What Do You Want to Know About 'The Mortal Instruments'?
We've been following the progress on Sony Screen Gems' "The Mortal Instruments" with bated breath for what seems like years now - inch by inch, casting announcement by casting announcement - so we're as amped as any Shadowhunter out there that things are finally underway for production on the book-to-film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's first installment "City of Bones," the same movie which you voted (overwhelmingly) to be summer 2013's most anticipated.
Even better, we'll be heading up to the Toronto set very shortly to get the goods on production from Cassie Clare herself - along with director Harald Zwart and the series' principle castmembers Lily Collins (Clary Fray), Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace Wayland), Robert Sheehan (Simon Lewis), Kevin Zegers (Alec Lightwood), Jemima West (Isabelle Lightwood) and Godfrey Gao (Magnus Bane) - and we'd love to hear what you'd like to know from the stars! Series author Cassandra Clare spilled the beans yesterday on her blog that French "The Borgias" actress Jemima West will portray the vixen shadowhuntress for the film, joining the already in-place castmembers Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins.
"She's beautiful (like whoa) and really talented," Clare wrote about West. "You can see her as Vittoria on 'The Borgias' right now. She had a lot of Izzy's toughness and directness in her audition. I like her." Get More »
