August With Anna Kendrick, Sadly Not Robert Pattinson
As summer comes to a close, I am forced to come to terms with the fact that I've had more misses than hits in August. In the fan girl world, you win some, you lose some.
Early in the month, I focused my efforts on the release of "ParaNorman" in hopes of a run-in with one of my favorite actresses, Anna Kendrick. I got the chance to meet Anna for the fifth time at her appearance on "Good Day New York" during her short stay in New York. As always, she was a doll.
The misses came back to back in the form of hot leading men. It started with Robert Pattinson, who was in New York for an entire week on a whirlwind press tour for "Cosmopolis." I put in two days of work trying to meet him, but to no avail. Next up was Jake Gyllenhaal, who is currently doing previews of his American stage debut, "If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet" off Broadway. Jake was a guest on "The Late Show With David Letterman" but, again, it was a bust. Get More »
Sibling Rivalry: Vote for Your Favorite Brothers and Sisters
They may be brothers and sisters in real life, but in the acting world, sibling actors are often fierce competitors. Sometimes they're even up for the same roles.
You could call these cases of sibling rivalry being played out on the big screen a real family affair, along the lines of "Mom always liked you best."
We've come up with a list of top actors who have competing brothers or sisters. Vote on your favorites of each brother-brother, brother-sister or sister-sister pairing -- and may the best siblings win. Get More »
Jake Gyllenhaal Sees Double For 'An Enemy'
Jake Gyllenhaal will soon be starting with the man in the mirror — or, rather, the man on the TV screen.
The former "Prince of Persia" will be reporting for double duty as he's in talks to take on two roles in the new thriller, "An Enemy," according to Variety.
"An Enemy," which is based on Jose Saramago's novel, "The Double," follows a history teacher who rents a DVD and discovers that one of the minor characters is his exact double, at least from five years prior. The teacher tracks down his double and subsequently turns both their lives upside down. Get More »
Jeremy Renner Speeds Past Competition For 'Motor City'
He's battled bombs in Baghdad and bank tellers in Boston, but is he ready for Detroit?
Indie Wire reports that the "Hurt Locker" star is in talks to take on the lead role in "The Book of Eli" director Albert Hughes' upcoming "Motor City."
Hughes, who's directing the flick under his own name and not his usual Hughes Brothers team, has been trying to get the movie made for quite some time now, but has had some bad luck getting his stars to stay. Actors including Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Evans, and Dominic Cooper have previously been cast in the role, but have all dropped out for one reason or another. Get More »
Jake Gyllenhaal Kills It In New Music Video
Jake Gyllenhaal has played heroes ("Prince of Persia"), soldiers ("Jarhead"), cowboys ("Brokeback Mountain") and romantics ("Love and Other Drugs"), but no matter what role he takes on, one thing remains the same: He's just a little bit off-kilter.
You know what we mean; he's got a little bit of those crazy eyes, right?
Which makes his new role as a music video serial killer strangely believable. Get More »
Jake Gyllenhaal Won't Be Heading For 'Motor City'
UPDATE: Jake Gyllenhaal won't be replacing Dominic Cooper in the dialogue-free crime drama, "Motor City," after all. Deadline reports that negotiations fell through due to scheduling conflicts.
Stay tuned for news on who will end up being silent but deadly as the framed ex-con in the Dark Castle production being directed by Albert Hughes.

Jake Gyllenhaal just has one of those faces, you know?
The guy almost doesn't even have to talk at all in his movies because his super-expressive face pretty much says it all. And according to Variety, that makes him the perfect pick to replace Dominic Cooper in the upcoming dialogue-free action film "Motor City." Get More »
GALLERY: The CIA's 15 Sexiest Spies (in Movies)
Is there anything sexier than a spy? We shouldn't dig a person who lies for a living as much as we do, but we just can't help it. It's the specialized skills, the crisp wardrobes, the high IQs and the ability to blend in, adapt and fight at a moment's notice. Oh, and there's the whole master/mistress of seduction thing. No one seems to be able to show a girl (or guy!) a good time like a secret agent!
Naturally, we're jealous of Reese Witherspoon's spy-on-spy action in "This Means War." Not only is she juggling Chris Pine and Tom Hardy (when we'd be happy with just one of them), but they're both badass CIA operatives, which guarantees every date is more exciting than if either were accountants.
To console ourselves, we've put together a gallery of 15 of the CIA's sexiest spooks. We don't care if they would have to kill us afterward – we'd happily go undercover with any one of them.

Who says Hollywood doesn't know sports? With Super Bowl XLVI just days away, many in the movie biz are showing their true colors in preparation for the big game. But the fandom elevates when two storied teams like the New York Giants and the New England Patriots face off.
Here, we take a look at 10 die-hard celebrity fans for each team. Based on this study alone, the Patriots fans may be better-looking; but if a fight were to break out at the bar this weekend, we'd want these Giants fans to have our back.
