Former "Saturday Night Live" writer Joe Bodolai, who co-wrote the 1992 hit film "Wayne's World," has died of an apparent suicide, according to TMZ. He was 63.
A respected comedian and writer, the Canadian Bodolai was well known north of the border for his producing work on shows like "Kids in the Hall" and "Comics!' as well as for his stint as a writer on "Saturday Night Live." But it was his collaboration with fellow Canadian Mike Meyers that earned Bodolai his greatest triumph, as the two paired up to write the first draft of what would eventually become one of the breakout smashes of the 1990s.
