Who needs "300"-style Spartan abs when you can just blow robots up with your telekinetic powers?
That's a question you'll have to ask Gerard Butler, since according to Deadline he and his abs are in negotiations to replace Liam Hemsworth as the lead in Universal's feature version of sci-fi short "The Raven." No relation to that bird crap John Cusack movie of the same name, or the Lou Reed album either.
And, no, it's not the same movie as "The Crow," either. Nice try. Get More »
This week: Tom Cruise proves naysayers wrong yet again in the above-average thriller "Jack Reacher," which was shot entirely in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is based on Lee Child's 2005 mystery novel, "One Shot."
Also new this week is the horror hit "Mama" with Jessica Chastain, the Nicholas Sparks adaptation "Safe Haven" with Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough and the Blu-ray 3D conversion of "Gamer" with Gerard Butler. Get More »
The "porn star name game" is a time-honored tradition in America.
It's a game pretty much anyone can play, depending on the rules — we employ the First Name: First Pet, Last Name: Street You Grew Up On method (our apologies to those with allergies, maybe you had a goldfish?). And the results are, without fail, hilarious.
We asked 100 of our favorite movie stars in Hollywood — including Emma Watson, Keira Knightley, Megan Fox, Ryan Gosling, Paul Rudd, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Katie Holmes, Jon Hamm, Emma Stone and Neil Patrick Harris — for their porn star names. They did not let us down. Click through the gallery for all 100.

Riviera"), Joanna Varikos ("Angel 14") and Kase Wickman ("Blake Sisters").
People are always complaining about how much Americans suck at doing accents, whether it's Kevin Costner as "Robin Hood" or Keanu Reeves seemingly coming off a heroin addiction in "Bram Stoker's Dracula." And we do suck sometimes, yes.
However, we want to at least even the playing field a little by pointing out some bafflingly bad American accents perpetrated by thesps from overseas. Europe and Australia may have the best acting academies and such, but not every graduate is as versatile as they should be, starting with a certain Gerard Butler from this past weekend's "Olympus Has Fallen." "Madness? THIS. IS. SPARTA!!"
So did Gerard Butler set a new standard for alpha male-ness in Zack Snyder's epic swords-and-sandals man-fest, "300." And every man has been struggling to reach such seething levels of testosterone ever since.
Hollywood hasn't seemed to know what to do with Butler ever since he rocked Frank Miller's violent, bloody world, banishing him to the catacombs of lame romantic comedies and generic action flicks. It's a good thing he's good-lookin', eh? Check out our collection of pics of the "Olympus Has Fallen" star in movies and on the red carpet.
"Olympus Has Fallen" hits theaters this weekend and if you've seen the trailers, well, it might look just a little familiar to you. Gerard Butler plays a disgraced Secret Service agent who finds himself trapped inside the White House when it's overrun by terrorists. Armed only with courage and, well, a gun, he wages a one-man war to save the President — and America itself.
This week: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams all earned Oscar nominations for their performances in the period drama "The Master," writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson's thinly disguised commentary on Scientology.
Do you know how to surf? If you don't, here's your chance to learn as the owner of the sweetest board on the beach.
"Chasing Mavericks" tells the true-life tale of Jay Moriarty (Jonny Weston), a young surfer who dreams of conquering the mythic Mavericks surf break in Northern California. To help him achieve his goal, he enlists the help of Frosty Hesson (Gerard Butler), a veteran hanger of ten who mentors the lad on how to ride — or at least survive — the mighty wave.
You might want to go for something a little smaller than the Mavericks when you're first starting out, though you experienced surfers might've been mulling over taking on the mega-wave yourself but have been waiting for the right board with which to do it. Whatever the particular surfing scenario, a brand-new surfboard signed by the cast of "Chasing Mavericks" — including Gerard Butler and several legendary pro surfers — can bring nothing but good luck for one grand prize winner out on the water. And, of course, don't forget that "Chasing Mavericks" hits Blu-ray shelves on February 26! Get More »
Nicholas Sparks has a well-deserved reputation as the master of the romantic drama, thanks to films like "The Notebook" and new release "Safe Haven." Last year's movie "The Vow" has everything you would expect from a Nicholas Sparks film: hot actors (Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams), a wife in a coma, lingering amnesia and the joy of love rediscovered. Just one thing -- somehow, amazingly, Sparks didn't actually write it.
Yeah, we're surprised, too. So in honor of "The Vow," we hereby present our list of the Top Five Movies You'd Think Were Written by Nicholas Sparks. Get More »
Hey guys, remember the movie "Air Force One," where terrorists kidnapped the president and he had to kick their asses to show that America is still number one? Well, imagine if that movie had combined with "Die Hard" and been set inside the White House rather than on an airplane, and you've pretty much just seen the entire new trailer for "Olympus Has Fallen."
But hey, at least this one has Morgan Freeman in it. That's got to be worth something, right? Get More »
