Jim Carrey Is 'Ricky Stanicky'

It's been kind of a mixed bag recently for Jim Carrey. On the one hand, his latest comedy, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," did an amazing disappearing act at the box office last month. On the other hand, he's been building up a lot of buzz for his scene-stealing role in the upcoming superhero satire "Kick-Ass 2." And on the third hand, he got himself embroiled in controversy yet again thanks to an unabashedly anti-NRA skit over on Funny Or Die.
But while Carrey has been up and down recently, he's about to get some big ups, as according to The Hollywood Reporter Carrey has just signed on to headline the new comedy "Ricky Stanicky." Get More »

Carell & Carrey Work Magic on 'MTV First: Burt Wonderstone'
Do you believe in magic? We sure hope you do — but even if you don't, we're sure to make believers out of you with "MTV First: The Incredible Burt Wonderstone."
Airing tonight at 7:56 p.m. ET, MTV's latest round of "MTV First" goodness takes two of the magic world's greatest rivals (or, at least, two of the comedy world's greatest talents playing two of the magic world's greatest rivals) and places them together on the same stage. "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" stars Steve Carell and Jim Carrey will be together in the hot seat, joining forces with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to present an on-air clip from their new comedy.
After that, they'll all stick together for a 30-minute sit-down interview airing on MTV.com. Carell and Carrey will be doing more than just answering Horowitz's silly line of questioning (yes, Josh, it really is important that you call them "illusions," not "tricks"), as they will be opening the floor for fan questions, too.
Jim Carrey Invades 'Argo'
Oscar-winning director Ben Affleck managed to make this year's Best Picture, "Argo," unforgettable, a sentiment with which the Academy clearly agreed. As exciting as the caper was throughout, it was the climax scene -- the great escape! -- that made the movie a commercial and critical success.
Would it have had the same resonance, though, if rubber-faced funnyman Jim Carrey bamboozled his way into the film? Well, it wouldn't necessarily have been as affecting, per se, but it sure would be a spectacle to watch, as proven in this "alternative ending" that throws Fire Marshall Bill into the mix. Get More »

Now, before you jump off Stark Tower, there are a coupld things to keep in mind.
