Puppies Take a Bite Out of This Year's Best Picture Race
This year's Oscars race for Best Picture is a toughie, but thanks to all that Academy snubbage in the Best Director department, Ben Affleck's "Argo" has been getting a substantial amount of buzz ... and these puppies totally agree.
Jimmy Fallon brought his "Late Night" Best Picture prediction pups back to redeem themselves after screwing the pooch last year — the little furballs plucked "The Tree of Life" for the win but wound up shamed by the runaway success of "The Artist" — and they found "Argo" to be the tastiest dish of the nine.
It does make sense, in a way, since the name of the flick does kinda sound like some sort of off-brand dog chow. Get More »
Jimmy Fallon Turns Down Oscars Host Invitation
Update: Looks like no one's going to be auto-tuning the Academy Awards this year, as Jimmy Fallon has officially turned down the invitation to host.
"It's an honor to be asked by the academy, but it's not my year," Fallon told Matt Lauer on "Today."

Hosting the Oscars is no picnic, as James Franco and Anne Hathaway proved in 2011.
It takes style, panache, a way with the crowd, and just enough edge to be funny but not upset the 97-year-olds in AMPAS, all of which Jimmy Fallon possesses. That explains why The Los Angeles Times reports they're in negotiations with the late night comedian to host February's 85th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. Get More »
Paul Rudd and Jimmy Fallon Make Posters For 7 Fake Masterpieces
As if we didn't have enough reasons to dig on Paul Rudd, the funnyman has given us more… seven more, actually.
While dropping by "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Friday, ostensibly to promote new Anistonian comedy "Wanderlust," Rudd and Fallon reminisced about all the movies they made this year that went unnoticed by critics and audiences alike.
They trotted out seven posters, each with a more brilliantly idiotic premise than the last. Get More »
Jonah Hill Wants a Piece of Matthew Morrison
Jonah Hill may have slimmed down drastically in recent months, but there's one thing about the funnyman that's just as big as ever: his sense of humor.
Hill appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" to promote his upcoming film "Moneyball" when the conversation took an unexpected turn.
The actor, who co-created the upcoming animated Fox series "Allen Gregory," was at an event for the network when he found himself the victim of an unlikely bully: Lima, Ohio's own purple piano-playing show choir enthusiast, otherwise known as "Glee" star Matthew Morrison. Get More »
The 8 Best 'Twilight' Parodies Ever Created by Mankind
There are more "Twilight" spoofs online than amateur porn. That's hyperbole. I'm a guy. I know the amount of porn out there, it's as vast as the stars and the skies. Still, while searching through endless bad parody videos, I felt like someone with an extremely rare fetish looking for a fix.
My more savvy readers (that means you) may be wondering what criteria I used in selecting the best ever "Twilight" parodies. Obviously, taste plays a part in all of these list articles, but I did establish certain standards for judging beyond "Did it make me laugh?" Get More »
Ricky Gervais Defends Golden Globes Performance; Stars Chime In
Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais has taken to his blog to dispel the controversy surrounding his scathing performance at last Sunday's awards show in Los Angeles.
"All the same conspiracy theories as last year too... 'So and so was offended'... 'hasn't been invited back yet'... exactly the same as last time," Gervais writes, referring to his previous Golden Globes hosting gig in 2010. "'Paul McCartney was furious'... no he wasn't. And nor was Tim Allen and Tom Hanks. I was drinking with them after." Get More »
Gwyneth Paltrow, Jimmy Fallon Reunite as '90s R&B Group Shazzazz
Gwyneth Paltow has come across a little cold over the last couple years. Or maybe gossip rags just paint her as someone she isn't. Some ice princess.
The good news is Paltrow's New Year's resolution appears to be "lighten up in 2011" or at least "show your true colors." Last night, she made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and performed -- again -- as a member of Shazzazz, the Fallon/Paltrow 80's/90's hip-hop/R&b duo. Get More »
