These days, unemployment is a big deal. Everyone up to and including President Barack Obama is debating the best way to help out of work Americans find jobs. So you would think that people who actually already have jobs would be happy about it.
Well, apparently not, because according to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day have all signed on for "Horrible Bosses 2."
Listen, guys. Killing your bosses once is one thing. But if you have to do it a second time, well, maybe the problem is actually you. Get More »
It's a fact of modern existence: The more you do online, the more you unwittingly reveal the details of your life to pretty much anybody who really wants to know. Everything you do leaves a digital trail and there's no telling who might be watching.
And just wait until they see you checking out the new trailer for the upcoming indie drama "Disconnect." Get More »
Oh man, what if Jason Bateman woke up one morning and found the posters that adorn his bedroom walls (you know his bedroom is decorated with his own movie posters) were replaced with these?
In "Identity Thief," Melissa McCarthy steals Bateman's credit card number and, from there, his very identity. But what if she didn't stop there? What if she continued her extortion of all that is Bateman beyond just the movie they starred in together? What if she snatched all of his movies (and at least one television show)?
Young Jason Bateman was born on January 14, 1969, and soon thereafter arrived on the scene as a child actor in "Little House on the Prairie" in the early '80s. He went on to star in other relatively nondescript TV movies and shows before ultimately landing the role of Michael Bluth, the everyman trapped by the absurdity of his ridiculous family in Fox's (now Netflix's) cherished "Arrested Development." Pray that Melissa McCarthy never gets hold of your credit card info.
No one can do put-upon quite like Jason Bateman, and the "Arrested Development" star doesn't look to be getting a break any time soon as he reunites with his "Horrible Bosses" director Seth Gordon for "Identity Thief," a comedy that puts him up against a much more formidable foe than Kevin Spacey this time around: the Oscar-nominated "Bridesmaids" scene-stealer. It's an age old axiom: If you want to catch a thief, you should hire a thief to do it. After all, nobody else knows the tricks of the trade as well. So naturally, if you want to catch superstar like Melissa McCarthy, who should you turn to but another big name superstar?
Well, according to Deadline, that's exactly what Universal has just done, as rapper and actor T.I. has joined the cast of "Identity Theft" in the role of a professional bounty hunter.
Sorry, Melissa. Looks like this is about to be case closed. Get More »
It's Year 11 for the Tribeca Film Festival, and it looks like the fest created by Robert De Niro is hitting its stride.
The 11-day event, which takes place April 18-29, has always been known for its flashy red- carpet premieres (this year's fest is bookended with the comedy "The Five-Year Engagement" and Marvel's latest “The Avengers”) and fun family fare (free Drive In screenings of "Jaws" and "The Goonies"). Tribeca is also branching out into the online world: For its second year, the festival will screen a handful of titles from this year's Tribeca Online Film Festival as well as stream some of its panels.
But if you like to watch your movies the old-fashioned way (in the theater), here are 15 titles from this year's fest that we think you should check out. Get More »
Kevin Covias is all grown up. The cherubic singer who finished 11th on the fifth season of "American Idol" when he was just 16 has officially crossed over—to the big screen, that is.

Penned by Craig Mazin ("The Hangover Part II") and Steve Conrad ("The Pursuit of Happyness"), the story follows a man whose life falls apart after his identity is stolen (Bateman). Get More »

For those of us who love "Freaks & Geeks" or "Bones" (and who doesn't?), it may be difficult to imagine John Francis Daley as anything other than an adorable, upbeat nerd, but it seems the star is taking a decidedly darker look at life these days.
Daley, along with his writing partner Jonathan Goldstein, is trying his hand at box office success once again with a sequel to his 2011 revenge comedy "Horrible Bosses." Get More »
