'Before Midnight' Trailer Is Pretty Romantic

"Fast and Furious 6" isn't the only highly anticipated sequel coming this Memorial Day weekend. For those who like their movies a little, uh, smaller and quieter, you can't go wrong with "Before Midnight," writer-director Richard Linklater's third chapter in the Jesse and Celine Chronicles.

We first met Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) as starry-eyed twentysomethings in "Before Sunrise" (1995) and caught up with them nine years later as slightly more cynical but still somewhat romantic thirtysomethings in "Before Sunset" (2004). Now actually involved in a relationship that doesn't involve a fleeting rendezvous with a deadline (or does it?), the fortysomething couple look to be navigating some troubled waters as they reflect on their 18-year history via another philosophical talkfest set against some overseas backdrop (in this case, Greece).

The trailer, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, probably won't set your world on fire, but the movie itself is apparently pretty damn terrific, so there you go.

"Before Midnight" opens May 24.

2 Days in New York
Magnolia Pictures

It's Year 11 for the Tribeca Film Festival, and it looks like the fest created by Robert De Niro is hitting its stride.

The 11-day event, which takes place April 18-29, has always been known for its flashy red- carpet premieres (this year's fest is bookended with the comedy "The Five-Year Engagement" and Marvel's latest “The Avengers”) and fun family fare (free Drive In screenings of "Jaws" and "The Goonies"). Tribeca is also branching out into the online world: For its second year, the festival will screen a handful of titles from this year's Tribeca Online Film Festival as well as stream some of its panels.

But if you like to watch your movies the old-fashioned way (in the theater), here are 15 titles from this year's fest that we think you should check out. Get More »

Hawke and Delpy Pine For Third 'Before' Romance

Before Sunset
Miramax

What if you had a third chance with the one that got away?

Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy will return for another romantic talkathon in the third chapter of the Jesse and Celine Chronicles, according to Vulture.

Hawke and Delpy first played Jesse and Celine in "Before Sunrise" (1995), in which they met by chance on a train and spent a romantic (and talky) night together in Vienna. Nine years later, they were reunited in Paris in "Before Sunset" (2004), still crazy for each other but now both older, more jaded and involved in other relationships. Get More »
