Changing appearances for the sake of entertainment is nothing new in Hollywood; it's all part of the gig. But when professional heartthrob Ryan Gosling tweaks his look, disgruntled fans are going to have something to say about it.
In "The Place Beyond the Pines," Gosling sports a bleach-blond 'do for his role as a motorcycle racer-turned-bank robber. As photos started surfacing during the film's production, people were wondering what the heck was going on with his hair. Serious drama. Get More »

Last night, the
internet voting zombies people spoke and declared who and what they favored most from 2012's crop of films at the 2013 People's Choice Awards, and to the surprise of absolutely no one it was "The Hunger Games" which came out on top of the wins list.
"Hunger Games" snagged the win for Favorite Movie as well as Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise and Favorite On-Screen Chemistry. The film also garnered its now two-time Oscar-nominated leading actress Jennifer Lawrence a win for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Face of Heroism, which was great because her speech was - per usual - completely adorable. [From MTV News] Don't be so sensitive, Josh Hutcherson! Or, actually, do. Do be so sensitive. It's part of what we love about you.
MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with the charmingly earnest "Hunger Games" star for a Sensitive Guys 101 chat. The two discussed the best kind of pie to cheer someone up, Hutcherson's extreme politeness standards, and how often Hutcherson has a little weepfest.
"There's the morning cry and then the shower cry at the end of the night every night," Hutcherson says. "At least two a day, depending on the vents of the day, it could be up to four or five, but two a day is pretty standard."
Check out the video above, or head over to MTV News for your morning swoon.
Remember that time when Vinnie Chase made that horrifyingly bad movie about Pablo Escobar and it bombed at Cannes and nearly ruined the career of everyone involved on HBO's "Entourage"? Well, despite that cautionary TV tale, "Life of Pi" star Andrea di Stefano is intent on making a movie about the infamous Colombian drug lord happen, and he's now tapped "Hunger Games" hottie Josh Hutcherson to join the befitting Benicio del Toro for the flick.
Per Deadline, Stefano's "Paradise Lost" (not to be confused with Alex Proyas' Satanic flick) will feature del Toro as Escobar, with Hutcherson coming in for the leading role of Nick, an Irish surfer dude who visits his brother in Colombia and falls in love with a local woman named Maria only to discover she's the niece of the highly dangerous narcoterrorist. That's definitely a bit of bad luck. Get More »
Full disclosure: We weren't sold on Josh Hutcherson when he was first cast as Peeta Mellark in "The Hunger Games." He was amazing in "The Kids Are All Right," so it wasn't his talent that was questioned. But could the dark-haired tween from "Zathura" really carry the blonde challenges of District 12?
Then we saw the official "Hunger Games" images and it was over.
And now, with his latest film, "Red Dawn," hitting theaters, we thought we'd take a minute to appreciate the hotness of Hutch. Check out our Hot People Looking Hot gallery of the Hutcherson on the red carpet and in his movies.
Team Peeta forever.
Halloweenis just around the bend, and we have a sneaking suspicion that some of you tributes may want to take your costume fare to District 12 (or the Capitol — we don't judge) this year.
We know someone who's baking a cake today... Peeta!
The ever-adorable Josh Hutcherson turns 20 today and we can't wait to see what the next year brings for him (translation: bring on "Catching Fire").

That bunch knows how to sizzle before the camera. But did you know Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen) can also air-puppetteer her own face? Or that Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) can make an insane cricket chirping noise on cue? Or that Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne) can perform magic tricks for a crowd? Get More »
