Q&A: Joel Kinnaman Talks 'RoboCop,' 'Easy Money' and International Stardom
Joel Kinnaman isn't exactly the first person you'd think of when naming international movie stars. Well, that's about to change.
The Swedish actor is best known in the United States for his lead role in AMC's "The Killing," as well as his upcoming gig as RoboCop in the film's upcoming remake. In Europe, he's earned raves for his performance in the Swedish crime thriller "Easy Money," which comes out in the U.S. this week.
In the film, which has earned Martin Scorsese's seal of approval, Kinnaman is a college student named J.W. who is desperate to convince a group of wealthy colleagues that he belongs among them. But, to blend in, he'll need a steady flow of cash and winds up mixed up in a world of assassins and drug kingpins.

Colin Farrell Gets 'Arthur and Lancelot' Back on Track
Colin Farrell may be bringing his bad boy charm to the Round Table as King Arthur's wife-bedding knight in Warner Brothers' long-shelved "Arthur and Lancelot."
Variety reports that Farrell is in talks to star in the movie, written and directed by "The Change-Up" helmer David Dobkin, despite early difficulties in securing a cast for the film.
"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harrington was originally cast as the British sovereign, with "The Killing" star Joel Kinnaman as Lancelot, although neither star is currently associated with the project. 'The Killing' Star Becomes Killing Machine in 'RoboCop' Remake
It looks like we better come quietly or there will be trouble when "The Killing" star Joel Kinnaman inks the deal for his latest flick.
The actor, who most recently starred opposite Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington in "Safe House," is being courted to play the iconic robot crime fighter in MGM's remake of sci-fi adventure "RoboCop."
