13 Hollywood Loopers

Columbia Pictures Columbia Pictures

The visual effects department had to do a pretty bang-up job to make Joseph Gordon-Levitt look even remotely similar to a young yippee ki-yaying mother-f---er Bruce Willis in Rian Johnson's time-hopping "Looper," but since Hollywood's baddest, baldest ass-kicker was blessed with three daughters and no sons in real life, there wasn't much of a choice. Sure, all that pain and suffering ultimately paid off, but there are some people who've got it way, way easier. Get More »

You'll Lurve this Alternate 'Silver Linings Playbook' Ending

David O. Russell's "Silver Linings Playbook" was a B.F.D. during this year's awards season, not just because it made Jennifer Lawrence a giant star — with meme fare to prove it — but also because it drew out all the feels.

With the eight-time Oscar-nominated flick poised to hit DVD next week, MTV now presents this exclusive glimpse at the film's alternate ending. In the new scene, the off-kilter little family unit's leader, Robert De Niro's obsessive Pat Sr., is having an outright conniption over the very presence of a Vikings shirt in his Eagles-only abode. The nerve of some people. Get More »

'American Bulls**t'? It's 'American Hustle' for Russell

Splash News Splash News

Director David O. Russell's much-fussed Abscam movie now has its title, and rather than the controversial (albeit arguably appropriate) original name "American Bulls**t," it's going to be called the much more palatable "American Hustle."

The new verbage is meant to reflect the story's true story-based premise — a con man and his mistress are teamed up with an FBI agent to run a sting operation on several corrupt politicians and criminals — but it also helps to remove the stigma of an expletive in neon lights turning away potential audiences. True Life: Rebel Wilson and Jennifer Lawrence Are Twins

[From MTVWondering where Jennifer Lawrence was during Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards? We were too, and we wonder if her absence doesn't have something to do with a remarkable new clip from MTV's "True Life"featuring Lawrence's twin sister, Katherine.

OK, we're kidding. It's not really Lawrence's sister; it's Movie Awards host Rebel Wilson, goofing simultaneously on the Oscar-winning A-lister and MTV's long-running docuseries. The "True Life: My Sister's Famous" short, which is a bonus skit from the Movie Awards, focuses on Katherine's life in her superstar sibling's shadow. "No, I'm not jealous of her, not one bit," Wilson says through clenched teeth. Get More »

Oscars 2013: When Katniss Met the Joker

It's fun to describe certain photos of celebrities with what pop culture characters they've played, whether they be from comic books, YA novels or fairy tale re-imaginings. You know, if you see a picture of Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway together, you can be all like, "Oh it's Wolverine and Catwoman!" Fun, right? For hours, man.

Well, the 85th Annual Academy Awards brought together two pop culture icons that we never thought would ever cross each other's paths: Katniss Everdeen and the Joker.

Jennifer Lawrence was the toast of the town at the Oscars this year — her awesome dress, her tripping up the steps to accept her award for Best Actress, her all-around Jennifer Lawrence-ness brought some fun and excitement to an otherwise very strange and ultimately kinda mediocre show. It makes complete sense that she would catch the eye of one of the most notorious lotharios in Hollywood, the man who's reportedly bedded hundreds of women — and a lot of 'em much younger than him, at that.

Watch Jack Nicholson interrupt Jennifer Lawrence's interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos — first without and then with his trademark Jack sunglasses. And watch Jennifer react as any hot young lady star would.

Thanks to Hypable for this bit of behind-the-scenes Oscar gold.
