Looks like Katherine Heigl has been reading Next Movie! (Disclaimer: She may, in fact, not be reading Next Movie.) But that's neither here nor there.
We suggested the flaxen-haired beauty should take a break from the romantic comedy circuit — temporarily, at least — and now she's set to star in "Face Blind," which is… (drum roll, please) a thriller!
The story follows a psychologist (Heigl) who has a rare affliction that makes it impossible for her to distinguish people by their faces. And you thought you were bad with names. Get More »
Some say he is a man, some say he is but a legend, but for those who remember the dim stories of the past, there is but one name for him: The Host.
Or, actually, you could just call him Billy Crystal. Either way, the comedian is back on board to host the Academy Awards for the ninth time this February. But while you may think you know the truth about how and why Crystal is returning, you haven't seen the whole story until you've watched the brand new Oscars teaser clip from ABC.

There's more than just celebrity eye candy and holiday spirit filling "New Year's Eve."
There's also awesome holiday fashion. From fantastic dresses (we're looking at you, Lea Michele and Halle Berry) and great bags (ahem, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Pfeiffer) to killer menswear (hi there, Josh Duhamel and Jon Bon Jovi), the film is like a holiday wishlist for the stylistically-minded.
Drool for yourselves with our latest Get the Goods. And, yeah, have a happy new year!
Unlike some of his other geriatric contemporaries, 77-year-old director Garry Marshall of "Pretty Woman" and "Valentine's Day" fame still knows what audiences want these days: STARS, baby, STARS!!! And stars he has for his latest date-movie destination, "New Year's Eve."
This time around, the funny filmmaker has marshaled (get it?) a swarm of talent to ring in the new to the tune of "Auld Lang Syne." Those on the glossy roster include Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, and a few of the folks you'll see in the following clips. Get More »
Man, oh man. It's still September, but it's time to start thinking about New Year's Eve … or Garry Marshall's "New Year's Eve," anyway.
We got a peek at "New Year's Eve" earlier this summer, but the first official trailer for this ensemble comedy just popped up on Apple Trailers like a champagne cork. (Watch out for your eye!) Get More »
A planned adaptation of Melissa Marr's dark fairy tale "Wicked Lovely" was just dropped by Universal, despite the addition of "American Pyscho" director Mary Harron in the driver's seat. But "Lovely" is in good company -- Universal also recently cut ties with Ron Howard's adaptation of 'The Dark Tower' series and Guillermo del Toro's "At The Mountains of Madness."
Naturally, producers are shopping the story around to other studios -- with a growing audience (the book landed on the New York Times bestseller list) and the attention of a big name like Harron, Marr hasn't given up hope. In fact, she's already picking her dream cast for the eventual movie version. Get More »
Sure, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime can transform into awesome, world-dominating, larger-than-life robots, but the changeover everyone's talking about in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" is the addition of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The model-turned-actress, who replaces Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf's onscreen girlfriend, had a great time in her first movie role, and seems especially gratuitous toward her co-star. "Shia held my hand through the whole of this like a baby," she says. "I was probably like the annoying little sister that just followed him around constantly and copied everything he did." Get More »
When you finally get to see "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," you'll notice a lot of the same characters from the first two installments of Michael Bay's blockbuster "Transformers" series -- like our dear Sam Witwicky, the eccentric Simmons, the loyal Bumblebee and the evil Megatron.
But you'll also notice an entirely new lineup of humans and robots that nearly eclipse the originals. Rather than just introduce the newbies, let's take a moment to review the "Transformers" regulars and get to know the first-timers with our complete "Dark of the Moon" character guide. You may want to print this out.
