Ever wonder if Emma Watson is a "Game of Thrones" fan? Her newest project points to "yes."

With two movies in theaters this week and many more in production, Emma Watson is a busy girl. But it's only about to get busier for the 23-year-old actress, who is returning to her "Harry Potter" roots with another fantasy franchise.

The "Bling Ring" actress will star in — and executive produce — "The Queen of the Tearling", based on Erika Johansen's upcoming book trilogy (first novel to be released next year). Watson will reunite with "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman, who will produce the films, as well as Warner Bros., which has acquired film rights to the entire book series.

Johansen's trilogy has been compared to George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga — which, of course, is the literary backbone of HBO's crazy-popular show, "Game of Thrones".

Set three centuries after an environmental catastrophe, "The Queen of the Tearling" tells the tale of 19-year-old Kelsea Glynn (played by Watson), who must defeat the malevolent Red Queen to reclaim her deceased mother's throne.

The film adaptation is still in its earliest stages of development, so keep an eye out for further cast and crew announcements.

For now, Watson will enjoy her reign as queen of "The Bling Ring", which premieres in New York and Los Angeles today.  (Happy "Bling Ring" Day!).

Vine

Vine is to YouTube what flash fiction is to the short story, and the increasingly popular little video app is gaining a lotta traction in the movie biz right about now because, well, there's a ton of hilarity potential.

Sure, one could make a series of hoity-toity Tribeca Film Festival-worthy six-second shorts with the program, too (yawn), but who wouldn't rather see things like rap song/ Disney movie mashups and random celebrity impersonation samples and brief homemade movie reboots?

What makes Vine a legit thing right now is that it's giving people the giggles with the zen-iest bare bones of visuals, and like McD's we're totally lovin' it.

So we won't even pretend that the process of ferreting out the nine most LOL-able flick-centric Vines so far was in any way painstaking. 'Cause it wasn't. We pretty much just giggled maniacally for hours. Enjoy!

9. 'Aladdin' is straight flexin'

The "G" status of "Aladdin" was never a secret, really; it was just all that quaint "Whole New World" song-slinging and starry magic carpet night-riding that got things turned around. That little street rat always knew that the loot and ladies take priority, which is why he went after the richest gal in the kingdom as soon as he had a magic genie "in." More importantly, he was always straight flexin'.

8. Arnold Schwarzenegger driving

Lingering on the subject of muscle-rippage, this guy Will Sasso's Google search results stock jumped sky-high once he started releasing these brief but hysterical vocal impersonations of Arnold Schwarzenegger. And he's not taking the "I'll be back" easy road with 'em either. In fact, the Governator never sounded so perceptive as when making keen (but faux) notes like, "Look at that tree." Hilarz.

7. 'Jurassic Park' remake

Pretty fast and loose with the word "epic" here, but even still this poochy "Jurassic Park" reboot pretty much just owns. And, you know, it has been almost 20 years on the nose since the original, so by modern Hollywood standards the film is totally ripe for remake. If it's as tail-wagging as this, we won't object. 

6. Mini-Me is not hungry, nor does he want to make a Vine

In algebraic terms, stop-motion animation plus Vine is equal to or greater than bread times butter. In this "Austin Powers" redux, the only thing putty Mini-Me wants to do is pet his little hairless kitty cat. He's certainly not hungry, and he sure as heck doesn't want to make a Vine. Oh well!

5. Harry Potter wannabe flies around the house

Uh-oh, it's magic, ya know? Since we can't technically visit Hogwarts or fly on broomsticks a la that handy-dandy "Harry Potter" summoning charm, here's the next best thing. Although it was probably a pretty tedious process of this beanie and jammy-clad dude hopping around the house for hours, the few seconds of video flight glory produced were totally worth it, we're sure.

4. Dorothy's just tryin' to find her way back home

First of all, this "Dead and Gone" song is incredibly on point, and secondly, who knew how much swagger Dorothy and her little ruby slippers had goin' on? This changes literally everything. We know that it's a stoner thing to watch "The Wizard of Oz" with "The Dark Side of the Moon," but maybe a little hip hop action would spice up the, uh, experience a little bit.

3. 'War of the Worlds' via elementary students

Even H.G. Wells would probably be pretty proud of what these kids did with this stop-motion "War of the Worlds" Vine. Simple, effective and brilliant. How much was Steven Spielberg's budget again? If it was more than, say, $11 it was clearly more than necessary.  

2. Homemade 'Star Trek Into Darkness' trailer

It looks like all you need for a successful film trailer is a packet of thick-cut construction paper and some good old-fashioned elbow grease. This homemade "Star Trek Into Darkness" trailer is not comedic in the traditional sense, but we sure did get a kick out of the paper Enterprise taking a nose dive.

1. Ryan Gosling won't eat his cereal

Hey Girl is for the Tumblr crowd, but this hilarious Ryan Gosling pun series is exactly the kind stuff we Vine-rs are hunting for to occupy those precious few moments we have to spare for the sake of pure entertainment. So far, the Gos has snubbed his Shredded Wheat in at least nine different ways, so it's a good thing he's retiring from the movie biz 'cause otherwise this food refusal flick fare might never find its end.

D.J., cue up that cringe-worthy Vitamin C song because it's graduation time again! Right now hundreds of thousands of 22-year-olds are currently being degreed up and sent off into the real world ... job market issues and excessive student loan interest rates notwithstanding, of course.

Thing is, class, this isn't your grandpa's Bachelor of Arts program anymore. Nowadays even the most esteemed colleges are catering their coursework offerings — in title, if nothing else — to pique the interest of their student pools.

Oh, you don't want that fifteenth Psych 101 session to get cut? Well give it some pizzazz already, teach!

Lo and behold, the movie world has been an academic boon in making that happen, and now students are traipsing across the stage with some pretty bizarre classes on their transcripts ... including these nine, very strange film-related ones. Consider us jeal of anyone who actually, like, legitimately for real got credit for these, the lucky little buggers.

9. 'Star Wars': A Complete Saga? — Univ. of N. Carolina, Wilmington

If you want to get real nerdy-derdy about the "Star Wars" film series, then Master Yoda Instructor Mika Elovaara is your man. His Graduate Liberal Studies 592 course investigates the whole "galaxy far, far away" and promises to straight up school you on all-things George Lucas ... and how the six movies are just a fragment of the "Complete Saga" that is the spacey franchise.

8. Science From Superheroes to Global Warming — Univ. of California, Irvine

Before signing up for this course, Professor Michael Dennin asks, "Have you ever wondered if Superman could really fly? What was Spider-Man's spidey sense? How did Wonder Woman's invisible jet work?" U.C. Irvine's Physics 21 course really wants to bridge the gap between the current comic-centric film revolution and what's going on with the more boring stuff in science like, say, global warming. Marvel-ous idea, we must say.

7. What if Harry Potter is Real? — Appalachian State Univ.

Oh em gee, can you even imagine? Potterheads among us can only dream of a visit to Hogwarts right now, but what if Platform 9 3/4 was a real thing? And what if witches and wizards really were duking it out in-between our two alternating realities, thusly deciding the fate of the entire muggle world once and for all? App. State's potions and dark arts-themed first-year seminar class draws from the "Harry Potter" series in evaluating issues like race, gender and penning scholarly essays. You know, it'd be a lot easier to crank out that term paper if they went ahead and gave students some of those neat-o magic quills, too.

6. Philosophy and 'Star Trek' — Georgetown

What does it mean to live long and prosper, we wonder? Seriously, in her Philosophy 180 class, Professor Linda Wetzel utilized the "Star Trek" series as way of slinging some knowledge on metaphysics and epistemology. So, basically, a little "I greet therefore I am" action, we're guessing? For three credits at Georgetown University (!!), students explored matters like "Could we go back and kill our grandmothers?" and "Is Data a person?"

5. American Superheroes: Power, Politics and Morality — Tufts University

In another instance making good on the Caped Crusader's relevance, Professor Matthew Pustz (author of "Comic Book Culture: Fanboys and True Believers") dares to explore another aspect of all this rampant "Iron Man" kid-costuming and what not. "What does the new-found popularity of superhero narratives tell us about American society at the beginning of the 21st century?" he wonders in the experimental one-credit course. It's a good question, and if we were up in Boston right about now, we'd be signing up for this bad boy instead of writing about it.

4. Invented Languages: Klingon and Beyond — Univ. of Texas, Austin

But of course there are students who wanna be able to recite sweet nothings to their, uh, Manti T'eo-esque girlfriends in Klingon. And U.T.'s Linguistics 312 class is here to serve ... sort of. While it's not an out-and-out instructional course on the odd "Star Trek" language, it does use the alien tongue as a vessel for exploring the history of Earthly languages.

3. Biology of 'Jurassic Park' — Hood College

This might be a case of bait-and-switchery, but if it's not, boy are the students of Hood College's Biology 110 section in for a "Jurassic Park"-sized thrill. No, they won't soon find themselves elbow-deep in dino droppings or comparing the velociraptor's little bark to the bedroom noises of tortoises, but they might just learn a little something or other about the sciences and behaviors of the long-dead creatures, much like Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler did on their little island trek. Two questions remain unanswered: Will they try to hatch a raptor egg as the final exam and is there a field trip to Universal Orlando's River Adventure involved?

2. Breaking the Rules: An Intellectual Discussion of 'Fight Club' — Oberlin College

The first rule of "Fight Club" is ... well, you know, and just like the course title suggests, instructor Elizabeth Campbell is totally willing to bend it in order to make use of Chuck Palahniuk's bloody masterpiece. Brought to you by the same school which offers classwork on "The Office" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," this Experimental College 467 business dares to "dissect" the satirical work and, gasp, compare the book to its resulting film.

1. Goldberg's Canon: Makin' Whoopi — Bates College

There's a lot to learn about Whoopi Goldberg and not just the fact that her birth name was Caryn Elaine Johnson (as one might suspect, her stage name comes from, yes, the whoopee cushion). Her life and career can serve to teach lessons on all kinds of things, like winning the coveted "EGOT" and life in communist East Germany. So, Bates College has offered up a rhetoric symposium on all things Whoopi Goldberg, with sessions like "What Part of Whoopi Is You?" and "Lesbian Whoopi and the AIDS Lie."

It's an age old question, debated by sages and philosophers for centuries: What would happen if you put "Harry Potter" stars Bill Nighy and Domhnall Gleeson together in a time travel caper? And now, thanks to The Telegraph, we finally know the answer: You'd get the first trailer for the new indie rom-com "About Time."

You would also get solid confirmation of Rachel McAdams' time travel fetish.

McAdams, you may recall, played the spouse of a time traveler in the aptly named romance "The Time Traveler's Wife." And this time around she is again being wooed by a chronally challenged suitor, namely Domhnall Gleeson, who is probably best known to most fans as Bill Weasley from the "Harry Potter" films.

Which also makes this a bit of a reunion, as Nighy — who plays Gleeson's doting dad and mentor in timefoolery — is also a "Potter" alum, having memorably portrayed doomed Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour.

So will the two make movie magic once again in "About Time?" Check out the new trailer and see for yourself. And trust us: When it comes to your own timeline, this will be 2:28 well very spent.

In an effort to create further evidence that any activity can look effortlessly glamorous, Prince William and Kate Middleton engaged in a giggly wizard fight on their recent tour of Leavesden Studios, famously known as one of the primary filming locations of the "Harry Potter" films. Honestly, it couldn't look any better if they meticulously choreographed it — the poise, the synchronized timing, the flirty "oh, you think you can defeat me?!" facial expression Kate flashes Prince William as their royal wands meet (see below) —  it’s almost too perfect. In fact, it's almost hypnotic, like a battle of charm that perpetually begins yet never seems to commence. Whatever spell they both just cast, we caught it, and it is glorious.

Prince Harry, bless him, even nails the J.K. Rowling-approved "swish and flick" wand motion. In a word: magical.

[From Film.com] Richard Griffiths, whose face was instantly known to tens of millions of film fans around the world as the arbitrarily cruel and sadistically bumbling parental figure Uncle Vernon Dursley in the "Harry Potter" films, has died from complications following heart surgery according to Film.com. He was 65.

After beginning his career in radio and television, Griffiths rose to fame in 1987 as Uncle Monty in the cult classic black comedy "Withnail & I." In 2007 he earned a BAFTA nomination for the film "The History Boys," while in 2008 he was awarded the prestigious Order of the British Empire.

But for most fans he's known for playing Harry's comically obtuse Uncle Dursley. "Any room he walked into was made twice as funny and twice as clever just by his presence," Daniel Radcliffe said in a statement. "I am proud to say I knew him."

Changing appearances for the sake of entertainment is nothing new in Hollywood; it's all part of the gig. But when professional heartthrob Ryan Gosling tweaks his look, disgruntled fans are going to have something to say about it.

In "The Place Beyond the Pines," Gosling sports a bleach-blond 'do for his role as a motorcycle racer-turned-bank robber. As photos started surfacing during the film's production, people were wondering what the heck was going on with his hair. Serious drama.

But since Gosling isn't the first to drastically dye his hair for a film, we rounded up a few other male counterparts who didn't necessarily pull off going blond, to make him (and everyone else) feel a little better about it.

Javier Bardem, 'Skyfall'

Lucky for Bardem, the character of Raoul Silva in the 007 flick was just as eerie as his haircut and color. Some called it "deliciously wicked," while others compared him to characters like Stuart Smalley on SNL. The only real travesty about Bardem's golden locks in "Skyfall," though, was that he was snubbed from getting a golden trophy for his performance as one of the creepiest villains ever.
Better or Worse Blond: If we had to choose between his hair in this film or "No Country For Old Men," Silva wins by a skyfall … er, landslide.

Nicolas Cage, 'Drive Angry'

In "Drive Angry," Cage escapes from Hell to vindicate his daughter's murder and find his kidnapped granddaughter. Maybe because he came from Hell, there was a need to make him look like it, too, because when Cage showed up to WonderCon back in 2010 with fried, shoulder-length blond hair, the masses were asking, "WTF?" Internet polls on his new look surfaced soon after, but the Washington Post nailed it when they suggested the "hair-do was no 'National Treasure.'"

Wesley Snipes, 'Demolition Man'

Wesley Snipes may have played the ultra-violent Simon Phoenix in "Demolition Man," but he gave some people a hearty laugh thanks to his unfortunate coiffe in the film. Named one of the "worst celebrity blond hair moments" ever, one critic couldn't get in enough ROTFLs when talking about Snipes' "Demolition" hair.

Bradley Cooper, 'Hit & Run'

Obviously, Cooper's bleached dreadlocks in "Hit & Run" weren't taken into consideration when he was voted "Sexiest Man Alive." Playing a bank robber with terrible style (yellow-tinted sunglasses included), one has to wonder what's up with giving the bad guys a crappy blond look. Chalking it up to a casting choice by Dax Shepherd, one website said he had "a lot to answer for" after making Cooper so "unrecognizable."

Jared Leto, 'Fight Club'

Everything about "Fight Club" is so badass that even when Jared Leto appeared as Angel Face with his platinum hair and eyebrows, it wasn't as much of a shock as it was with those who've done it before him. While no one seemed to mind the change in hair or brow color — especially since he tends to be a chameleon on-screen and on-stage — it really didn't matter since his face was bashed in so hard during one fight scene that anything else was barely noticeable.
Better or Worse Blond: Factoring in the broken nose and non-existent eyebrows, worse.

Robert Downey Jr. & Jack Black, 'Tropic Thunder'

Downey Jr. had a lot more going on in "Tropic Thunder" than just switching up his hair color. After starting off as a blond white guy, his character completely changed skin color in order to score the black male lead in a Vietnam War film. Debatable which way he looked better, but Downey Jr. may have been trumped by Jack Black's platinum spiked 'do. Maybe Black should've kept his hair blond long past the film's wrap, because his makeover had him being compared to the likes of David Beckham and Brad Pitt.
Better or Worse Blond: Downey — meh. Black — if it makes him look like Beckham or Pitt, then better.

Matt Damon, 'Invictus'

In "Invictus," Damon plays the captain of a South African Rugby team that he leads to victory. He bulked up and dyed his hair for the role, but apparently his hair wasn't up to par with what "Rugby Hair" should be, and there's even a site dedicated to just that. Questioning whether Damon perfected the right hair for the part, RugbyHair.com criticized him for not getting the "post match brushed-forward, tuft-on-top, blond hair with natural dark roots" look at all.
Better or Worse Blond: Worse, only because the experts over at Rugby Hair say he did it all wrong.

Peter Facinelli, 'Twilight'

If it's one thing that stood out from the pale skin and awkward eye color in the "Twilight" films, it was the shock of all that plus the color of Peter Facinelli's hair. During an interview, he admitted he'd never gone that blond for a role, saying, "When I was blond ... a lot of the guys wanted to kick my ass. You look like a pansy, and you could tell I was in the salon for six hours."
Better or Worse Blond: So much worse. Avoid the ass-kicking, Fac, and never do it again.

Kellan Lutz, 'Syrup'

Long gone is the pale, dark vampire Emmett Cullen. For his upcoming role in "Syrup," a drama about a marketing grad who comes up with a million-dollar concept, Lutz switched gears and hit the other end of the color spectrum. Taking it to back in the day, he drew comparisons to Justin Timberlake's *NSync moments of frosty tipped curls, even getting called a "hot mess" after stepping out with a blond 'fro.

Guy Pearce, 'Memento'

It may seem unfair to focus on hair in "Memento" when there are so many brilliant other things about the Christopher Nolan thriller, but regardless of what Pearce looked like, the film was a success. 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes? Check. Oscar noms? Check. Guy Pearce giving an awesome performance, regardless of bad hair? Check.

Tom Felton, 'Harry Potter'

It's almost hard to imagine what Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy, looks like outside of his glorious platinum evilness. Having played Potter's bully for close to ten years, Felton was pretty much locked to bleached blondness for a long, long time. He even said that he'd been dying his hair for so long, he "couldn't remember" its natural color. Consensus rules: one poll voted him 68 percent better as a blond.
Better or Worse Blond: We're used to it, and agree with the masses. Better.

Ryan Reynolds, 'Paper Man'

The other Canadian Ryan bleached his hair long before Gosling had to. Prior to his days as the Green Lantern, Reynolds played an imaginary superhero with an interesting getup in "Paper Man." And just like Gosling, he can also claim Emma Stone as a co-star ... she, too, had a role in the forgotten film. While no one knows what happened to "Paper Man" after it played the festival circuit, Slash Film seemed to find Reynolds "goofy," but "super-charming as the bleach-blond and spandex-clad superhero."

Josh Hutcherson, 'The Hunger Games'

Peeta's blondness wasn't going to change just because a dark-haired actor was cast in the book-to-movie role. So when Josh Hutcherson stepped out with his hair all light and whatnot, no one was quite sure how to feel about the fake-looking dye job. Acceptable or not, Hutcherson bleached it all over again for the next film in the "Hunger Games" series, "Catching Fire."

Chris Hemsworth, 'Thor'

The Australian Hemsworth is already fair-haired, so there weren't many complaints about the long bleached locks he sported to play the Marvel Comics superhero. Listen up, Potterheads. No means no, k?

That's the message of this clever "Harry Potter"-themed PSA poster, which instructs muggles the world over that love potions (for non-wizards: alcohol and/or drugs) do not a consenting adult make.

"Coercion through magic is illegal," the poster warns. "Combined with the use of love potions it is rape." Sponsored by the Ministry of Magic, the ad requests reporting of all purchases of Ashwinder eggs, rose thorns and Moonstones (for those unfamiliar with J.K. Rowling's lore, these are the three central ingredients of her fictional Love Potions).

The artist wrote on tumblr that the message is serious, though the approach may not be:

Though this poster may seem humorous by nature, it was not intended as a joke because not only are rape jokes disgusting but I am as serious about my love for all things Harry Potter as I am about my stance on social and sexual politics. Rape is an unpleasant but extremely relevant topic in our times and combating its culture is as important in the magical world as in the muggle world, so I hope that every child will be taught that using a love potion that comes in a can with a percentage on it is just as bad.

Rowling herself even brought up issues of consent in the books: The Dark Lord himself, Voldemort, was conceived while his father was under a love spell. Said Rowling of that significance, "The enchantment under which Tom Riddle fathered Voldemort is important because it shows coercion, and there can't be many more prejudicial ways to enter the world than as the result of such a union."

So, yeah, the lesson is to keep all romantic entanglements on the up and up.

UPDATE: Emma Watson has turned down "Cinderella," according to a tweet by Marc Graser of Variety. Probably because she wants to do more bad girl things.

Ever since "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" wrapped up the wildly popular series two years ago, fans and industry insiders alike have been placing bets on which of the franchise's three young stars would go on to have the biggest career in Hollywood. And so far, they've all done okay for themselves. Rupert Grint is making indies and riding around in his ice cream truck while Daniel Radcliffe has appeared in major Broadway shows and offbeat films like the Sundance fave "Kill Your Darlings." And Emma Watson?

Well, according to Variety, Watson may become the first of the gorup to headline her own major blockbuster, as the starlet is in talks to play the title role in Disney's live action adaptation of their classic animated hit "Cinderella."

Ten points for Gryffindor! Emma!

As it is, Watson hasn't exactly been slacking, earning rave reviews for her role in last fall's acclaimed coming of age drama "The Perks of Being a Wallflower. And she's already finished filming roles in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming biblical epic "Noah" and Seth Rogen's apocalyptic comedy "This Is the End."

The leading role in "Cinderella," though, would be on an entirely different order of magnitude than those films. Disney, after all, has been making hay with live action adaptations, with 2010's "Alice in Wonderland" earning over a billion dollars worldwide and this month's "Oz the Great and Powerful" set to top the box office as well.

Plus, the part would reunite her with her "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" co-star Kenneth Branagh, who played Professor Gilderoy Lockhart and who is set to direct "Cinderella."

Of course, nothing is set in stone; several other actresses have already had talks for the role break down, including the likes of Imogen Poots and "Anna Karenina's" Alicia Vikander. Still, the role seems perfect for Emma, both creatively and as a vehicle to propel her back to the top of Hollywood's A-list — this time without any help from The Boy Who Lived.

Back in the 1980s, Harrison Ford became an international superstar by headlining two of the biggest franchises of all time, "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones." And in the '90s, it was Samuel L. Jackson who became a ubiquitous presence in just about every major blockbuster, from "Pulp Fiction" to "Die Hard with a Vengeance." So which of today's stars can boast a similar resume?

Would you believe Bill Nighy?

Yes, it's hard to believe, but the respected and respectable 63-year-old British thespian has somehow become one of the hippest, coolest and most bankable stars in Hollywood. Case in point: He's about to appear in the upcoming fantasy epic "Jack the Giant Slayer." Unlike Ford and Jackson, however, he's managed to keep his ascendance on the down low, to the point where you may not even be aware that he is in literally every movie you like.

Don't believe us? Then check out some of these clips — and see why Bill Nighy has become the most unexpected superstar in film.

"Pirates of the Caribbean:" The franchise that really put Nighy on the pop culture map, "Pirates of the Caribbean" may be best known for the leading trio of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but it's safe to say that some of the most memorable moments actually came courtesy of Nighy as the villainous Davy Jones. Take a look at this rare clip showing just how they added all those creepy face tentacles:

"Harry Potter:" of course, any hardcore Potter fan worth their salt knows that Nighy played the part of doomed Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, who pops up in the seventh film to lend a helping hand (well... sort of...) to Harry and company. Here's one of his most iconic scenes, as the embattled Minister attempts to calm the magic world in the wake of Lord Voldemort's latest attacks:

"Shaun of the Dead:" One of the rare efforts where Nighy isn't buried under makeup or hidden behind animation, in "Shaun of the Dead" Nighy plays Simon Pegg's curmudgeonly step father Philip. The two don't see eye to eye until Philip's last few moments of life, where they finally have a touching heart to heart. And then, since "Shaun of the Dead" is a zombie movie, this happens:

"Love Actually:" This cult classic 2003 romcom nominally stars Hugh Grant as the Prime Minister of Great Britain. Yeah, whatever. The real star, of course, is Nighy, who steals the show right from the opening scene as an aging rock star selling his soul to get one last big hit. Here's the opening scene, complete with Nighy dropping some very choice and ungentlemanly words. We love it:

"Flushed Away:" Perhaps impressed by Nighy's ability to inhabit a character completely covered in octopus goo, DreamWorks hired Nighy to voice the character of the thuggish mouse Whitey in the 2006 animated hit "Flushed Away." Once again, Nighy is more than up to the task, as you can see in the trailer for the film:

"Underworld:" Reviews for the goth vampire series "Underworld" pretty much follow a simple arc: The films that prominently feature Nighy get decent reviews and the ones that marginalize Nighy get crappy reviews. Much as we love Kate Beckinsale's slinky killer Selene, we have to say that Nighy's complex and creepy vampire lord Viktor is out favorite. Here he is explaining why the fact that he murdered Selene's entire family was basically just an early Christmas present:

"Rango:" In 2011's "Rango," Nighy re-teamed with "Pirates of the Caribbean" director Gore Verbinski and co-star Johnny Depp for an old fashioned Western that happens to feature talking lizards. And the chemistry between Depp and Nighy was a great as ever, as the two once again went head to head. Here are some of the top moments featuring his sinister serpent, Rattlesnake Jake:

"Wrath of the Titans:" Okay, so 2010's "Clash of the Titans" was an epic stinkbomb. But if you haven't checke dout last year's sequel, "Wrath of the Titans," you might be surprised to hear that it's not all that bad. Why? Well, most of the credit goes, naturally, to Nighy, who plays the deranged god Hephaestus with a twinkle in his eye. Yes, that's right: Nighy is so amazing he even managed to save this horrible franchise:

The "Harry Potter" LEGO video games were just okay, really, but this is what we call amazeballs.

A Seattle woman named Alice Finch conjured up about 400,000 LEGO blocks to create this gigantic and oh-so-magical rendition of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry last October and went on to win two big prizes at LEGO's BrickCon 2012. Now that she's got it pieced back together in her own home, she's opened up with a few details on just how much brick-building sorcery went into making this uber-detailed piece.

Finch told the Brick Brothers, "I did quite a bit of research in the books and movies looking for the smallest of details, things like the old fashioned slide projector in Lupin’s Defense Against the Dark Arts class, the location of the potions class, and the wood paneling in the charms classroom."

She was also faced some pretty tough construction choices when it came to differences between the books and movies, like with the placement of the Gryffindor common room, for instance (she went with the more visually dynamic movie variation there).

Most importantly, there was a considerable investment involved here... both time and dolla, dolla bills ya'll. For the latter, she said, "I do not know how much it costs and I don’t really want to know." Stupendo! Because the important thing here is that we "Harry Potter" nerds now have a zillion details to ogle here with Finch's concoction, like this impressive portion of the the trio taking that bloody Polyjuice...

Harry Potter or Beyoncé? That's basically us asking you to go all King Solomon on us, isn't it? It's an impossible choice to make: whiz kid wizard vs. Destiny's number one Child.

Luckily, Nebraskan songbird Mandy Maynard has combined the two, mashing up B's ground-stomping ballad, "Halo," with the story of The Boy Who Lived to make the most amazing Harry Potter parody we've heard to date. "Hallows" is basically what you'd get if Weird Al was a really pretty blonde chick in wire-rimmed glasses with a scar on her forehead. So, basically, not Weird Al at all.

While we're at it, we'd like to put it out there that if our other favorite Mandy (Ms. Moore, that is) feels like returning to music anytime soon, we'd be game. And, yes, we realize she's a Serious Actress now, but even a Mandy Moore Funny or Die original wouldn't hurt, maybe one about "The Hobbit"?

No, "Unaccompanied Minor" isn't the name of her latest film (though it does have a certain ring to it)—it's how customs agents at JFK mistakenly identified her when she flew into the airport over the Christmas holidays.

The "Harry Potter" star, who's been able to legally drink in the states for over a year at this point, revealed the incident herself through a series of Twitter posts. As reported by the New York Daily News, Watson said the agents asked where her parent or legal guardian was as she made her way through customs. She lamented, "The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this happened."

But how did it go down this time? According her tweets, it went something like this: "Passport control: 'Unaccompanied minor?' Me: 'Sorry?' Passport control: 'Where is ur (your) guardian?' Me: 'I'm 22!!!!!!'"

She did learn something from her experience, however. "Never wearing a backpack again," she declared. Now, while we're happy she took away such a valuable lesson, we're also kind of bummed for her... because backpacks are a wonderful way to travel.

But who knows, now that she's become such an international style icon, maybe some enterprising fashion house will design a custom backpack just for her that's sophisticated enough for an actress who has reached the ripe old age of 22.

Yes, he's all sharp angles and she's soft and apple-cheeked, but those sad, sad eyes make it clear that they belong to each other.

Who They Play: Divorced New York City mom Meg Altman and her asthma-suffering tween Sarah.

Why It Works: In a delicious bit of meta-casting, Gore Verbinski scored the casting coup of the '00s by convincing the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist to play Johnny Depp's on-screen dad. After all, audiences and critics had been raving for years about how much Depp played Sparrow like a pirate version of Richards. Depp and Richards in their guyliner, dreads and beloved pirate hats is one of the best parts of the swashbuckling franchise.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Mackenzie Foy in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2'

Who They Play: Newlyweds Edward and Bella Cullen and their human-vampire daughter Renesmee.

Why It Works: Forget the ridiculous name (it's a mash-up of her grandmothers' names) and take a look at young Mackenzie. Now that it seems like Pattinson and Stewart may never get their happily ever after off-camera, Foy is as good as it gets in terms of a hypothetical Robsten offspring. The beautiful 11-year-old definitely won the genetic lottery, as she is the perfect combination of Rob and Kristen's gorgeous features.

Alfre Woodard & Sanaa Lathan in 'Something New,' 'The Family That Preys,' 'Love & Basketball'

Who They Play: Mother and daughter three times over: in the underrated interracial romcom "Something New", the Tyler Perry interracial dramedy "The Family That Preys" and the fabulous indie romance "Love & Basketball."

Why It Works: After a trifecta of films that show off their considerable skills at playing mother and child, we started to wonder if maybe Lathan really is Woodard's daughter. She isn't, but they sure could've fooled us with their twin almond-shaped eyes, perfect full lips and flawless skin.

Paula Malcomson & Willow Shields in 'The Hunger Games'

Who They Play: Melancholy District 12 widow Mrs. Everdeen and her youngest daughter, Primrose.

Why It Works: In the books, dark-haired Katniss takes after their (deceased) father while little sister Prim is the spitting image of her fair-skinned, light-haired mom. And while the trilogy's devoted followers had very strong opinions about whether the main actors fit their image of the book characters, most fans agreed that Malcomson and Shields captured Suzanne Collins' description of Katniss' mother and sister.

Who They Play: Immigrant brothers appropriately named Primo (Shalhoub) and Secondo (Tucci).

Why It Works: Shalhoub is Lebanese and Tucci Italian, but they were an excellent match as brothers desperate to save their family-run restaurant in this foodie-approved period drama. Maybe we were distracted by the sheer amount of delectable Italian food on display, but a thickly mustachioed Tony and a thickly eyebrowed Stanley (with slicked-back hair!) could definitely pass for fratelli.

Who They Play: The youngest of the seven magical Weasley kids: Ron and his little sister Ginny.

Why It Works: We know it seems there's only one prerequisite to being a member of the Wizarding World's Weasley clan — having red hair. But while most of the movie Weasleys had to get a dye job, natural gingers Grint and Wright stood out thanks to their matching locks, alabaster skin and sea-colored eyes. Plus, after ten years and eight movies, the two seemed as familiar as on-screen siblings can be — with or without magic.

Who They Play: Post-traumatic high schooler Donnie Darko and his Harvard-bound older sister Elizabeth.

Why It Works: We know it's cheating, since these two actually share the same DNA, but there were certainly people who saw the 2001 cult indie and thought, wow, that brother and sister really look alike. And they do. Plus, of all the brother-sister pairs working in Hollywood, we think the Gyllenhaals have what it takes to go the distance like Warren Beatty and Shirley MacLaine. Eleven years later and we're still keeping fingers crossed that they work together again.

Fanboys and fangirls, it's time to find some real estate on your prized home video shelf. He-who-must-not-be-named commands you to throw out all your "Harry Potter"Blu-rays, DVDs (and your VHS tapes - what, it's entirely plausible). That's because those money-grubbing monsters — oh, er, excuse me –  awesome Hollywood studio executives are about to release the latest in the "Ultimate, Final, We Swear, Awesome 'Harry Potter' Blu-ray Boxed Set."

It's called the "Wizard's Collection," and, at the current pricetag, we're pretty sure Timothy Spall comes and delivers it to your house. (Then he won't leave until you feed him dinner, which is awkward.) At a whopping 31 discs and with a very British looking box with all sorts of trinkets and gewgaws inside, it is a must-own for any "Potter" fanatic who, you know, feels absolutely no guilt whatsoever about helping the poor.

Our spies tell us that buried somewhere within these documents, or perhaps on the new bonus disc of material that – somehow – hasn't yet been seen, Hogwart's finest professors will be debuting some brand new spells.
