Supercut: Gary Oldman, Losing His S**t

For being such a low-key, mild-mannered gentleman off-camera, Gary Oldman sure loses his s**t pretty often in movies, doesn't he? It almost feels as if we've been yelled at by Gary Oldman as much as anyone else in our lives.

That's what our acquaintances at Laughing Squid discovered with the embedded video above, which is, you guessed it, a supercut of Gary Oldman losing his s**t in movies. (If you are at work and wish to watch, please keep in mind that Gary's characters sometimes say bad words — and by sometimes, we of course mean "always.") What simian warlords dare take on Commissioner Gordon?

Gary Oldman continues his conquering of as many tentpole franchises as possible as he signs on for "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," according to Deadline.

"Dawn" takes place 15 years after the events of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (2011), with Caesar (Andy Serkis) rising in power as the leader of the ape revolution as a group of human scientists struggle to survive in San Francisco. Oldman will be playing Dreyfus, the leader of the human resistance — and, wouldn't you know it, a former police commissioner. Get More »

The Top 50 Music Videos Featuring Movie Stars

Kristen Stewart Music Video
MSN
Ever since Michael Jackson and John Landis unleashed "Thriller" in 1983, shaming all that preceded it, the music video has become an art form within itself. It can be a launching pad for your career (Alicia Silverstone), a favor to a boyfriend (Courteney Cox, Evan Rachel Wood), or a way to begin rebuilding a thousand burned bridges (Mickey Rourke).

With the MTV Video Music Awards hitting MTV tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET, we've compiled a list of the 50 best based on a number of factors: creativity of video, quality of actor's performance and, for some, random dancing ability. Our only caveats: no cameos and no soundtracks. The debate begins now. Get More »

The Post-Potter Roles of Our Favorite Wizards and Witches

Our seven years at Hogwarts are long over and done with, and we're seriously missing our favorite wizards and witches. Sure, the books and movies will always be there, but it's just not the same as having new installments to look forward to, is it? Where's the thrill now that Voldemort is gone and the Boy Who Lived, well, lived? Where are we supposed to get our magical fix now?

Luckily, the actors and actresses behind the wands and invisibility cloaks are still going strong, and we can have fun watching them on screens big and small. We saw Daniel Radcliffe drag us back into the world of the eerie in "The Woman in Black" earlier this year and now Draco Malfoy Tom Felton is getting his creep on with "The Apparition."

In their honor, we've decided to check in on all the Gryffindors, Slytherins, Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs to see just what they're up to, post-Potter. Get More »

If there's one thing Luna Lovegood knows better than pretty much anyone, it's monsters and how to fight them. Dead or Alive Gary Oldman Is Coming With 'Robocop'

Getty Images

After balking at taking on the live-action "Akira," Gary Oldman has decided on a different route into cyberpunk territory with the tried-and-true cyborg badass "Robocop."

Oldman will appear in the remake as Norton, "the scientist who creates Robocop and finds himself torn between the ideals of the machine trying to rediscover its humanity and the callous needs of a corporation," The Hollywood Reporter dishes.

This character, new to the reboot, corroborates the notion that this version will focus more on Alex Murphy (played by "The Killing" star Joel Kinnaman) and his technological transformation into "Part man, Part machine, All cop." Get More »

The Weinstein Company

Have you heard the one about the bootlegging Bondurant Brothers?

Based on a true-crime story, "Lawless" (formerly "The Wettest County," which actually sounded cooler, but ah well) stars Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy as Jack and Forrest Bondurant, sibling criminals who make a run for the American Dream by smuggling alcohol in Prohibition-era Virginia, an activity that brings the criminal organization run by Floyd Banner (Gary Oldman) to the attention of FBI Special Agent Charlie Rakes (Guy Pearce).
