Jennifer Lawrence (a.k.a. America's lady crush) has been wowing our socks off for years now with those dramatic chops, but what we heart the most about the J.Law is her wicked sense of humor. Check out just about any random interview with her, and you'll find that the girl goes for the giggles. A LOT. Which is awesome and also why we're so very excited about her latest little role grab.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence has now nabbed a small cameo-ish part in the currently in-production comedy "Dumb and Dumber To." Get More »

'Dumb and Dumber To' Will Be (Somehow) Ickier than the First

Dumb & Dumber New Line

Oh boy are we in for it.

It's been almost 20 years since the Farrelly brothers cultivated a whole new meaning for the word "dumb" in their zany cross-country laugh riot "Dumb & Dumber" (yeah, twenty). And just in time for the big anniversary, Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are both back in the fold — and those financing kinks have all been sorted out, too —  to finally make a sequel happen with "Dumb and Dumber To."

According to Jeff Daniels, ye Lloyd and Harry faithful who've doubts about whether "To" can deliver the laughs can rest easy knowing that the Farrelly tag team has cooked up something really, er, special for 'em. Get More »

Breathe Easier, Planet Earth: Jeff Daniels Confirms 'Dumb And Dumber To'

While promoting his super pretentious HBO series "The Newsroom" on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Jeff Daniels, who at this point should be deemed a national treasure, told Fallon that he would indeed be back for a sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" (which by all accounts is being called "Dumb and Dumber To"). While Fallon essentially levitated out of his chair when Daniels confirmed the sequel's existence, he did temper that enthusiasm by saying, "I'll believe it when I'm staring Jim Carrey in the face." Awwww. So bromantic! Get More »

10 Great GIFs With 'Burt Wonderstone' Stars

Warner Bros. Warner Bros.

The rabbit is officially coming outta that hat as "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" makes way to your DVD, Blu-ray, Ultraviolet, digital platform or whatever other snazzy oooh and ahhh-worthy little devices the kids are using these days. And with a trick-wielding quartet such as this movie has — that'd be Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde and Steve Buscemi — copies are just bound to *poof* disappear right off the shelves just like ... ya know.

And, hey, the jury might still be out on which of these comical specimens is the most hilarious, within this movie and especially otherwise, but there's hardly any doubt they've each spent a lot of their careers hellbent on making us snort those way overpriced sodas right on out. Just imagine the showmanship and one-uppery that goes into the giggle-getting game.

It truly is a wonder, Burt.

So, to celebrate the vast buffet of humor here (and also because why the French not?), we've cataloged the ten funniest GIFs we've seen from the magical foursome so far. Shazam! Get More »

Jim Carrey Can't Support 'Kick Ass 2' Violence After Sandy Hook

Universal Pics. Universal Pics.

Jim Carrey might have reported for duty as the zany (and in desperate need of an upgraded dental plan) Colonel Stars and Stripes in Universal's second round of teen superhero a**-kickery — and, presumably, collected many shillings for the job — but this weekend, the gent had a total Grinch-goes-good moment with his heart growing two sizes too big to support the kinda slashin', bashin' and dashin' going down in "Kick-Ass 2." 'Dumb And Dumber To' Finds a Home

New Line New Line

Well, that didn't take too long.

Or is that "to" long?

Roughly a week after news broke that Warner Bros./New Line had gotten cold feet about the sequel to "Dumb and Dumber," Universal snapped up distribution rights to "Dumb and Dumber To." Red Granite, the moneybags behind "The Wolf of Wall Street," will pony up the $35 million Peter and Bobby Farrelly said they will need to direct the sequel, according to Deadline.

Thankfully both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are set to return -- unlike that weird prequel New Line trotted out in 2003. Warner will still get a chunk of the cash. Get More »

The 9 Most Against-Type Against Type Performances

The Bling Ring A24

This week the former star of "Harry Potter" gets hotter as the squeaky-clean Emma Watson shows off her inner bad girl in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring," where her character Nicki commits a series of robberies against celebs like Paris Hilton. For the 23-year-old Watson, who shot to fame as goodie-two-shoes wizard Hermione Granger in the "Potter" movies, this role marks a distinct departure from both her on-screen and real-life images. The only thing more shocking would be if Lindsay Lohan maintained sobriety for six months. Get More »

'Dumb and Dumber To' Too 'Dumb' for Warner Bros.?

Dumb & Dumber New Line

On the heels of the box-office failure of "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," at least one studio isn't betting on Jim Carrey right now.

Warner Bros. subsidiary New Line is not optimistic about the prospects for a sequel to Carrey's '90s hit "Dumb and Dumber," which co-starred Jeff Daniels. After years of false starts and rumors, both co-directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly and the two stars finally committed to come back. But now Warner Bros. has decided they don't want to finance it, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Get More »
