Killer Blu-ray Art For 'House at the End of the Street'

House at the End of the Street on Blu-ray 20th Century Fox

It's Jennifer Lawrence ... in your FACE!

Just in time for Halloween, we've got the exclusive details on the upcoming Blu-ray release of "House at the End of the Street," the suburban thriller starring the "Hunger Games" beauty as the New Girl in Town who becomes involved with the mysterious Boy Next Door (Max Thieriot).

The original theatrical poster for "House at the End of the Street" was certainly impressive with its minimalist old-school horror imagery (complete with Jennifer in the required Scream Queen uniform of white T-shirt and jeans) but this artwork for the Blu-ray is even more striking with its rather extreme close-up of the heroine and more sinister title design. Next Factor Q&A: 'House at the End of the Street' Star Max Thieriot

Max Thieriot Getty Images

Max Thieriot is not even 24 years old but has already worked with notable directors like Doug Liman, Atom Egoyan, Wes Craven and Nick Cassavetes. Thieriot made his big-screen debut in 2004's "Catch That Kid" opposite Kristen Stewart, with whom he remains close friends. You might recognize him as the younger version of Hayden Christensen's character in "Jumper" and for roles in movies like the horror film "My Soul to Take" and the psychosexual drama "Chloe."

In the thriller "House at the End of the Street," Thieriot plays a young man, Ryan, who lives in said house where both of his parents were brutally murdered. This has rendered him an outcast in the small community, but that doesn’t seem to bother Elissa (Jennifer Lawrence), who's moved in down the street with her overprotective mother (Elisabeth Shue) and who feels connected to Ryan. Is he really a nice guy who just had bad things happen to him or does mother know best?

We caught up with Thieriot just before "House at the End of the Street" opens in theaters on Friday and asked him important questions like how to pronounce his last name, how sexy it was or wasn't to play Hunger Games with Jennifer Lawrence's face on camera and his enduring friendship with K.Stew. House at the End of the Street Rogue Pictures

You probably already are in love with the "Hunger Games" star. However, you may now find yourself even more enamored after watching this sort-of music video from her new horror flick.

Jennifer Lawrence shows off her musical chops in this sneak peek at a song from the soundtrack of "House at the End of the Street." While we knew ahead of time that Lawrence had what it takes to make a fine Scream Queen, we didn't know her vocal talents also included being able to carry a tune! It seems like she can handle that axe pretty well, too. Get More »

Jennifer Lawrence Senses Evil in New 'HATES' Clip

Can't a girl just do the dishes without some potential villainy lurking about?

Jennifer Lawrence is stuck in a horror movie in MTV's exclusive clip from "House at the End of the Street" (or "HATES," as it's affectionately referred to on Twitter and the like). Horror movies call for the tanktop-wearing heroine to walk toward the danger instead of away from it; this is why she's inspired to investigate the strange noise that came from outside rather than just to, you know, hide under the bed.

Yeah, there's going to be some good jump scares in this one. "House at the End of the Street" opens Sept. 21.
