Focus," the tale of a grifter who falls in love with a female up-and-comer — a recipe for heartbreak when one's in the business of cheating and lying. Get More »

All of the week's hot casting news in one fell swoop ...
• We wouldn't mind getting snowed in with this trio! The Hollywood Reporter calls for stormy weather as "Project X" star Miles Teller will star opposite Analeigh Tipton and Jessica Szohr in "Two Night Stand," a romantic indie that centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who awaken after an ill-advised one-night stand to find themselves snowed in by a blizzard that’s put all of Manhattan on ice.
• After playing a victim in "Straw Dogs," Kate Bosworth is looking to be the rabble-rouser this time around. Heat Vision reports that the "Blue Crush" beauty will be playing James Franco's revenge-minded (and meth-addicted) sister in "Homefront," the action thriller starring Jason Statham and written by Sylvester Stallone. Riddick Gets a New Nemesis with Jordi Molla
Riddick's a wanted man throughout the galaxy, and the latest bad guy hot on his trail could be the famous Spanish actor Jordi Molla.
Molla would play yet another mercenary hunting down Riddick (Vin Diesel) on that crusty prison planet of Crematoria. As Santana, Molla would head up a group of mercs on the hunt for our eyeball-enhanced ex-con.
US audiences might be more familiar with Molla's work in the bananas actioner "Bunraku" and the less bananas Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz vehicle "Knight and Day," as well as "Colombiana" and "Blow." Get More »
Katee Sackhoff Returns to Outer Space For 'Riddick' Sequel
Katee Sackhoff is on the hunt for Vin Diesel.
The "Battlestar Galactica" alum is set to return to her sci-fi roots as she's signed on for the untitled "Chronicles of Riddick" sequel, according to Deadline.
Sackhoff will play the role of Dahl, a Nordic mercenary (or "merc," as they're called in the Riddick-verse) who's tracking down everyone's favorite ex-con with the super-sensitive eyesight. She's the first cast member to officially join Vin Diesel in the sci-fi adventure, which recently resumed production in Montreal after a brief hiatus brought on by financing issues. Get More »
'Buffy,' 'Lost' and 'Battlestar' Alums Join 'Sexy Evil Genius'
The movie may not have anything to do with their respective shows, but the newly announced indie "Sexy Evil Genius" is a TV geek's dream come true.
Joining the cast of "Greek" executive producer Shawn Pillar's directorial debut are former "Buffy" co-stars Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg, Katee Sackhoff of "Battlestar Galactica" fame and Harold Perrineau Jr. a.k.a. Michael on "Lost."
Billy Baldwin is also joining the cast, according to Hollywood Reporter, though we'd be hard pressed to call him a staple on either "Gossip Girl" or "Parenthood" -- but hey, the movie needed at least one person who didn't own their respective TV shows. Get More »
'Sexy' Katee Sackhoff Plays 'Evil Genius'
Katee Sackhoff will play the titular "Sexy Evil Genius" in the new film from director Shawn Piller and writer Scott Lew, reports The Hollywood Reporter
Fellow nerds in the audience will recognize Sackhoff from her role as Starbuck on the "Battlestar Galactica" reboot. And some might even remember her character Annie on MTV's "Undressed." (We'll save you the Google.) She's a big deal for those of us who obsess over cult television.
"Sexy Evil Genius," as if you couldn't tell from the title, should clinch her spot as the object of our affection. THR says the story "centers on a group of strangers brought together in a downtown Los Angeles bar by their mutual ex-girlfriend (Sackhoff). Get More »
